Abstract

Based on the observations that researchers have done in SDN 20 Sungai Limau, it was found that teachers' ability in applying learning models is still low. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about the models of instruction applied by the teacher. This study is a school action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, obeservation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 10 teachers of SDN 20 Sungai Limau. The data were collected using obeservation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. The results showed that the Workshop can improve the ability of teachers in using learning models In SDN 20 Sungai Limau. This is evidenced by the workshop can improve the ability of teachers in using learning models In SDN 20 Sungai Limau from cycle I to cycle II. The average ability of teachers in applying learning models in cycle I is 58.5 with less category, In cycle II is 86.17 Good. Keywords: Workshop, learning models

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the relevance of the graduate education is shown through job profiles (occupations and occupations), job relevance with educational background, the benefits of courses programmed in the work, graduate advice for graduate competency improvement. In addition, the relevance of education is also demonstrated through the opinions of graduate users on graduate user satisfaction, graduate competence and graduate suggestions for graduate competency improvement. The result, the existence of job suitability in the hope that when college is also a matter of job satisfaction some feel satisfied with the work that is now being undertaken. The main consideration of alumni in work is not solely because salary factor is an interesting finding from this research. This can be seen in the graduates who become teachers (education sector) with a minimum salary, but in accordance with the field of science. In general, alumni income ranges from one million to three million per month. This is because they work to follow the minimum wage of district / city (UMK) which ranges from Rp. 1,000,000 - Rp. 3,000,000, although many are still under one million rupiah. Some alumni have worked before graduation, although in general IAIN alumni of Purwokerto year 2014-2016 work with 3 months waiting period. They are in the education sector.

Abstract

An observational study of teachers at SMPN 36 Purworejo Central Java has been conducted. The purpose of this supervision observation is to evaluate teachers based on pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competence. Academic supervision activities include several stages, namely: preparation of academic supervision, supervision implementation, supervision evaluation, and follow-up supervision. Of the 7 samples of supervised teachers, the average score of pedagogic competence was 91.7%, the average personality competence was 94.4%, the average of social competence was 87.5%, and the average professional competence was 94.4 %. Meanwhile, if viewed individually, got the percentage of teacher acquisition for all competence for teacher A equal to 82,14%, teacher B, C and D get value equal to 87,5%, teacher E equal to 100% and teacher F have value 96,43% . From the results of supervision analysis, it was found that almost all teachers get good results with an average value of 3.5 or average achievement score of all teachers supervised is 90.18%. However, many teachers still have weaknesses in the management of learning both in the search for methods and learning tools. Follow-up from the academic supervision results include the need for a workshop on making learning media, need to hold Traning Motivation for teachers, as well as the need for teachers to be sent to the MGMP Kabupaten activities for specific training methods or learning strategies.

Abstract

Geography teaching essentially develops students' ability to recognize and understand natural phenomena in relation to spatial and territorial. When learning georafi students sometimes feel bored and lazy to learn the theory because it is considered difficult and difficult to understand so participate in Field Work Lecture (KKL). Field Work Lectures function applying theory in the classroom with in the field so it will affect the learning achievement and effectiveness of learning. The method used is qualitative method. The subjects of this study are students who will conduct workshops lapanga on cartography courses, cartographic pratik, remote sensing and interpretation of aerial photography. Data analysis begins with an interview to the subject of research on Field Work Lecture, while for the interest of learning data used tabulation then depicted in graph. Referral The development of learning field work field in education majors Geography Education Geography STKIP Pesisir Selatan is in accordance with field teaching approaches field work put forward by Rice and Bullman. Implementation of Field Work Lectures in Geography Education STKIP Pesisir Selatan consists of preparatory, implementation, and post-field work. Field work lectures are also able to increase student interest in geography learning and some development for field college learning so that students' interest in learning and willingness is higher among them 1) Location compatibility with KKL themes 2) Present prominent symptoms 3) Locations easy to reach 4) Safe to be visited 5) Relatively low cost to come 6) Availability of preliminary data about the location 7) Composition of clear committee and event

Abstract

Discipline must be established within a school organization. Without the support of good teacher discipline, it is difficult for schools to realize their goals. So, discipline is the key to a school's success in achieving its goals. Lack of teacher discipline in SMP Negeri 5 percy sir, because there are still many teachers who do not understand the rules that exist in school, as there are many teachers who arrived late, and late into the classroom, there are still many teachers who leave the time the subject takes place. This research uses quantitative approach with correlation. Correlational research is intended to determine whether there is a relationship between two variables. Population amount in this study as many as 55 respondents. While the sample amounted to 48 respondents. The result of this research are: 1) the calculation result of regression of Y over X shows F arithmetic regression obtained 10,740 while price Ftabel with dk pembilang 1 and dk denominator 46 at significance level α = 0,05 is 4,042. Apparently the price of F arithmetic (10,740) is greater than the price of F table (4,042) it can be concluded that the regression coefficient of Y over X means at the significance level α = 0.05. This means that the regression direction coefficient Ŷ = 44,095 + 0,330 X so it can be concluded there is relationship between organizational culture with teacher work discipline.

Abstract

Results of learning and motivation of learners in learning English is not entirely satisfactory. One of the causes is developed and utilized learning methods provided by educators. This study aims to investigate the learning outcomes and learner motivation, that uses learning methods word grouping activities. This study is an experimental research conducted at Senior High School Negeri 24 Kerinci model 2x2 factorial design research. The study population were students of class VII with a sample consisting of two classes which serves as the control class and experimental class with the number of each learner is 20 people. In this study the data collected through questionnaires learning motivation and achievement test. Data analysis technique used is the t-test and anova. The results showed that: 1) Using t-test, study results showed that the Group of learners who are learning method using word grouping activities better compared to the results of a study group of learners who use conventional learning methods. 2) Using t-test, there is a significant difference between the results of the learning motivation of students of higher learning method using word grouping activities with participants who use conventional learning methods. 3) Using t-test, there is a significant difference between the results of the study, low motivation of learners use learning methods of word grouping activities with learners who use conventional learning methods. 4) There was no interaction between the methods of learning and learning motivation towards learning outcomes after a test of anova.

Abstract

The success of the learning objectives is determined by many factors including the teacher factor in implementing the teaching and learning process, because teachers can directly influence, foster and improve the intelligence and skills of learners. To overcome the above problems and to achieve the goal of education maximally, the role of teachers is very important and it is expected that teachers have a good method of teaching and able to choose the right method of learning and One of the appropriate learning model on learning Indonesian is the method of pembelajaran tanya jawab.Permasalahan which wanted to be studied in this research is: Whether through the use of question and answer learning method can improve learning outcomes Indonesian learner Class IV SDN 35 Sungai Limau The purpose of this action research is to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesia through the use of question and answer learning methods in participants educated SDN 35 Sungai Limau. This study used a classroom action research of two rounds. Each round consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation, reflection. The target of this research is students of Class IV SDN 35 Sungai Limau. The data obtained are quantitative and qualitative data. From the analysis of question and answer learning method has positive impact in improving learners 'learning result which is marked by the improvement of students' learning mastery in every cycle, that is Pre cycle (58.14%), cycle I (72.09% ), cycle II (97.67%). The conclusion of this research is the method of question and answer learning has a positive influence, that is can improve learners' learning outcomes that are indicated by the average answers of learners that states that learners are interested and interested in the method of question and answer learning so that they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

Achievement or not the purpose of learning is determined by many factors such as teachers in implementing the process of teaching and learning, because teachers can directly influence, foster and improve students' intelligence and skills. To overcome the above problems and to achieve the goal of education maximally, the role of teachers is very important and expected teachers to have a good method of teaching and able to choose the appropriate learning methods and in accordance with the concepts of subjects to be delivered. One of the proper learning model in science learning is Snowball Throwing learning model. Problems to be studied in this research are: Is it through the use of Snowball Throwing learning model to improve the results of science fantasy Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau? The purpose of this action research is to improve the learning outcomes of IPA Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau through the Snowball Throwing learning model. This study used a classroom action research of two rounds. Each round consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation, reflection. Target of this research is student of Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau. The data obtained are quantitative and qualitative data. From the analysis result of IPA learning model has positive impact in improving student learning outcomes marked by the improvement of students' learning mastery in every cycle, that is cycle I 52.63%, and cycle II 94.37%. The conclusion of this research is the Snowball Throwing learning model has a positive influence, that is to improve student learning outcomes which is indicated by the average of students' answers stating that students are interested and interested in the learning model of Snowball Throwing so that they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and obtain information about to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of Bahasa Indonesia through cooperative learning type model of talking stick in Class I SDN 35 Sungai Limau. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, obeservation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 6 students of Class I SDN 35 Sungai Limau. The data were collected using observation sheet and daily test. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion that have been put forward, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model type of talking stick can improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects in SDN 35 Sungai Limau. Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcomes in cycle I was 69.55 (enough) increased to 84.09 (good) with an increase of 14.55

Abstract

This study aims to describe and obtain information about the improvement of professional competence of teachers in preparing classroom action research reports through CLCK development model (Example, Exercise, Control, Self Employment) based mentoring in SMAN 10 Padang. This research is a school action research with research procedure including planning, action, obeservasi and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 13 teachers of SMAN 10 Padang. Research data was collected using obeservation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. The results showed that mentoring model based on CLCK can improve teacher ability in preparing class action research report in SMAN 10 Padang. Analysis on the quality of PTK reports made by teachers indicates that the professional competence of teachers in preparing classroom action research reports increases from cycle I to cycle II. Teacher professional competence in preparing class action research report on cycle I is 77,69 (enough) increase to 84,69 (good) in cycle II with increase of equal to 7.00 points.
