Abstract

This research examines the integration of Supply Chain Management (SCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Accounting Information Systems (AIS) based on Machine Learning (ML) to enhance the competitive advantage of SMEs, focusing on three questions: (RQ1) the relevant integration architecture, (RQ2) the integration mechanisms, and (RQ3) its impact on competitiveness. The study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA 2020 method and bibliometric analysis thru Biblioshiny on Scopus-indexed publications from 2020 to 2025. From the initial 2,923 documents, after deduplication, title/abstract screening, and full-text eligibility, 255 articles were designated as the corpus for analysis. The mapping results show rapid growth (annual growth rate of 44.35%) and a concentration of publications in 2023–2024, indicating the topic of intelligent system integration for SMEs as an emerging research front. The thematic and co-occurrence mapping confirms the interconnection of supply chain, customer/marketing, accounting, and AI/ML themes, with the dominant central outcomes being business/firm/financial performance, competitiveness, and competitive advantage. However, the distribution of domain combinations shows that research is still dominated by single domains, making the simultaneous integration of SCM, CRM and AIS based ML a major gap. The study concludes the need for a modular, cost-effective, and easily adoptable integration architecture, with a focus on data standardization, lightweight cloud modules, and strengthening the competencies of MSME actors, as well as encouraging further research for implementable artifacts and more measurable impact evaluations.

Abstract

Higher education management is evolving from functionally isolated information systems toward integrated and augmented intelligence frameworks. While dashboard-based Executive Information Systems (EIS) effectively support routine reporting, they remain limited in contextual awareness and analytical capability for complex strategic decision-making. This study aims to explore the evolution of Executive Information Systems in higher education toward a conversational paradigm by identifying the limitations of conventional EIS and examining executive information needs and interaction patterns. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant peer-reviewed studies, following a structured protocol that includes the definition of research questions, database selection, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and systematic analysis. The selected literature focuses on Executive Information Systems, agent-based architecture, Large Language Model (LLM) integration, and augmented intelligence approaches that combine data-driven and model-based techniques. The findings reveal that existing EIS implementations are predominantly constrained by static dashboards and limited interaction mechanisms. The analysis further highlights emerging trends in conversational interaction, intelligent data processing, and augmented analytics, as well as key technological, architectural, security, and organizational considerations influencing the adoption of conversational approaches. This study demonstrates that a conversational paradigm offers a promising direction for advancing Executive Information Systems in higher education by enhancing executive access to contextualized information and supporting more effective strategic decision-making.

Abstract

Selecting suitable crop types based on soil and environmental conditions is essential for improving agricultural productivity. Machine learning enables crop classification using soil and climate characteristics, but using all features may increase model complexity without necessarily improving performance. This study analyzes the effect of Information Gain-based feature selection on Random Forest, Decision Tree, and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) for crop classification. The farming.csv dataset contains 2,200 samples, seven input features—nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), temperature, humidity, pH, and rainfall—and 22 crop classes. The experiment employed an 80:20 train-test split with random_state 42. Feature selection using mutual_info_classif with a threshold >1.0 reduced the features to six: humidity, K, rainfall, P, temperature, and N. Model performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Using all features, Random Forest, Decision Tree, and KNN achieved accuracies of 99.32%, 98.64%, and 97.05%, respectively. After feature selection, Random Forest and Decision Tree achieved 99.09%, while KNN remained at 97.05%. These results indicate that Information Gain can reduce the feature set by one feature while maintaining nearly unchanged classification performance.

Abstract

Lembang Park & Zoo serves as both a wildlife conservation facility and an educational tourism destination. To support visitor education, the zoo currently utilizes digital and printed informational media. However, printed media present sustainability challenges due to paper consumption and waste generation, while also limiting the flexibility of information delivery. Augmented reality (AR) offers the potential to provide a more sustainable and interactive digital information medium, although its effectiveness depends on the design of an intuitive and user-centred interface. Therefore, this study aims to design a user interface for an AR-based information system at Lembang Park & Zoo based on visitors' needs and interaction preferences. This study employed a qualitative research approach through field observations and semi-structured interviews with zoo visitors to identify user requirements, information needs, and interaction patterns. The collected data were analysed descriptively to identify key themes that informed the interface design process. The findings indicate that visitors require a simple, intuitive, and visually engaging interface with clear navigation and contextual information that can be easily accessed during their visit. These findings were translated into user interface design recommendations for an AR application intended to support digital information delivery and provide a foundation for future implementation and evaluation in zoological education environments.
