Abstract

Rapid urbanization and ecological pressures in urban areas demand more sustainable, inclusive, and adaptive city planning. Green Open Space (GOS) is seen as a strategic green infrastructure that not only functions ecologically as a microclimate balancer and provider of environmental services, but also plays a socio-cultural role as a public space that encourages social cohesion, expression of local identity, and improving the quality of life of city residents. This study reviews 30 national and international articles discussing GOS from five main sub-themes: policy and governance, spatial and design aspects, socio-cultural and ecological functions, roles in strengthening public space and social cohesion, and economic and ecological valuation. The results of the review show that various challenges are still faced in the implementation of GOS, ranging from weak integration of cross-sector policies, spatial inequality, to the lack of a participatory approach in planning. On the other hand, a number of studies also show the great potential of GOS as a means of mitigating climate change, a medium for citizen participation, and a symbol of the city's collective identity. Thus, the planning and management of GOS need to be carried out with a multidisciplinary approach, based on evidence, and in favor of social justice and ecological sustainability. Abstract

Subsidized fertilizer is one of the government policies aimed at increasing agricultural productivity. The farmer cards are used to support the implementation of fertilizer subsidies to ensure accurate targeting. Gemuh District recorded the highest number of fertilizer purchase transactions in Central Java Province from January 1 to April 30, 2022. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of subsidized fertilizer use, measure farmers' satisfaction with subsidized fertilizer. The research was conducted in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency from September to November 2024 with a total of 100 farmer respondents The research method employed a case study approach with a quantitative methodology. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The CSI analysis results indicate that the farmers' satisfaction level is 81.01%, which falls into the very satisfied category. Attributes in Quadrant I of the IPA analysis include quality, consistency between allocated and received fertilizer, and ease of access to information on subsidized fertilizer availability. Quadrant II includes price, ease of obtaining subsidized fertilizer, and the availability of subsidized fertilizer stock. Quadrant III consists of the consistency of allocation with balanced fertilization recommendations and farmers’ requests. Quadrant IV includes the ease of transactions using the Farmer Cards.

Abstract

Tebing Tinggi Village in Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency is one of the rice farming centers in the region. In 2023, rice production in this village decreased to 480.00 kg from 589.26 kg in 2022. This study was conducted on 30 farmers who cultivated the Cisokan rice variety, using the Cobb-Douglas analytical model processed with SPSS version 23. The objectives of the study were to identify the characteristics of rice farmers, and evaluate the economic efficiency of rice farming in Tebing Tinggi Village. The results showed that most farmers were aged between 40 and 60 years (96.7%), had farming experience ranging from 15 to 27.5 years (66.7%), had an elementary school level of education (53.4%), and an average household size of three members (43.4%). Furthermore, the efficiency analysis showed that all production factors used were not yet economically efficient, as indicated by an efficiency index value greater than 1. Therefore, the use of improved seeds, urea fertilizer, and labor needs to be increased to achieve economic efficiency. Technical efficiency is achieved when input use maximizes output, while allocative efficiency is reached when the marginal value product equals the input price. Economic efficiency is attained when both technical and allocative efficiencies are met.

Abstract

Purchasing decisions is a process that consumers go through in selecting and buying a product after considering various alternatives that can be influenced by several factors, such as brand image, digital marketing, and celebrity endorsement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of brand image, digital marketing, and celebrity endorsement on consumers purchasing decision of XYZ in Jakarta. This research was conducted online in November – December 2024. A descriptive survey method with a quantitative approach was employed, with a purposive sampling of 120 respondents determined using the Lemeshow formula, allowing for a 9% margin of error. Data was collected using a close-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale, distributed online via Google Forms though Instagram and X. The analytical tools used in this research is IBM SPSS Statistics. This study indicate that brand image has a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions, as shown by a regression coefficient of 0.463, a t-value of 3.411 (>1.98), and a significance level of 0.001 (<0.05). Digital marketing has a positive bun insignificant influence on purchasing decisions, as shown by a regression coefficient of 0.123, a t-value of 0.718 (<1.98), and a significance level of 0.474 (>0.05). Celebrity endorsement has a significant and positive influence on purchasing decision, as indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.426, a t-value of 4.467 (>1.98), and a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). Brand image, digital marketing, and celebrity endorsement have a simultaneous influence of 47,5%, as shown by the F-test significance level of 0.000 (<0.05) and an Adjusted R2 value of 0.475.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors related to the performance of AEWs and the obstacles faced by agricultural extension workers, as well as to understand the relationship and impact of digital implementation in the New Normal era on supporting the performance of agricultural extension workers in Northern Lampung Province. The research was conducted from May 2022 to June 2022 in Northern Lampung Province. The respondents included 5 agricultural extension workers (AEWs) and 45 rice farmers. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method and Spearman rank correlation test. The results show that the factors related to the performance of agricultural extension workers in the northern part of Lampung Province include the age of the extension workers, level of formal education, work experience, level of work motivation, number of family members, distance from home to the workplace, availability of facilities and infrastructure, as well as the extension methods used. Agricultural extension workers face several challenges, such as limited funding, low farmer participation and attendance, inadequate facilities, and communication barriers. Digital technologies such as cyber extension and smart farming greatly support the improvement of their performance. In Northern Lampung, namely North Lampung and Tulang Bawang Barat, digitalization has also contributed to strengthening the role of extension workers in enhancing food security and improving farmer welfare.

Abstract

The success of cooperative is the primary goal of every cooperative business entity. One factor that influences this is the active participation of members in the cooperative. The lack of member participation often becomes an issue, even though the success of cooperative greatly depends on the extent of member participation in supporting the activities and operations of the cooperative. This research aims to determine the level of success of the cooperative and the extent to which member participation influences the success uses a survey method involving 73 cooperative members selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the level of member participation falls within the high criteria with a percentage of 78,95%, and the success level of the KSJP cooperative is in the good category with percentage of 79,15%. The independent variables consist of member meetings, capital contributions, cooperative supervision, and service utilization cooperative, while the dependent variable is the success of the cooperative. The research results indicate that the success of the cooperative can be explained by the variables of member participation in meetings, member participation in capital contributions, member participation in supervision and cooperative services by 56,5%, while 43,5% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. Simultaneously, the variables of member meetings, capital contributions, cooperative supervisions, and service utilization significantly affect the success of KSJP, while partially, only service utilization significantly affects the success of the cooperative.

Abstract

Potato chips are one of the fastest growing businesses. Batu City has great potential in developing the potato chips business. One of the industries that runs a potato chips in business in Batu City in UD. Rimbaku. Although it has been along time since establishing a potato chips business, UD. Rimbaku still expriensces several problems in managing the supply chain such as the availability of raw materials, dependence on supplier and production delays. The purpose of this study is 1) to determine the flow of the supply chain at UD. Rimbaku 2) to analize the performance of the potato chips supply chain at UD. Rimbaku using the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method 3) to determine the priority of improving the performance of potato chips supply chain at UD. Rimbaku using the Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Respondents were taken using the Snowball Sampling method. Performance analysis using the SCOR method. Supply chain weighting using the AHP method with Expert Choice Software. The result of this study shows 1) the flow of potato chips products moves from upstream to downstream or from potato suppliers to UD. Rimbaku then to retail and finally to consuments, the flow of money moves in the opposite direction from consumers to supplier farmers, the flow of information thet occurs flows in two directions, 2) the performance of UD. Rimbaku's supply chain using the SCOR method gets a value of 95%, including in the very good category, and 3) priority for improving supply chain performance based on AHP, namely make, reliability in the make process and adherence to production schedule.

Abstract

Cooking oil that is measured in liters and packaged in bottles, refills, and derigens is called packaged cooking oil. Branded packaged cooking oil, which has better quality than bulk cooking oil, can be purchased in stores through product labels, packaging, and brands. The purpose ofthe research is to find out the characteristics of consumers, attributes and levels and the order of attributes of packaged cooking oil. Data analysis methods validity test, reliability test and conjoin analysis. The results of the study showed that: The validity test of brand attributes, packaging, price, size, clarity and color was declared valid seen through a sig<0.05 value and in the reliability test all statement items were declared moderate reliability seen from Cronbach's Alpha 0.50–0.70. 1. Female respondents are the most buyers of packaged cooking oil. A total of 36 people were in the age group of 33-41. Respondents with 3-4 family members were the largest, namely 51 people. The most consumers are respondents with junior high school education, which is 34 people. The respondents to packaged cooking oil with the largest type of work are 65 consumers of housewives. The respondents of packaged cooking oil with the most income were IDR 2,500,000 – IDR 4,000,000 totaling 36 people. 2. The attributes of packaged cooking oil that are a consumer benchmark seen from the utility value are the size of 1 l, clear clarity, price > IDR 31,000, golden yellow color, bimoli brand, bottle packaging. 3. The order of attributes of packaged cooking oil according to the interests of packaged cooking oil consumers is size, clarity, price, color, brand, and packaging. It was obtained that size is the most calculated attribute of consumers in buying packaged cooking oil and is the most calculated preference of traders in the supply of packaged cooking oil.

Abstract

Local food agribusiness in Wamena holds significant potential but still faces various fundamental challenges in its development. This study aims to examine the potential, constraints, and perspectives of local farmers regarding the development of local food-based agribusiness in Wamena, Papua Highlands. A structured survey was conducted with 10 farmers to explore current conditions and the strategies needed. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was applied to objectively determine strategic priorities for agribusiness development through pairwise comparisons and consistency tests. The findings indicate that commodities such as sweet potatoes, taro, and cassava have high market potential; however, their development is hindered by limited capital, restricted access to modern agricultural technology, inadequate transportation and storage infrastructure, and insufficient distribution networks. The AHP analysis identified three main priorities: integrating local wisdom with innovation, strengthening the role of local government and customary institutions, and reinforcing farmer organizations accompanied by digital marketing assistance. These findings highlight the importance of collaboration between local cultural practices and technological innovation to build a sustainable agribusiness system. Government policy support, infrastructure development, and digital-based training are key factors in enhancing the competitiveness of Wamena’s local food products. Thus, this study provides strategic recommendations for government, customary institutions, and other stakeholders to foster the development of inclusive, adaptive, and competitive local food agribusiness in broader markets.

Abstract

The rengginang business in Ciparay Sub-district, Bandung Regency, holds significant economic potential as part of the MSME sector, yet faces various challenges such as limited capital, lack of management training, fluctuating raw material prices, and difficulties accessing modern markets, exacerbated by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify the constraints, expectations, and solutions for developing the rengginang business through the Pentahelix approach, which involves collaboration among academics, government, business, community, and media. Employing a qualitative method with in-depth interviews of 104 rengginang entrepreneurs, field observations, and thematic analysis, the study found that the main constraints include limited capital, complex licensing processes, manual bookkeeping, dependence on weather, and weak digital marketing. Proposed solutions encompass capital assistance, management and digital marketing training, simplified licensing, and the establishment of an entrepreneur community to strengthen networks and innovation. The Pentahelix approach is expected to create synergy among stakeholders to enhance productivity and welfare of rengginang entrepreneurs sustainably.
