Abstract

Small service businesses require efficient operational management and timely access to business information to support daily operations. Grandma Laundry Sumberkolak previously relied on manual transaction recording, handwritten receipts, conventional WhatsApp messaging, and manual sales recapitulation using a calculator, which made transaction handling less efficient and complicated sales report monitoring. This study aimed to design and implement a web-based laundry information system integrated with a WhatsApp Gateway and a chatbot for sales reporting. The study employed an applied research approach and used the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using Laravel, PHP, and PostgreSQL, with a WhatsApp Gateway service and a chatbot interface connected to an external GPT-4o-based large language model for natural-language access to sales data. The implemented system supported customer and service management, transaction processing, order status updates, automatic WhatsApp notifications, and interactive sales reporting. Functional testing and post-use user validation showed that the main system functions operated as expected; all 15 respondents gave affirmative responses to the seven post-use validation items, while four of five routine chatbot reporting prompts matched direct PostgreSQL reference results exactly. One routine prompt produced a partial result because of a timestamp-boundary issue in the generated SQL query. The findings indicate that the developed system can provide practical support for operational management, automated customer communication, and access to sales information in the studied laundry business

Abstract

Website quality is an important factor in user satisfaction with digital public services. The South Sumatra Spatial Planning Information System (SITARUNG) has not previously been evaluated from a user perspective. This study examines the effects of the WebQual 4.0 dimensions—usability, information quality, and service interaction quality—on user satisfaction with the SITARUNG website and identifies improvement priorities using Importance Performance Map Analysis (IPMA) based on the perceptions of Generation Z users. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 100 Generation Z respondents through a web-based questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4, followed by IPMA to identify indicators requiring improvement. The results show that information quality and service interaction quality significantly and positively influence user satisfaction, whereas usability does not have a significant effect. The model explains 51.6% of the variance in user satisfaction. IPMA identified five indicators in Quadrant I as improvement priorities: relevance of information to user needs (IQ3), appropriateness of information detail (IQ5), accuracy of service delivery information (SIQ1), ease of data management (SIQ2), and website processing and display speed (SIQ4). These findings indicate that information quality and service interaction quality are the primary factors associated with user satisfaction in the SITARUNG website, while usability does not show a significant effect in the present sample. Practically, the findings provide recommendations for improving spatial information services through continuous data updates, adequate GIS server infrastructure, and cross-agency data validation to support the accuracy of public spatial information.

Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped how educational institutions communicate value, build stakeholder trust, and manage public perception. In Indonesia’s highly connected digital environment, senior high schools face increasing pressure to manage institutional visibility and information credibility strategically. This study develops a visibility-credibility framework to explain how Social Media Marketing Activities and Information Quality jointly contribute to school image, extending existing brand equity and information quality perspectives beyond their conventional treatment as separate antecedents. Using a qualitative conceptual research design, this study applies an integrative, framework-based literature review supported by secondary data from peer-reviewed publications, academic books, government statistics, institutional reports, and credible digital reports published primarily between 2016 and May 2026, while retaining earlier seminal works as theoretical foundations. Thematic analysis was employed to synthesize conceptual patterns across Social Media Marketing Activities, Information Quality, and school image. The findings propose that Social Media Marketing Activities strengthen school image through entertainment, interaction, trendiness, customization, and word of mouth as the visibility pathway, while Information Quality strengthens school image through accuracy, relevance, timeliness, completeness, and credibility as the trust pathway. A strong school image emerges when engaging digital communication is aligned with credible information, as visibility without credibility produces a fragile image, whereas credibility without visibility may leave institutional value unrecognized. This study contributes to digital marketing and educational branding literature by extending these perspectives to the underexplored context of Indonesian secondary education and provides a structured basis for ethical, engaging, and trustworthy digital branding strategies.

Abstract

The National Values Enhancement Program (Program Pemantapan Nilai-Nilai Kebangsaan—PPNK) of the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas RI) is a strategic program aimed at strengthening national insight, character, and national values among members of society. However, the participant registration process for PPNK is still conducted manually, resulting in several challenges, including slow information processing, a high risk of data-entry errors, and suboptimal dissemination of information to prospective participants. This study aims to develop a design prototype for the PPNK Participant Information System at Lemhannas RI by applying the Design Thinking methodology to facilitate and streamline the participant registration process. This approach was selected because it emphasizes identifying and exploring user needs, defining problems, and developing innovative, user-centered solutions. The study resulted in a PPNK Participant Information System prototype designed based on identified user requirements and incorporating training management and participant data management features. To evaluate the system's usability, the prototype was assessed using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The evaluation involved 10 respondents and yielded an average SUS score of 81.25. This score falls within the Excellent category, indicating that the proposed system is easy to use, meets user needs, and provides a positive user experience. The proposed prototype is expected to support more effective, efficient, and structured registration and participant management processes for the PPNK program at Lemhannas RI, while also serving as a foundation for developing an information system ready for implementation within the Lemhannas RI environment.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of emerging digital technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, cloud computing, big data analytics, and robotic process automation (RPA) has fundamentally transformed accounting information systems (AIS). Despite growing interest in digital transformation within accounting, a comprehensive synthesis of how these technologies collectively impact AIS effectiveness, efficiency, and organizational capabilities remains limited. This systematic literature review addresses this gap by synthesizing empirical evidence on the digital transformation of AIS. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, a comprehensive search was conducted across eight database sources covering publications from 2016 to 2026. After removing 362 duplicates from 1,792 initial records, 500 relevance-ranked papers underwent title/abstract screening, yielding 117 papers for full-text assessment, which resulted in 103 included studies. The 103 included studies revealed that AI, blockchain, cloud computing, big data analytics, and RPA significantly enhance AIS effectiveness through improved accuracy (72–79% in predictive models), automation of routine tasks, real-time reporting capabilities, and enhanced transparency. Organizational capabilities required for successful adoption include technical skills development, robust governance frameworks, cultural readiness, and adequate technological infrastructure. Major implementation challenges include high costs, cybersecurity concerns, data privacy issues, skills gaps, and regulatory uncertainties. Digital transformation profoundly reshapes AIS by automating processes, enhancing decision-making quality, and improving financial reporting reliability. Successful implementation requires comprehensive organizational readiness, including workforce upskilling, governance frameworks, and strategic alignment. Future research should address geographical biases, explore ethical dimensions of AI adoption.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technology has transformed social relations and reshaped family roles, particularly in digitally integrated urban societies. This study examines digital literacy not merely as a technical competence but as a social arena that deconstructs and reconstructs meanings, power relations, and educational functions within urban families. It focuses on the social conditions driving the widespread adoption of digital literacy among families in Mataram City. Using a qualitative approach within a constructivist-interpretive paradigm, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and institutional triangulation. Analysis draws on social construction theory, symbolic interactionism, structuration theory, network society, and social deconstruction. The findings show that digital literacy is socially constructed through urban lifestyles, educational digitalization, and the normalization of digital devices in domestic spaces. Digital practices transform parental supervision, emotional interaction, and educational authority by redefining control, communication, and knowledge production. However, some families reconstruct these roles through dialogue, ethical regulation, and negotiated relationships between parental agency and technology. The study highlights critical family-based digital literacy as a strategic foundation for sustaining social cohesion and educational functions in digitally mediated urban societies
