Abstract

Education is a means of developing character and critical thinking. In this respect education promotes a deep understanding of morality and science. Students as individuals and social beings have personal rights to be respected by society and social obligations to be fulfilled. Thus, the aim of this research is to analyze the individual and social in achieving positive transformation in education in society. Because students as agents of change are fighting for improvement in the education system. As for the research method, this is a library reasearch method with a qualitative descriptive approach that comes from journals, books, and so on. The results of this study explain that students can be agents of transformation by integrating the knowledge and moral values they have acquired from education into real actions that help society. Students can it by expressing their aspirations, helping to improve the quality of education and creating an enabling environment for learning.

Abstract

There are two problems that are the main study in this research, first, is there an influence of the leadership of the Ma'hadiyah Council on improving the performance of dormitory supervisors. Second, how much influence does the leadership of the Ma'hadiyah Council have on improving the performance of dormitory supervisors? The population of this research is students at the Mambaul Ulum Bata Bata Pamekasan Islamic Boarding School. The results of the research after data analysis show that the r value of work is 0.751 which is greater than the r value of the product moment table. Where at db=28, both at the 5% significance level, the value is 0.374 and at the 1% significance level, the value is 0.478. Thus the value of r work is greater than the r table of product moment at both the 5% significance level and the 1% significance level so that the hypothesis proposed, namely the work hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The leadership of the Ma'hadiyah Council has a big influence on improving the performance of the Girls' Dormitory Supervisors at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Bata-Bata Panaan Palengaan Pamekasan. This is based on the results of data analysis after consulting with the r value interpretation table which states that the work r value is 0.751 in the range of 0.600 to 0.600. 0.800 with high interpretation.

Abstract

The Rohis (Islamic Student Activity Unit) in vocational schools (SMK) has currently become a platform for representatives from both public and private vocational schools to prevent the spread of radicalism among students in Surabaya. In this context, the role of Rohis is to accommodate the aspirations and problem-solving of each school, based on the experiences of students from different schools. This includes addressing issues from educators who sometimes influence their students to follow the path of radicalism they themselves have taken. This topic is intriguing to researchers because, based on field data and interviews with alumni who established this organization, the goal is to educate and enlighten students within the organization and their classmates. The method employed is qualitative, using interviews to analyze the gathered information. In this study, researchers found that current vocational school students in Surabaya consider Rohis as a platform for learning. This has brought researchers closer to the members of Rohis. After obtaining interview results, researchers will analyze the existing data using the theory of reconstructionism. The analysis reveals how Rohis members can think critically about issues within their respective schools and filter information or knowledge received by members or classmates.

Abstract

Pembaruan undang-undang perkawinan Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 Tentang Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 Tentang Perkawinan telah mengubah batas usia minimal perkawinan dari usia 16 (enam belas) Tahun bagi perempuan menjadi 19 (Sembilan belas) Tahun bagi perempuan ataupun laki-laki. Perubahan ketentuan ini bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya perkawinan dini yang dinilai memiki dampak buruk bagi Kesehatan juga berpotensi memicu kekerasan seksual dan pelanggaran hak asasi manusia, Namun ketentuan tersebut tidak bersifat mutlak adanya karena undang-undang tersebut masih memberikan kesempatan untuk diajukannya dispensasi nikah melalui Pengadilan Agama. Pengadilan Agama Bangkalan pernah melakukan pemeriksaan perkara permohonan dispensasi kawin dengan nomor perkara 354/Pdt.P/2022/PA Bangkalan , dan pada tanggal 22 juni 2022 majelis Hakim pemeriksa mengabulkan permohonan tersebut dengan dasar pertimbangan pemohon (calon suami) dan termohon (calon isteri) telah berpacaran lama sehingga kondisi tersebut dianggap sebagai alasan mendesak untuk segera dilaksanakan perkawinan untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti perzinahan. jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian theoretical reseach,[1]dengan Pendekatan conseptual dan case approach. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pengabulan permohonan dispensasi kawin dengan pertimbangan telah berpacaran lama oleh majelis hakim PA. Bangkalan, telah sesuai dengan prinsip dan kaedah hukum Islam karena mensegerakan perkawinan yang memiliki potensi terjadinya perzinahan dianggap kebutuhan (al hajah) yang berada pada posisi mendesak atau genting (darurat) sehingga wajib didahulukan daripada menunda perkawinan karena batasan usia yg belum terpenuhi secara undang-undang.

Abstract

This research investigates the differences and similarities between educational philosophy and Islamic educational philosophy. Western educational philosophy tends to derive from the boundless rationality of human thinking, raising doubts due to its limitations on human reason and separating religion from scientific knowledge (Anthropocentric). On the other hand, Islamic educational philosophy is grounded in the concept of God (Theocentric), with goals closely related to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, eliminating doubts through faith and revelation. Despite fundamental differences, this study also highlights the similarities between the two philosophies. Both are conceptual frameworks for thinking about education, and specific theories converge. Nativism, Empiricism, and Convergence Theory serve as meeting points between educational philosophy and Islamic educational philosophy. This study will discuss the practical implications of these differences and similarities in the context of modern education, exploring the potential integration of Western and Islamic thought in designing holistic and balanced learning strategies. The results of this research are expected to provide profound insights into how the approaches of educational philosophy and Islamic educational philosophy can positively contribute to the formation of an inclusive and holistic educational paradigm.

Abstract

In the context of the attention economy era, where human attention has become a valuable commodity, this research explores digital disparities with a focus on a case study at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ibrohimy Galis. Digital disparities are identified through signs emerging among students, particularly concerning economic factors, digital literacy, and regulations on the use of communication technology within the Islamic boarding school environment. This study utilizes the attention economy framework as a theoretical foundation, illustrating intense competition to capture students' attention in the digital environment. The research methodology involves student surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The success of this study provides insights into strategies to reduce the digital gap in Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ibrohimy Galis. The research reveals the existence of inter-student digital disparities at MA Al-Ibrohimy, influenced by variations in digital literacy, economic disparities, and regulations governing information technology usage in the boarding school environment. The conclusion emphasizes the need for special attention to students' digital literacy levels, addressing economic disparities, and reviewing technology usage regulations in the boarding school. Recommendations are provided to local management and stakeholders to enhance access and utilization of information technology at MA Al-Ibrohimy, thereby reducing the digital gap and supporting equality in learning. This research underscores the urgency of addressing digital disparities in the Islamic education setting, considering the increasing role of technology in the dominant attention economy.

Abstract

This article reviews the concept of digital morality as a reflection of the values ​​contained in the Koran in the context of the use of technology. By considering the challenges and opportunities facing Muslims in the digital era, this article explores how the teachings of the Qur'an can guide individuals in using technology responsibly and ethically. Discussions cover moral aspects such as integrity, privacy, tolerance and justice in the use of digital technology, as well as efforts to apply Al-Qur'an principles in the online environment. Through this analysis, this article aims to provide a better understanding of the importance of digital morality in the Islamic context and how the values ​​of the Qur'an can guide Muslims' online behavior.

Abstract

Fokus tulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali dan mengkaji dampak dan signifikansi pemerintahan Daulah Abbasiyah dalam membentuk peradaban Islam di Bagdad pada periode 750-1258 Masehi. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi peran yang dimainkan oleh pemerintahan Daulah Abbasiyah dalam kemajuan dan perkembangan peradaban Islam di Bagdad, dengan penekanan khusus pada pembentukan pemerintahan, berbagai tahapan pemerintahan Daulah Abbasiyah, evolusi sistem pemerintahan. struktur, dan pengaruh budaya Persia dan administrator dalam pemerintahan. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah pendekatan historis dan analisis konten terhadap sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintahan Daulah Abbasiyah memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan dan kemajuan peradaban Islam di Bagdad melalui penerapan prosedur administrasi yang efektif dan promosi kebijakan yang mendorong pembangunan intelektual dan ekonomi. Selain itu, masuknya orang Persia dalam pemerintahan Abbasiyah menggambarkan keberagaman budaya mereka dan kontribusi berharga yang mereka berikan pada berbagai aspek masyarakat, seperti administrasi, sastra, dan inovasi ilmiah. Pada akhirnya, kekuasaan Daulah Abbasiyah berperan penting dalam membentuk dan memperluas peradaban Islam di Bagdad, dengan masukan signifikan dari orang Persia yang meningkatkan tatanan politik dan budaya pada era Abbasiyah.

Abstract

This research discusses the crusades, a series of military campaigns carried out by European Christian powers in the Middle Ages, which had a profound impact not only on the history of Europe and the Middle East but also on global political, religious and cultural dynamics. It was called a crusade because Christian military expeditions when carrying out war used the cross as a unifying symbol to show that the war they were waging was a holy war and aimed to liberate Baitul Magdis (Jerusalem) from the hands of Muslims. The main goal of the crusades was to reclaim the holy land from the Muslim powers who had controlled it for several centuries. This method was used to collect data to reveal the discussion contained in this article. Reference collection in this activity is carried out by studying books and documents that are considered relevant to the object of study. It is hoped that the results of this research will add insight, new knowledge, and understanding of Islamic history and the crusades.

Abstract

Manusia merupakan makhluk ciptaan Allah yang dibekali dengan berbagai potensi diri yang tidak dimiliki makhluk lainnya. Potensi ini dimaksudkan agar manusia dapat mengemban dua tugas utama, yaitu sebagai khalifatullah di muka bumi dan juga abdi Allah untuk beribadah kepada-Nya. Sehingga manusia dengan potensinya membutuhkan proses pendidikan, agar apa yang diembannya dapat terwujud. Seperti yang diungkapkan oleh Arifin bahwa pendidikan Islam bertujuan mewujudkan manusia berkepribadian muslim, baik secara lahir maupun batin, mampu mengabdikan segala amal perbuatannya untuk mendapatkan ridha Allah SWT. sehingga hakikat pendidikan Islam yang melahirkan manusia-manusia yang beriman dan berilmu pengetahuan, satu sama lain saling mendukung. Islam merupakan fenomena yang besar dan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari perkembangan hidup manusia di dunia yang telah mengukir dan mempengaruhi kehidupan manusia dan Islam adalah salah satu agama yang mayoritas diyakini oleh penduduk Indonesia. Agar Islam tetap ada di muka bumi, maka muncul berbagai pendekatan keilmuan dalam studi Islam yang selalu berkembang. Di antaranya pendekatan normatif, pendekatan filosofis, pendekatan psikologis, pendekatan historis, pendekatan ilmu sosial, pendekatan fenomologis, dan berbagai pendekatan lainnya. Diantara beberapa pendekatan tersebut, di makalah ini akan mengulas tentang pendekatan psikologis dalam studi Islam dimana pendekatan tersebut berhubungan dengan jiwa (kedamaian, ketentraman jiwa), sikap dan perilaku manusia dalam kehidupan beragama serta mempelajari seberapa berpengaruhnya agama atau keyakinan tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
