Abstract

There are many learning strategies in the current era. The right strategy will also provide good results. Currently, the learning strategy that is often applied is differentiation. Differentiated learning strategies generally adjust the content, process, and learning products according to the readiness, interests, and learning profiles of students. The purpose of this study was to examine the application of differentiated learning strategies in heterogeneous classes at SMAS ITP Tarjun. Subjects were selected purposively, including principals, teachers, and students. Data analysis was carried out thematically to reveal patterns of strategies, challenges, and their impact on the quality of learning. The results of the study showed that teachers implemented learning differentiation according to student needs with the support of the principal's transformational leadership through routine coaching and developing a reflective culture of teachers to build the spirit of the independent curriculum. Despite the obstacles, teachers continued to try to develop strategies to increase student motivation and create an inclusive and quality learning environment.

Abstract

PJBL plays a role in the learning process in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and provides recommendations for the development of more effective learning strategies, in accordance with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile. PBL not only deepens understanding of concepts, but also functions to train critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills in a practical and contextual way. This study aims to explore the extent to which a project-focused teaching model (Project-Based Learning/PjBL) can improve 21st-century skills, especially in the aspects of creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. The approach used is a literature study by analyzing scientific works from both national and international journals. The results of the study show that the application of the PjBL model significantly increases creativity, problem-solving skills, and student learning outcomes in thematic learning. In addition, PjBL provides a contextual and real-life learning experience. This study recommends the implementation of PjBL as an innovative learning strategy at the elementary level in order to develop student competencies that are able to adapt to the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of inclusive education in junior high schools without the presence of Special Assistance Teachers (GPK), as well as to identify strategies for enhancing the learning process for students with special needs (ABK) in inclusive classrooms. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis in three inclusive schools in Pekanbaru. Participants included school principals, classroom teachers, special education teachers, and parents of students with special needs. The findings reveal that inclusive education can still be effectively implemented without GPKs, provided that teachers receive sufficient training through programs such as In-House Training (IHT) and collaborate with external professionals. However, challenges remain, including rigid curricula, limited teacher preparedness, and inadequate teaching resources. The novelty of this research lies in its exploration of innovative inclusion management strategies based on internal teacher training and interdisciplinary collaboration, offering practical alternatives for resource-limited inclusive schools. These insights are expected to inform the development of more adaptive and sustainable inclusive education policies and practices.

Abstract

This study aims to answer these questions through a systematic analysis of empirical literature published in the period 2015โ€“2025. Given the importance of evidence-based policies, this study is expected to provide comprehensive insights into the effectiveness of BOS Funds and become a basis for more targeted and equitable education policy reforms. Using a systematic literature review method, this article examines seven main sources that include quantitative, qualitative, and mixed approaches. The focus of the study is directed at quality indicators such as the learning process, facilities and infrastructure, and education governance. The results of the study indicate that BOS Funds generally contribute to improving the quality of the teaching and learning process and education facilities. However, there are still significant gaps in the effectiveness of implementation, especially between developed regions and 3T (disadvantaged, outermost, and frontier) regions, as well as weak accountability and reporting systems for the use of funds. This study recommends reformulating BOS policies based on local needs and improving the monitoring system through digitalization. This article is expected to contribute to the formulation of evidence-based policies for increasing basic education funding in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the practices of inclusive education financing based on national and international literature, with a focus on how funding systems can be responsive to the needs of children with special needs (ABK) and support the development of a more equitable and inclusive education system. The study employs a literature review approach using a descriptive-qualitative method. Sources analyzed include scholarly journals, national policy documents such as UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 and Permendiknas No. 70 Tahun 2009, as well as reports from international institutions. Content analysis techniques were used to explore financing models, implementation challenges, and best practices in inclusive education. The review reveals that countries like Australia and Finland have adopted funding models based on individual student needs and tiered support systems. In Indonesia, inclusive education financing heavily relies on the General Operational Assistance Fund (Dana BOS), which does not adequately account for the specific needs of ABK. Additional challenges include limited teacher training, disparities in regional funding allocations, and the absence of technical regulations for inclusive spending. This article highlights the importance of responsive, flexible, and needs-based funding approaches as a foundation for inclusive education reform.

Abstract

The success rate of BOS fund implementation over the past three years shows great potential to continue to drive innovation in education management. Digital technology, with its various benefits, not only increases efficiency but also ensures equity in education across regions. This study analyzes the application of digital technology in education fund management in Indonesia, focusing on the allocation of School Operational Assistance (BOS) and its impact on efficiency, transparency, and equitable access to education. Data were collected through literature studies, government policy analysis, and interviews with school principals and financial staff in various regions. The results of the study show that the use of digital systems accelerates financial administration and supervision, and supports the optimization of fund allocation, especially in the 3T regions. The implications of this study are the need for improved digital infrastructure and ongoing training to expand the benefits of technology in education fund management nationally.

Abstract

The School Operational Assistance (BOS) program is a strategic policy of the Indonesian government aimed at supporting the operational financing of basic education and ensuring equitable and inclusive access to quality education. However, the utilization of BOS funds at the school level has often not been fully effective in enhancing the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze strategies for optimizing the use of BOS funds through a literature review of 30 national and international academic journals published between 2021 and 2025. The method employed is a systematic literature review, focusing on scholarly documents that meet inclusion criteria based on topic relevance, publication year, and academic credibility. The findings indicate that while BOS has significantly contributed to the sustainability of basic education services, its use remains largely administrative and insufficiently focused on quality improvement efforts such as teacher development, literacy and numeracy programs, and inclusive education initiatives. Challenges in BOS implementation include limited managerial capacity at schools, delays in disbursement, low community involvement, and inflexible policy guidelines. Therefore, reforms are needed in planning, supervision, and technical guidance to make BOS more adaptive to local needs and quality-oriented.

Abstract

This study aims to examine transparency in the management of Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) in Indonesia, which is considered as one of the determining factors for the success of the program. Transparency in the management of BOS funds can increase public and stakeholder trust, and support improvements in the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore the practice of transparency in the management of BOS funds in several schools. Data were collected through interviews with school principals, treasurers, school committee members, and analysis of financial report documents. The results of the study indicate that the publication of financial reports openly increases public trust, but challenges related to infrastructure and access to technology in certain areas need to be addressed. In addition, cooperation between the government, schools, and the community is essential to ensure effective use of funds and equal distribution of education quality. This study concludes that transparency in the management of BOS funds has a significant role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Jakarta Smart Card (KIP) program in increasing access to education and reducing dropout rates in Indonesia. A literature study and document review approach was used to analyze the program's coverage, aid distribution, and impact on school participation rates. The results show that KIP has made a positive contribution, but uneven distribution and delays in disbursement of funds hamper its effectiveness, especially in remote areas. Administrative constraints and low digital literacy are also major challenges. Recommendations focus on strengthening the data collection system, technological innovation, and improving cross-sector coordination to support the sustainability of the program. By evaluating these obstacles, it is hoped that more targeted solutions can be found. This study provides important input for improving national education policy. Increasing the effectiveness of the KIP program not only contributes to access to education but also to human resource development. This study is expected to be a reference for improving education policy and implementing similar programs in the future.
