Abstract

Based on the observations that researchers have made to the Teachers at Batang Gasan Elementary School 14, it was found that the teacher's skills in implementing Active, Creative, Effective and Fun (PAKEM) learning were still low. The purpose of this study was to improve teacher skills in the application of PAKEM through training and guidance activities (LATBIM) in Batang Gasan Elementary School 14. This research is a school action research. The research procedure in this study includes planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 6 Batang Gasan Elementary School Teachers. Research data was collected using observation sheets. Data is analyzed using percentages. The results showed that Training and Guidance Activities could improve Teacher Skills in the application of active, Creative, Effective and Fun (PAKEM) learning in Batang Gasan Elementary School 14. This is evidenced by an increase in the ability of teachers in the application of Active, Creative, Effective and Fun (PAKEM) learning from cycle I to cycle II. The average ability of teacher skills in the application of PAKEM learning in the first cycle was 49.66 in the Less category and in the second cycle was 82.33 in the good category

Abstract

Based on observations on the ability of the teacher of SDN 28 Simpang in making learning media in the phenomenon found that the ability of teachers to make learning media is still low. The purpose of this study was to describe and obtain information about improving the ability of teachers to make learning media through Discussion-Based Group Supervision Techniques at Simpang SDN 28. This research is a school action research. The research procedure in this study includes planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 5 teachers at SDN 28 Simpang. Research data was collected using an observation sheet. Data is analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that Through Discussion-Based Group Supervision Techniques can improve the ability of teachers in making learning media at SDN 28 Simpang. Analysis of the quality of learning media (teaching materials and slide presentations) made by the teacher shows that the teacher's ability to make learning media increases from cycle I to cycle II. The ability of teachers to make learning media in cycle I is 79.00 (enough) to increase to 84.40 (good) in cycle II.

Abstract

Learning interest is one of the factors that are important for student success in learning. However, the learning interest of the sixth grade students of SDN 24 Barung-Barung Belanti in mathematics was found to be still low. The purpose of this study was to describe and obtain information about increasing student learning interest in mathematics subjects through Active Learning Strategy Type of Index Card Match Type in Class VI SDN 24 Barung-Barung Belanti Ujung Gading. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedure in this study includes planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consisted of two cycles with four meetings. Research data was collected using a test sheet. Data is analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been stated, it can be concluded that the Active Learning Strategy Type Index Card Match Type can increase students' learning interest in mathematics in Class VI SDN 24 Barung-Barung Belanti. Student learning interest in cycle I was 69.67, increasing to 84.36.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the conditions in the form of: (a) There are quite a number of teachers at SD Negeri 44 Taratak (25%) who have less work motivation, measured by: (1) Teacher's pleasure in doing work, (2) Teacher's work enthusiasm in developing and carry out educational programs or in carrying out learning tasks and other tasks; (3) Alignment of teacher's work towards work standards, (4) Teacher's fighting spirit in achieving educational goals in schools, (5) Consistency of teacher's work when without supervision, and (6) Expression of teacher's happiness when completing assignments and educational commitments at school; (b) The emergence of adverse effects in the form of a lack of success in the goals of education in schools. Tujaun from the implementation of this study is to find out: (1) Steps to implement academic supervision by the principal to teachers to improve teacher work motivation at SD Negeri 44 Taratak, and (2) The magnitude of increasing teacher work motivation after academic supervision is developed by the head school. This research is a school action research which is analyzed with a qualitative approach. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 44 Taratak in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year for 5 months. The results of the research are: Implementation of academic supervision in order to improve the work motivation of teachers is done by: (1) Solutions to the problems of teachers in carrying out the learning process and in completing the administration of learning. Problems experienced by teachers are considered as factors that inhibit the emergence of high work motivation so that it must be resolved first; (2) Direct motivation, which is carried out by (a) Showing positive facts that have been achieved by the teacher; (b) Providing Challenges for High Standards of Excellence; (c) Provide expectations for promotion of teacher promotion; (d) Shows the score of the teacher's work achievement; (e) Conveying sanctions that might be applied to the teacher; (f) Presenting school supervisors and heads of local education offices; (g) Creating a friendly atmosphere; (h) Make a joint observation instrument and list of sanctions; (i) Showing the results of observation and open discussion; (j) Giving direct appreciation for the teacher's achievements; (3) The implementation of academic supervision has proven to be able to increase the work motivation of teachers.

Abstract

Each process must always include three main activities: planning, implementation and evaluation. Similarly, what happens with the teaching and learning process at school. A teacher is required to plan, implement and evaluate learning. The learning planning process that must be carried out by a teacher includes the main activities are 1) Making an annual program 2) Making a syllabus 3) Making a semester program 4) Making a learning plan 5) And making a repeat program /evaluation. Of the five elements mentioned above, the syllabus and RPP are the minimum preparation for a teacher when they want to teach. Based on the results of the analysis in the 2017/2018 school year at SDN 09 Koto Pulai, there were problems with the low number of teachers making lesson plans especially the preparation of syllabus and RPP. To examine the weak performance of teachers in this regard, a study was conducted to see the extent to which the principal's academic supervision step could improve teacher competency in the preparation of the syllabus and the Learning Implementation Plan.

Abstract

Adjustment requires the ability of adolescents to live and socialize naturally to their environment, so that adolescents feel satisfied with themselves and also the environment. Adolescents with poor self-adjustment, their psychiatric life is characterized by emotional distress or anxiety that accompanies guilt, anxiety, dissatisfaction with what has been obtained, and complaints about what they experience. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the adjustment to the school environment in students of Class X IA.1 can be improved through group guidance services. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedures in this research include planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. Subek in the study were students of Class X IA.1 SMAN 1 Kinali amounted to 32 students. In the result of cycle 1, the average result obtained is 61,03% from all students have mean of positive adjustment in medium criterion with mean percentage equal to 60,96% and negative self adjustment from whole student show medium criterion with percentage equal to 61.46%. And after given treatment obtained by result of cycle 2 equal to 71,57% from all student have average of positive self adjustment in high criterion with mean percentage 72,28% and negative self adjustment from whole student showed medium criterion with percentage equal to 69, 58%. The results showed an increase in self-adjustment to the school environment on all students at 10.54% after treatment. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase of self adjustment to school environment in the students of Class X IA.1 SMAN 1 Kinali after giving group guidance service.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations that researchers do in the semester of January-August 2017/2016, researchers found the phenomenon that the level of discipline of teachers in collecting learning tools is still low. This is evident from the time the researcher asked the teacher to collect learning tools there are still many teachers who did not collect the requested learning device. There are also teachers who rush to prepare learning tools when the principal or supervisor will supervise the class. Of the six class teachers, if averaged, then only 60%, teachers who complement the learning tools both in the form of syllabus, SK / KD, RPP, prota promes and teaching materials. Meanwhile, 40% of teachers did not collect. This study is a school action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, obeservation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 6 teachers of INS Kayu Tanam high school class who were research class teachers. Research data was collected using obeservation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that the application of reward and punishment system can improve teacher discipline in collecting learning device. This is evidenced from before applied rewards and punishment, the percentage of teachers who collect learning tools only 66.67% with the collect on time only amounted to 22.81%. After applied reward and punishment system, then in cycle I, teacher collecting learning device become 79,65% with percentage which collect on time is 35,79%. After cycle II, the percentage of teachers who collected learning tools became 97.54% with the percentage of teachers who collected on time was 81.05%.

Abstract

Based on the result of study of student of Class X.3 SMAN 1 Kinali in sub physics subject Analyzing the influence of calor to a substance, Analyzing Way of heat transfer and Applying Black Principle in solving everyday problem found that result of student study in physics subject still very low. The average student learning outcomes are still under the KKM. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of Physics through Problem Posing Learning Model in Class X.3 SMAN 1 Kinali. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedures in this research include planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 36 students of Class X.3 SMAN 1 Kinali. The data were collected using observation sheet and daily test. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been raised, it can be concluded that Problem Posing Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of Physics at SMAN 1 Kinali. Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcomes in cycle I was 57.75 (Enough) increased to 84.75 (good) with an increase of 27%.

The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve student learning outcomes in Biology sub Subjects Describe the characteristics Archaebacteria and Eubacteria and its role for life through Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Learning Model in Class X IPA 5 SMA N 1 Pasaman Pasaman Barat Regency. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedures in this research include planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 30 students of Class X IPA 5 SMA N 1 Pasaman. The data were collected using observation sheet and daily test. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been proposed, it can be concluded that Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Learning Model (CIRC) can improve student learning outcomes in Biology sub subjects Describe the characteristics Archaebacteria and Eubacteria and its role for life in SMA N 1 Pasaman. Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcomes in cycle I was 49.36 (Less Good) increased to 83.69 (Good) with an increase of 34.33%.

Abstract

Administrative staff (TU) has an important role in helping to develop the school become more advanced and qualified. The school administrative force serves as a school administration administrator associated with the management of student data, educator data and education personnel, mailing, archives, administration of facilities, and financial administration. TAS also plays an active role in providing administrative services to all interested parties. Therefore it is necessary to improve the competence of administrative staff. The type of research used is action research, ie the researcher attempted to apply an action as an improvement effort to overcome the problems found. Because the research is conducted with class setting, it is called Classroom Action Research This classroom action research is SMA Negeri 1 Susngai Beremas, Kabupaaten Pasaman Barat.In this classroom action research using two data analysis techniques taking into account the type of data collected, namely qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis Qualitative analysis of qualitative data obtained from the results of the instrument pengisina in accordance with the dat in the school.Based on the frame of thought and the results of implementation of leadership actions carried out by two cycles then made conclusions, the level of competence of the school administration determine the success of schools in achieving the established goals.Competency of school administrative staff in managing personnel administration can be improved through the guidance by the principal in his capacity as a manager at school.
