Abstract

The advancement of information technology has encouraged schools to adopt digital payment systems. This study aims to develop a school billing application based on Android, integrated with the Midtrans Core API as an online transaction solution. The application is designed to simplify the payment process for parents and assist school administrators in recording and monitoring transactions automatically. The development process follows the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, consisting of planning, design, rapid construction, and implementation stages. The backend is built using Laravel, while the mobile interface is developed with React Native. System testing is conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all features work as intended, including login, bill display, payment processing, and transaction reporting. The results show that the application improves efficiency and transparency in managing school payments. This solution enhances accessibility for parents and supports the digital transformation of school administration systems.

Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education institutions (HEIs) requires not only the adoption of technology but also a clear roadmap for successful implementation and effective change management. As independently funded institutions, private HEIs must also consider their strategic and operational business needs. This study aims to identify and analyze business process improvements in the governance of the Internal Quality Assurance System (Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal/SPMI) through a single case study of a private vocational HEI in Indonesia. The research consisted of a literature review, identification of primary and supporting business processes, focus group discussions (FGDs), and value chain analysis. Business process improvement was conducted through five stages: organizing for improvement, understanding the process, streamlining, measuring and controlling, and continuous improvement. Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) was used to model and visualize the redesigned business processes. The findings produced a comprehensive blueprint of the internal quality assurance process and the SPMI business process cycle for vocational HEIs. The redesigned process addresses a critical gap in the previous system by strengthening the linkage between evaluation and control outcomes and institutional policy formulation. The improved SPMI cycle is more structured and efficient through refinements to the audit process, the application of Eisenhower Matrix analysis, and the management of indicator duplication. In addition, the study developed a real-time e-SPMI dashboard and a base-indicator detection feature to minimize indicator duplication. This study contributes theoretically by integrating the SPMI literature with a business process improvement perspective and extending value chain analysis within internal quality assurance. Practically, it provides a BPMN-based process model and value chain framework that can be directly implemented at Politeknik Caltex Riau (PCR) and adapted by other private vocational HEIs with similar organizational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of education, farming experience, training and extension services, managerial skills, and access to digital information on corn farming income in Montong District, Tuban Regency, and to identify the variables with the most dominant influence. The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research location was purposively selected in Montong District, Tuban Regency, as one of the corn production centers. The study population consisted of 947 corn farmers belonging to four farmer groups. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, resulting in 91 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficients of determination. The results showed that partially, education and farming experience did not significantly influence corn farming income. Training and extension services had a positive effect, but were not yet significant at the 95% confidence level. Meanwhile, managerial skills and access to digital information had a positive and significant impact on corn farming income. Simultaneously, all independent variables significantly influenced corn farming income. Based on the Standardized Coefficients (Beta) values ​​for the main study variables, managerial skills were the most dominant variable influencing corn farming income. These findings indicate that improving farmers' abilities in planning, organizing, managing resources, and utilizing digital information contributesto to increased corn farming income.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven many institutions, including village governments, to adopt web-based information systems to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of public services. However, the use of digital information systems also presents serious challenges in terms of data security, especially for personal and sensitive information. A major concern is the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access through hacking or misuse of the system. This study aims to implement the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm as a data protection mechanism within the web-based information system of Fafinesu A Village. AES was selected due to its proven reliability and efficiency as a symmetric encryption algorithm with a high level of security. The research stages include identifying sensitive data that needs protection, designing encryption and decryption schemes, integrating the AES module into a Laravel-based web system, and evaluating the encryption results and system performance impact. The implementation results show that all sensitive data stored in the database was successfully encrypted and can only be decrypted using a valid key within the system. Performance testing indicates that the AES integration does not significantly affect system speed. From the user's perspective, the encryption implementation increases trust in the system due to the higher level of data confidentiality and protection. This study provides a practical contribution to improving information security standards in village government environments and can serve as a model for the development of secure, modern, and trustworthy village information systems.

Abstract

Fika Shop Bali faces challenges such as manual recording of transactions, inaccuracies in financial reports, and inconsistent stock data. This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system to automate the management of sales, inventory, and financial data. Using the waterfall method, this research includes analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. The system effectively records transactions, generates real-time financial reports, and monitors reseller debt settlement automatically. This improves operational efficiency and supports strategic decision-making.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has accelerated digitalization in the printing industry. CV. Mega Tama Prima faces challenges with its manual WhatsApp-based ordering process, leading to operational inefficiencies and miscommunication risks. This study designs a web-based ordering information system integrated with an interactive design editor, enabling customers to place orders and design printed products online while assisting administrators in organized order management. Development follows the waterfall methodology through requirement analysis, system design, implementation, blackbox testing, and maintenance stages. Results show the system significantly improves ordering efficiency, reduces communication errors, and broadens market reach for customers outside the local area. All core features including registration, login, design editor, and order management have been tested and function properly. The system successfully digitizes the ordering workflow and provides customers greater control in product design. Future development recommendations include expanding product range, incorporating automated notifications, enabling real-time order tracking, and enhancing customer-administrator communication.

Abstract

This study aims to address problems in the traditional clothing rental process, which is still manual and often leads to misunderstandings between renters and owners. The proposed solution is a web-based information system equipped with digital contract features. The development method used is Agile, which emphasizes gradual iterations, user collaboration, and continuous improvement. The system features include user registration, clothing selection, down payment, transfer proof upload, contract approval, digital signature (JSignPDF), and PDF printing. Test results show that the system functions effectively and meets all functional requirements. It simplifies administration, speeds up the rental process, and enhances trust through legally valid digital contracts. Future development is recommended to include integration with official identity verification and electronic certificates.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology in veterinary healthcare has significantly impacted medical data management modernization. The Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) Veterinary Clinic of Medan City encounters challenges with manual recording systems that result in operational inefficiencies, documentation error risks, and loss of critical animal medical record data. This research develops an integrated Web-Based Veterinary Medical Records and Clinic Services Information System equipped with service-supporting features, enabling clinic staff to manage animal medical data digitally while providing organized and efficient services to pet owners. The development follows waterfall methodology through requirement analysis, system design utilizing Unified Modeling Language (UML), implementation employing PHP and MySQL, Black Box Testing procedures, and maintenance phases. Results demonstrate that the system significantly enhances medical record documentation efficiency, reduces data errors, and provides real-time accessibility to animal medical information. All core features including patient registration, medical record documentation, queue management, vaccination tracking, online consultation, and reporting have been tested and function effectively. The system successfully digitalizes medical documentation workflows and provides clinic staff with enhanced control in data management.

Abstract

In today’s digital era, information systems play a strategic role in improving operational efficiency and competitive advantage, particularly in the financial services sector such as the insurance industry. This study proposes the development of a web-based information system due to its flexibility and ease of access. At PT Panin Dai-Ichi Life, the existing systems for agents, administrators, staff, and customers remain fragmented, leading to data duplication, lengthy processes, and inaccurate information. The objective of this research is to design a web-based information system for PT Panin Dai-Ichi Life using the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) approach as the system modeling and design methodology. The system will be implemented through a website (paninasuransi.my.id) accessible by administrators, staff, agents, and customers. This integration is expected to create an efficient, maintainable, and adaptive system that meets the company’s needs. The system design is developed using Unified Modeling Language (UML), including Use Case, Activity, Sequence, and Class Diagrams, and validated through Black Box Testing. The research demonstrates that the proposed information system can resolve major issues in managing user, customer, policy, and claim data, ensuring structured and well-documented data processing across the organization.

Abstract

Information related to national mining results is still difficult for the public to access online. Price and production data are generally only known to certain parties, such as mining companies (miners) and trading companies. National pricing is adjusted to weekly market conditions, using the Indonesia Coal Index (ICI) as a reference for the domestic market and the Coal Reference Price (HBA) for exports. This situation limits transparency, necessitating a web-based system capable of presenting mining data in a structured and easily accessible manner. This study aims to design and develop a Web-Based National Mining Results Monitoring Information System to display price and production data in real-time. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) through literature review and interviews, with design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system is equipped with content update features without code changes and chat support between visitors and administrators. Testing using the Black Box Testing method shows that all functions operate according to specifications. The developed system can be accessed via the website hasiltambangindonesia.com.
