Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IX MTsN 8 Pesisir Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas IX MTsN 8 Pesisir Selatan yang menerapkan metode Problem Solving lebih baik daripada hasil belajar pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen, dengan rancangan penelitian random terhadap subjek. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX MTsN 8 Pesisir Selatan yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan adalah secara acak, yang terpilih sebagai kelas sampel adalah IX.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IX.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Bentuk tes yang digunakan adalah bentuk esai dengan reliabilitas tes adalah . Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t satu pihak dengan bantuan Software SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa kedua kelas sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen pada taraf kepercayaan ? = 0,05 dan hasil dari uji hipotesis diperoleh P-value sama dengan 0,000 artinya lebih kecil dari ? = 0,05, maka hipotesis pada penelitian ini diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan penerapan metode problem solving lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IX MTsN 8 Pesisir Selatan Tahun Pelajaran 2018-2019 dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan sarana yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengoptimalkan kegiatan pembelajaran. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendesain media pembelajaran kekinian, seperti yang telah dilakukan oleh tim pengampu matakuliah usahatani di Program Studi Agribisnis Universitas Trunojoyo Madura (UTM). Dosen pengampu mendesain media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi, dengan nama Si-Cantik (Sistem Informasi Perencanaan Usahatani Lahan Kering). Media ini telah diaplikasikan pada matakuliah usahatani semester ganjil 2019/2020. Dalam rangka mengetahui persepsi atau penilaian mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran ini, maka dilakukan survey dengan menggunakan 7 indikator. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 33 orang. Hasil analisis menunjukkkan, sebagian besar responden menyetujui bahwa media pembelajaran Si-Cantik dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih detail tentang materi perencanaan usahatani, dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dalam pembuatan perencanaan usahatani.

Abstract

The aims of this research were firstly, to describe an analysis result of correlationbetween speed reading and students Indonesian language competency at the class VII SMPN2 Ranah Pesisir of South Pesisir Regency. Secondly, students ability in reading speeds at the class VII SMPN 2 Ranah Pesisir of South Pesisir Regency. The type of this research was qualitative by using a descriptive method. Population of this research was all students at the class VII SMPN 2 Ranah Pesisir of South Pesisir Regency totally 128 people. Technique of data collection was random sampling with total sample about 33 people. Technique of data analysis used percentage score by calculating students speed reading ability and finding the average score of their ability toward the speed reading and understanding Indonesian reading based on their average score of the reading comprehension achievement. To know the correlation of each variable was measured by using product moment. The result of this research showed that the ability of students in speed reading at SMPN 2 Ranah Pesisir of South Pesisir Regency was in lower category; however their understanding toward Indonesian reading was higher. The result of research showed that there was a significant correlation between speed reading ability and students comprehension toward Indonesian reading ability of students at SMP Negeri 2 Ranah Pesisir of South Pesisir Regency.

Abstract

The period of the Covid-19 pandemic demands changes to the learning system. Changes in the learning system cause learning activities and monitoring patterns carried out by supervisors to be adjusted to learning during a pandemic. The objectives of this study are 1) to prove whether sustainable academic supervision can improve teacher discipline and teacher quality in managing learning during a pandemic; 2) knowing the right steps in carrying out ongoing academic supervision for learning during the pandemic, and 3) measuring the increase in discipline, learning quality, and quality of teacher learning tools in managing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic qualitatively. This type of research is school action research. The duration of this research was from April 2020 to May 2020. The subjects of this study were class teachers at the 009 Kuala Terusan public elementary school, Pangkalan Kerinci, Riau. The instrument used was the teacher's weekly activity schedule form and the learning device suitability sheet for learning during the pandemic. The results obtained are 1) supervision using the teacher's weekly activity form can improve teacher discipline; 2) supervision during a pandemic, apart from going through observation, also needs to be done by using in-depth discussion techniques with the teacher concerned; and 3) improving the quality of discipline, learning, and learning tools to increase each cycle. So, periodic checks, observations and in-depth discussions are one of the solutions in carrying out supervision during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The school newspaper is a mass communication medium published and managed by the school. The main manager is OSIS who are accompanied by Indonesian Language teachers and Information and Communication Technology teachers under the supervision of the school principal. The existence of a school newspaper is very important as a place to accommodate student work. This activity produces an online school newspaper that can be accessed anywhere and from anywhere. The purpose of this training is to provide facilities and infrastructure that can be used by schools to support student literacy activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the effect of principal leadership and teacher work motivation together on the work discipline of teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Prabumulih. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach (cause and effect). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The research got the conclusion (1) There is an effect of the principal's leadership on the work discipline of teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Prabumulih. (2) There is an effect of teacher work motivation on teacher work discipline at SMP Negeri 11 Prabumulih. (3) There is an influence of the leadership of the principal and the work motivation of teachers together on the work discipline of teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Prabumulih

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penciptaan pantun dan talibun dalam kaba Urang Piamanpada pertunjukan Dendang Pauah dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran apresiasi sastra di sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, rekaman, observasi langsung, dan catatan lapangan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah tukang dendang (Tasar), tukang saluang (Pono), dan masyarakat di Desa Koto Lalang, Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan, Kota Padang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penciptaan pantun dan talibun dalam kaba Urang Piaman pada pertunjukan Dendang Pauah dilakukan dengan teknik mengingat.Teknik mengingat memungkinkan tukang dendang berimprovisasi selama pertunjukan.Struktur teks kaba berbentuk puisi naratif dan prosa lirik yang di dalamnya memanfaatkan unsur-unsur puisi berupa pantun dan talibun mengikuti formula tertentu. Rumus itu diterapkan di setiap baris teks sepanjang pertunjukan. Rumusnya berada pada level bait, baris berpasangan, baris tunggal, dan lebih banyak lagi di baris (frasa, klausa, dan kata-kata).

Abstract

Transformational leadership is becoming the popular concepts in the management science for the last 30 years, as well as in the field of education management. To avoid an application in the education sector that is merely followed because of trending, it needs an understanding of the historical side of the transformational leadership model. Through the literature study, this study presented three things: (1) The history of the development of leadership theories; (2) The history of a transformational leadership theory model, and (3) the development of transformational leadership studies in the field of education. The development of leadership studies involving intrinsic and extrinsic motivational theories, has spawned the idea of an intrinsic transformational leadership, compared to extrinsic transactional leadership. Inspired by the writings of James McGregor Burns (1978), Bernard M. Bass (1990) created the concept of transformational leadership model, to popular and became an important study to be implemented in various sectors, including in the field of education. The study of transformational leadership in the area of pedagogy has come to the conclusion that transformational leadership is an ideal representation of the practice at school in the 21st century.

Abstract

This study describes the effect of clinical supervision and academic supervision of principals on teacher performance in state junior high school 3 Rambang Dangku Muara Enim Regency. This study uses quantitative methods. Techniques and data collection procedures through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Based on the data analysis, the conclusion is 1) there is a clue to clinical supervision of teacher performance, meaning that clinical supervision can renew teacher performance. 2) There is an effect of principal academic supervision on teacher performance. 3) there are clinical supervision and academic supervision of principals on teacher performance, thus teaching skills and work motivation collectively on teacher performance. Clinical supervision and academic supervision of principals are able to affect teacher performance with a contribution of 24.1%

Abstract

School financial management or financial School Operational Assistance is carried out directly by the school, but is guided and supervised by the education office. The authorized school, called School Based Management, manages school finances based on BOS technical guidelines and technical guidelines from the city BOS manager. Financial management is carried out through the stages of planning, realization and reporting. The smooth management of school finances depends on good management, starting from the decision maker to the lowest level, namely the school. The smoothness of financial management has an impact on other fields in the administration of education.
