Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technologies has accelerated the transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including service-based industries such as laundry businesses. However, many of these businesses still rely on manual processes, which often result in inefficiencies and limited customer engagement. This study aims to develop a web-based information system for laundry services using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology to support digital transformation. The development process consisted of four stages: planning, design, coding, and testing, carried out iteratively with continuous stakeholder involvement. Key features implemented include customer registration, order management, real-time order tracking, invoice generation, and administrative reporting. Functional testing confirmed that all core features performed as expected. Usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) produced an average score of 82.3, indicating Excellent usability. Customers appreciated the mobile-first design and order tracking, employees highlighted the efficiency of order input, and administrators valued reporting functions. The findings demonstrate that XP enables rapid development, enhances system quality, and aligns software outputs with user needs. This study contributes to the literature by showing how agile methods can accelerate digital transformation in SMEs, while also offering practical implications for improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the laundry service sector

Abstract

Digital transformation in the payment sector has expanded the use of cashless transactions, yet the continued use of digital payment systems among business actors remains uneven, particularly in regional micro, small, and medium enterprises. This study aims to examine the effects of financial literacy, security, and accounting information system quality on the decision to continue using Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard in business transactions among micro, small, and medium enterprises in Cirebon Regency. This study employed a quantitative explanatory survey with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 200 respondents through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that financial literacy, security, and accounting information system quality all have positive and significant effects on continued usage decisions. Financial literacy was found to be the strongest predictor, followed by security and accounting information system quality. The model also demonstrated strong explanatory power, indicating that the three variables jointly explained a substantial proportion of the variance in continued usage decisions. These findings suggest that the sustainability of digital payment use among micro, small, and medium enterprises depends on user capability, transaction safety, and system support for financial administration.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media as a digital public sphere has significantly increased the occurrence of defamation offenses with broad and immediate impacts. In Indonesia, defamation is regulated under the Criminal Code (KUHP) as well as Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, as amended by Law Number 19 of 2016 (EIT Law). However, in practice, the enforcement of these legal instruments has generated debate regarding their effectiveness, legal certainty, and the balance between the protection of reputation and freedom of expression. This research aims to analyze the regulation and effectiveness of criminal sanctions imposed on perpetrators of defamation through social media. The study employs normative legal research using statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that although the existing regulations provide a legal basis for enforcement, there remains potential overlap between the Criminal Code and the EIT Law, which affects legal certainty. Furthermore, the effectiveness of criminal sanctions is influenced by legal substance, law enforcement structures, and legal culture within society. Therefore, regulatory harmonization and a proportional approach are necessary to ensure that criminal sanctions create deterrent effects while safeguarding responsible freedom of expression.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on people's lives, particularly with the emergence of various forms of cybercrime. Cybercrime has characteristics that differ from conventional crime, including being committed through electronic systems, being cross-border, and using digital data and information as both a means and object of the crime. These conditions demand the existence of criminal law regulations that can provide legal certainty and protect the legal interests of the community in cyberspace. Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE) is present as a legal instrument to regulate criminal acts in the field of information technology, including regulations regarding the criminal liability of perpetrators of cybercrime. This study aims to examine the provisions on criminal liability of perpetrators of cybercrime under the ITE Law and analyze the obstacles faced in its implementation. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory approach, a conceptual approach, and a case approach. The legal materials used include primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials analyzed qualitatively. The research results show that the provisions on criminal liability in the ITE Law are fundamentally based on the principle of fault (geen straf zonder schuld) and recognize a broad range of legal subjects, including individuals and corporations. The ITE Law also regulates various forms of cybercrime and their associated criminal sanctions. However, in practice, various obstacles remain, including the difficulty of obtaining electronic evidence, the limited capacity of law enforcement officials, the transnational nature of cybercrime, and the potential for multiple interpretations of several provisions of the ITE Law. Therefore, regulatory strengthening, capacity building of law enforcement officials, and strengthening international cooperation and public digital literacy are needed to achieve effective and equitable cybercrime law enforcement.

Abstract

Analysis of the level of watershed damage in 2009 in watersheds in the BPDAS Barito working area stated that the Tabunio watershed is included in the second priority handling watershed in South Kalimantan Province because it is considered one of the critical watersheds.  Flooding is an event that occurs due to poor water and critical land management conditions and due to high rainfall in the upstream and middle watersheds or abnormal catchment areas. This study aims to determine the potential level of flood vulnerability in the Tebing Siring Sub-Watershed of Tabunio Watershed. The method used is purposive sampling, scoring with overlay union. Purposive is performed for infiltration sampling. Scoring in GIS applications is the provision of weights or values to the map polygons of each parameter in a series of spatial analysis. An overlay process is carried out on all parameters with the "union" tool in Arcgis. The results showed that the distribution of flood vulnerability levels in the Tebing Siring Sub-watershed at the highest level was 7,414,115 with the category less prone to spreading evenly at the locations of tebing siring 1, tebing siring 2, and tebing siring 3. The level of flood vulnerability is prone to be the second widest at 817.7462 ha, and the category is somewhat vulnerable to an area of 740.361 ha. The level of flood vulnerability with the smallest area with the category of not vulnerable, which is 470.0998 ha.

Abstract

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic disease that still faces challenges in terms of health literacy, social stigma, and limited support for its sufferers. In this context, social media is a strategic medium for healthcare organizations to convey information, build audience engagement, and facilitate community support. This study aims to analyze the digital health communication strategy of the Lupus Indonesia Foundation through the @yayasanlupusindonesia Instagram account using the framework of the Four Pillars of Social Media Strategy of Safko and Brake. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the support of quantitative content analysis. The research data included 49 purposively selected Instagram posts, as well as audience comments collected through a scraping process using Apify's tools. The analysis is focused on the implementation of content strategies, audience engagement patterns, and user responses and sentiment. The results of the study show that the communication strategy of the Indonesian Lupus Foundation is not only oriented towards the delivery of health information, but also emphasizes a dialogical, collaborative, and empathetic approach. Communication and education-based content shows a relatively higher level of audience engagement, while the comment column serves as a digital social support space for people with lupus. These findings indicate that effective digital health communication in the context of chronic disease needs to integrate informational, relational, and affective dimensions simultaneously. This research provides a theoretical contribution in strengthening the relevance of the Four Pillars of Social Media Strategy in the study of digital health communication, as well as a practical contribution for health organizations in designing more participatory and sustainable social media communication strategies.

Abstract

Background: The Internet plays an important role in providing health information, particularly among university students. However, limited guidance from healthcare professionals may contribute to misinformation and inappropriate antibiotic use in the community. Understanding online health-seeking behaviors, especially regarding antibiotics, is important for effective public health promotion strategies; however, related research remains limited. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the patterns and motivations of Internet use related to seeking health and antibiotic information, including online purchasing behavior and self-medication practices, among university students in Tasikmalaya. Methods: This cross-sectional study used stratified sampling of 132 non-health students at Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya. Data were collected using a questionnaire on internet use related to health information seeking and antibiotic self-medication. Results: Most students (94.7%) used the Internet to search for health-related information, while 65.2% searched specifically for antibiotic information. More than half of the respondents (58.3%) reported self-medicating with antibiotics, and 57.6% purchased pharmaceutical products online. Female students were significantly more likely than male students to seek health information (OR= 7.0; P = 0.021), seek antibiotic information (OR= 4.0; P = 0.001), and purchase pharmaceutical products online (OR= 2.8; P = 0.013). Convenience and lower prices were the main reasons for making online purchases. Additionally, 75.3% of students reported limited time to consult healthcare professionals as a reason for self-medicating with antibiotics. Conclusion: University students frequently use the Internet to seek health- and antibiotic-related information. Strengthening digital health promotion and oversight of online pharmaceutical sales is important to support rational antibiotic use.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of cultural attractions, digital information, and social media content on tourist satisfaction at Maimun Palace in Medan. The research employed an associative quantitative approach involving 99 domestic tourists who visited Maimun Palace. The respondents were selected using an accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that cultural attractions have a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction. Meanwhile, digital information and social media content do not show a significant partial effect on tourist satisfaction. However, simultaneously, these three variables have a positive and significant influence on tourist satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.500 indicates that 50% of the variation in tourist satisfaction can be explained by cultural attractions, digital information, and social media content, while the remaining 50% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. Overall, the findings highlight that cultural values and local heritage remain essential factors in shaping tourist satisfaction in historical tourism destinations such as Maimun Palace. Therefore, destination managers are encouraged to optimize cultural potential through more creative, informative, and relevant digital promotional strategies.
