Abstract

Education is a process that occurs between students and teachers, has a very crucial function and acts as a valuable resource in human life. To achieve a higher quality of education. it requires teaching staff who have high skills and levels of professionalism in their respective fields. In general, aspects of educational supervision are divided into two main categories, namely academic supervision and administrative supervision. Academic supervision is related to development efforts aimed at improving the quality of teaching in the classroom, with a primary focus on teacher behavior while teaching and the interactions that occur during the educational process. This study aims to understand the scope and methods applied in educational supervision. The methodology used in this study is qualitative research. This type of research is a literature study that aims to collect information from various books or existing sources. It can be said that the scope of supervision is in the fields of student affairs, infrastructure, administration, student affairs, and also in the field of finance. Then the approach used by the supervisor is a direct approach, an indirect approach. and a collaborative approach between the direct and indirect approaches. With a deep understanding of the scope and methods of supervision in educational institutions, institutions can be directed to achieve better educational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the effectiveness of the word-matching game in enhancing students’ vocabulary mastery within the context of language learning, focusing on its implementation in both the Lampung and Indonesian languages. Two primary articles served as the basis for comparison: the study by Ika Tazkiah et al. (2025), which examined the impact of the word-matching game on elementary students’ Indonesian vocabulary acquisition, and an article from J-Simbol: Jurnal Magister Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia that explored a similar approach in the context of a regional language. The analysis employed a comparative qualitative method using content analysis and thematic analysis of the methodology, findings, and novelty of both studies, supported by related literature such as Ramadhania & Yamin (2022), Muliana & Warmansyah (2022), and Utami & Bashofi (2023). The results indicate that the word-matching game has a significant effect on improving students’ vocabulary mastery, primarily due to its interactive nature, which promotes engagement and retention of new words. However, the main distinction lies in the linguistic and media contexts: Tazkiah’s study utilized the web-based Wordwall platform, while the local Lampung study emphasized cultural visualization through traditional symbols.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of affixation in enriching the vocabulary of the Lampung language through an analysis of the children's literary work Anak Liman Sai Murah Hati by Nia Kartika Sari (2024). This study was motivated by the decline in the use of the Lampung language among the younger generation, which necessitates efforts to preserve regional languages through attractive and educational media such as children's stories. This study seeks to understand how the process of affixation contributes to the formation of new words and grammatical meanings that enrich the Lampung lexicon. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with text analysis methods. Data were obtained from bilingual children's story texts and explained through the stages of identification, classification, and interpretation of affixation forms, including prefixes, suffixes, and confixes. Data validity was maintained through triangulation analysis of theory and peer discussion to ensure accurate and contextual results. The results of the study show that the process of affixation in the Lampung language includes the use of prefixes (bu-, be-, te-, di-, je-), suffixes (-ni, -ku, -lah, -an), and confixes (ke-…-an, nge-…-ki, ku-…-ki). Each affix has a grammatical function while also strengthening the expressive and aesthetic value of literary texts. Affixation plays an important role in creating word form variations and enriching vocabulary relevant to the cultural context and the world of children.

Abstract

Objective: Abstract This study aims to uncover the moral values and forms of local wisdom contained in Pepaccur, a form of oral literature of the Lampung people that serves as a medium for conveying advice, communication, and social ethical guidelines. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a sociology of literature approach, this study examines several Pepaccur texts obtained through documentation and interviews with cultural practitioners. The analysis focused on identifying the moral values emerging in these oral expressions and their relationship to the Lampungnese philosophy of life, Piil Pesenggiri. The results reveal that Pepaccur encompasses moral values of piety to God, politeness, social solidarity, and wisdom in social interactions. These values reflect elements of local wisdom such as nemui nyimah (love), nengah nyappur (grace), sakai (grace), and juluk adek (dear sister), which serve as ethical guidelines for the Lampung people in maintaining social harmony and order. Thus, Pepaccur is not only a form of oral art but also a cultural representation that serves to preserve and transmit moral values between generations

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relevance and implementation of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System (UU Sisdiknas) within the context of globalization in Islamic education in Indonesia. Using a critical literature review approach, this research analyzes national and international publications from the last five years to evaluate the relationship between national education policies and global demands. The findings reveal that globalization has significantly influenced the direction of Islamic education policies, particularly in adapting to technological, economic, and socio-cultural developments. Although the UU Sisdiknas provides a legal framework for integrating Islamic education into the national education system, its implementation still faces several challenges, such as the lack of alignment between Islamic spiritual values and global competencies, weak institutional coordination, and limited digital readiness. Therefore, the development of Islamic education policies should be directed toward achieving a balance between spirituality and modernity by emphasizing curriculum innovation, teacher professionalism, and adaptive governance so that Islamic education can remain competitive while preserving its foundational Islamic values.

Abstract

This research discusses learning leadership and evaluative thinking which are important concepts and enable educational leaders to direct learning innovations based on reflection, data, and spiritual values. In the perspective of the Qur'an, evaluation does not only mean assessing learning outcomes, but also includes muhasabah (self-introspection), hikmah (wisdom), and islah (continuous improvement). This study aims to analyze the relevance of learning leadership and evaluative thinking to the transformation of Qur'anic education which is oriented towards the formation of reflective, critical, and moral human beings. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research method that combines analysis of Qur'anic verses, classical and contemporary interpretations, and the results of scientific research in the field of Islamic education. The results of the study show that learning leadership is rooted in the Qur'anic values about the virtues of knowledge and faith (QS. Al-Mujadalah: 11), where the learning leader not only manages, but also becomes a facilitator and role model in the lifelong learning process. While evaluative thinking has a strong theological foundation in verses such as QS. Al-Hasyr: 18 on reflection on charity, QS. An-Nahl: 125 on wisdom, and QS. Thaha: 114 about the process of continuous learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the experiences of students, teachers, and researchers at the Darul Ulum Batang Islamic Boarding School. Jet Fighter, as part of the Tajweed textbook, is a learning tool for students. However, it faces challenges in the learning process. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the main difficulties faced by students include a lack of accuracy in pronouncing letters according to the letter's pronunciation, limited facilities and infrastructure, and low use of Rosm Uthmani. The results of the study are: (1) the implementation of the Jet Fighter method in Tajweed learning, implemented in class 1 Wostho A and B (male and female), the Quran recitation process took place from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM with the teacher in the mosque foyer. (2) supporting and inhibiting factors after using the Jet Fighter method in improving understanding of Tajweed, including human resources (HR) and facilities and infrastructure to support the Jet Fighter method. (3) The impact of implementing the jet fighter method on learning the science of tajwid, namely the results felt by the students in the delivery of material, practice, and carefulness in learning.

Abstract

The growing intensity of global competition requires organizations to implement strategic human resource (HR) planning to ensure sustainability and strengthen competitiveness. Workforce forecasting and job analysis are essential steps to guarantee the availability of employees who meet organizational needs in both quantity and quality. This study aims to examine the role of workforce forecasting and job analysis as the foundation of effective HR planning.This research applies a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data were obtained from books, scientific articles, and previous studies, then analyzed descriptively and analytically to provide comprehensive conceptual insights.The findings indicate that forecasting techniques such as Delphi, extrapolation, indexation, and statistical analysis help organizations anticipate risks of understaffing or overstaffing. Meanwhile, job analysis serves as a foundation for preparing job descriptions, job specifications, and job evaluations, which are crucial for recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and career development. The integration of workforce forecasting and job analysis provides a clear direction for HR planning, making it more efficient, measurable, and sustainable. Thus, the availability of competent and well-planned HR is a key determinant for organizations to adapt to changes and maintain long-term competitiveness.

Abstract

Language plays a crucial role in developing children's social skills from an early age. The family is the first and most influential environment for language acquisition and the development of children's pragmatic abilities. This study aims to describe the forms and functions of assertive speech acts used by children in family interactions and to understand the factors influencing their use. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method with a discourse analysis approach. Data were obtained through direct observation, recordings of natural conversations between children and their families, and informal interviews with family members. The analysis was based on the assertive speech act theory proposed by Searle (1979). The results show that children use assertive speech acts in various forms, such as expressing opinions, providing information directly, and politely refusing requests. These utterances reflect children's ability to convey thoughts, feelings, and facts clearly and logically. The primary factor influencing the use of assertive speech acts is open and supportive family communication patterns. Therefore, the family environment plays a crucial role in shaping children's assertive language skills.

Abstract

This study explores kias, a form of oral literature that is part of the traditional oral heritage of the Lampung Sai Batin community, which holds significant cultural, moral, and educational value. Kias is a type of traditional poetic expression that conveys messages of advice, religious teachings, and life values, typically delivered orally during various customary events such as weddings, traditional dances, and social gatherings. However, its use is increasingly marginalized, particularly among the younger generation. The aim of this research is to examine the structure, functions, and potential of kias as a medium for cultural preservation and character education in schools. The findings reveal that kias has a distinctive stanza structure rich in meaning and can be integrated into Lampung language education through interactive and contextual methods. Moreover, kias proves effective in reinforcing moral values, language skills, and cultural identity. Its application in education also encourages students to explore culture, conduct mini-research projects, and engage in creative expression. Therefore, kias serves not only as a preserved cultural heritage but also as a strategic tool in shaping character and fostering young people's appreciation for their local culture.
