This study aims to describe students' difficulties in solving the problem solving mathematic problem and its causal factors. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research is the students of class VII MTsN 12 Pesisir Selatan located in Ranah Pesisir subdistrict with the sample chosen by purposive sampling. Data obtained through tests, interviews and observations. Data validated by triangulation method. The data analysis framework is reviewed from the problem solving steps of understanding problem, problem solving strategy and problem solving result and interpretation of problem solving result (conclusion). Data analysis techniques used in this study is the percentage and data analysis techniques according to Milles and Hubermen for the analysis of difficulty and factors causing the difficulty.The results of data analysis show that, first difficulties experienced by students in understanding the problem that is identifying what is known and asked and make problems in symbol or mathematical model. Second, the students have difficulties in making the settlement strategy because they can not relate the concept to the problem or the ability of the students' mathematical connection is still weak. Third, students have difficulty in calculating the settlement because of difficulties in understanding the concept. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan kebiasaan membaca terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan eksposisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Limau. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen faktorial 2x2. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, keterampilan menulis karangan eksposisi siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Kedua, keterampilan menulis karangan eksposisi siswa yang memiliki kebiasaan membaca tinggi yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik daripada yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Ketiga,keterampilan menulis karangan eksposisi siswa yang memiliki kebiasaan membaca rendah yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik daripada yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Keempat, terdapat interaksi antara kebiasaan membaca dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam mempengaruhi keterampilan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Limau.

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher professional competence, work motivation and work discipline both individually and jointly on teacher performance at Budi Mulia Padang IT Middle School. The subjects of this study were all teachers at Budi Mulia Padang Junior High School 32 people. This study includes ex-post facto research. Data retrieval method uses a Likert scale model questionnaire for variable Teacher Professional Competence, Work Motivation and Work Discipline, while the Teacher Performance variable uses a questionnaire method, and documentation from the Principal. Data analysis techniques used to test hypotheses are regression analysis techniques. The results showed that (1) there was a significant influence of the teacher's professional competence on teacher performance at Budi Mulia Padang Junior High School as evidenced by Fcount Ftable (17,141> 4,22); the contribution of work discipline to the teacher's performance is 39.73%; (4) there is a significant influence of teacher professional competence, work motivation and work discipline together on the performance of teachers in Budi Mulia Padang Junior High School as evidenced by: Fcount> Ftable (5,832> 3,01); the contribution of teachers' professional competence, work motivation and work discipline together on teacher performance is 42.16%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahuipengaruh pembelajaran outdoor terhadap sikapkepedulian terhadap lingkungan bagi mahasiswa S1 PendidikanGeografi STKIP Ahlussunah Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh suatu perlakuan pendidikan terhadap sikap dan perilaku mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah diberi tindakan. Berdasarkan uji homogenitas kemampuan kognitif peserta didik didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa karakter subjek penelitian homogen jadi penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dapat dilakukan dengan metode random. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan pembelajaran outdoor dapat meningkatkan sikap kepedulian mereka terhadap lingkungan, hal ini ditandai dengan hasil uji beda antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang menunjukkan beda yang signifikan. Pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan di luar kelas (outdoor) sangat mendukung khususnya pada materi pembelajaran lingkungan hidup, karena memiliki nilai pendorong yang memotivasi belajar peserta didik, Sebab itu dengan penggunaan setting alam terbuka sebagai sarana kelas telah memberikan dukungan terhadap proses belajar secara menyeluruh dan menambah aspek kegembiraan serta kesenangan bagi para peserta didik dalam pembelajarannya.

This study started from the low quality of education, especially in SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya District Sungai Bungkal Sungai Penuh River. The purpose of this research is to know the application of principal clinical supervision at SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya Kecamatan Sungai Bungkal to improve teacher quality in learning process Year 2016/2017.The subjects in this study were Teachers SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya Kecamatan Sungai Bungkal which is where the researcher served as head of school year 2016/2017. Action is implemented in 3 cycles. Activity is carried out in even semester of academic year 2016/2017. Duration of 6 weeks effective study conducted from 5 September to 17 October 2016. In the implementation of the action, the design is done in 3 cycles that include; (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. In the data collection techniques used are to use observations and questionnaires. Based on the results of the above research, improving the quality of teachers in the learning process, through the guidance of clinical supervision is very good result. This was apparent at the first meeting of the 11 teachers who were present at the time of the study; 67.73% increased to 71.27% and in cycle 3 increased to 75.91%. Based on the Ministerial Regulation No. 12 of 2007 on the competence of teachers and principals, and can make school work plans, and can organize schools towards the desired changes reach 85% achievement, then the clinical supervision is said to be effective. Thus the hypothesis proposed above is acceptable.

This study aims to find out and obtain information about the application of the consept of geography learning models that will form students' disaster alert characters in STKIP Pesisir Selatan by conducting meta-plan analysis and bayes analysis. This Study is descriptive qualitative using observation, interviews, and documentation in data collection. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion that has been done before, it can be concluded that the Student Empowerment Strategy of South Coast STKIP In Forming Disaster Alert Character. The results of the analysis using the Bayes method there are four policy priorities that can be applied for development are 1) Students form a disaster alert group or forum with a value of 4,545 2) related socialization to disaster disaster by lecturer staff with a value of 4,524 3) emergency response training for disaster preparedness with value of 4,333 4) making direction directions to tsunami shelters and evacuation routes in several locations with a value of 4,222

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena ada beberapa tujuan pembelajaran matematika yang belum tercapai salah satunya kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Salah satu faktor kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis, siswa diantaranya adalah hanya mendengarkan penjelasan guru, kemudian mencatat dan menyelesaikan soal latihan. Hal ini, mengakibatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa terbatas pada informasi yang diberikan guru. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan menerapkan Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas XI IPS MAN 4 Pasaman Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Eksperimen semu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling sehingga yang terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 da\n sebagai kelas kontrol adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2. Analisis Data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t dengan taraf diperoleh thitung= dan ttabel = 1,669 sehingga Hal ini berarti tolak dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas XIIPSMAN 4 Pasaman Barat

His study originated from lack of enthusiasm following learning, less satisfactory learning outcomes, most students get grades below the minimum learning mastery standard. This study aims To improve learning outcomes about the solar system in grade 6 students SDN 025 / XI GedangVillage through the implementation of demonstration methods using audiovisual media. Subjects in this study were students of grade 6 SDN 025 / XI Desa Gedang with the material of Solar System. The implementation of theimprovement consists of two cycles where each cycle is held twice. Place of Action Class Action research that is at SDN 025 / XI Gedang Village Sungai Penuh Full River City. In each cycle is divided into four stages, namely: Planning, Implementation of action, Observation and Evaluation, and Reflection. The data required in this study were obtained through observationof learning processing by demonstration method, observation of student andteacher activity, and formative test. The result of class action research using two cycle pattern, it can test the hypothesis of action proposed in this research. The result shows that in cycle II the classical has reached the completeness of the expected learning result, because the student who get the value of ? 70is only 90% bigger than the percentage of desired completeness thatis equal to 85%. The use of demonstration methods and audio visual mediatailored to the teaching materials can help students to more easily understandthe learning materials presented in appeal using only the lecture method only.

This research began from issues of the low Mathematicabilities students of class IXMTsDarussalam.This research is aimed to reveal the effect of Cooperatif modelswith Hands On Mathematic in mathematicstudents ability started from high, averageand lowof students in influencing early understanding concept ability. This research is a quasi experimental design. The population in this research is all students of class IXMTsN Darussalam Selasa. The sampling technique used is Random Sampling. Samples of this research are the students of class IX.1 as the experimental class and class IX.3 as the control class. The instrument used is a test consists of beginning capabilities test and posttest to see the comunicationmathematicability. Data analysis was performed using t-test.There are some conclusions that can be acquired based on the results of research and discussion. First, the students which use contextuallearning type with hands on mathematics technic have higher comunicationmathematic abilitythan students that use the conventional learning. Second, the high,average and low starting students ability which use contextuallearning type with hands on mathematics technic have highercommunication mathematic ability than students that use the conventional learning.

Perkembangan tekhnologi informasi dan komunikasi dengan sendirinya memaksa lembaga pendidikan untuk mampu mengadaptasi baik dalam pengelolaan maupun dalam pembelajaran sehingga terjadi efektifitas dan efisiensi pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pemanfaatan tekhnologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pengelolaan sekolah di SMA 1 Sumenep dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan tekhnologi informasi dan komunikasi dapat dikelompokkan menjadi dua yaitu aplikasi yang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah provinsi serta aplikasi yang dikembangkan sendiri oleh sekolah. Hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pemanfaatan tekhnologi informasi dan komunikasi adalah hambatan pada kurangnya jumlah personel pengelolan tekhnologi serta terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana.
