Abstract

The rapid integration of digital technologies has significantly transformed educational management practices. However, the specific roles and functions of technology across different educational levels remain insufficiently synthesized. This study aims to review technology integration in educational management and examine its functional roles in supporting learning and institutional objectives. A systematic literature review was conducted following the PRISMA framework. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database, covering publications from 2020 to 2024. Bibliometric and thematic analyses were performed using VOSviewer to identify trends, patterns, and focal areas of technology use in educational management. The findings indicate that technology in educational management is predominantly applied to support learning processes, particularly through assessment systems and technology-enhanced instructional strategies that improve student comprehension. However, the review also reveals notable differences between schools and universities in their technological objectives, reflecting diverse institutional priorities and levels of implementation. The study highlights that technology fulfills multiple and context-dependent functions within educational institutions. Consequently, curriculum development and educational policy design should not be generalized across educational levels, especially concerning the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies. Tailored strategies are essential to align technological integration with institutional goals.

Abstract

This study explores the collaboration between Counseling Guidance (CG) teachers and tahfidz teachers in enhancing the self-happiness of students memorizing the Qur'an at SDIT Robby Radiyah. Self-happiness is crucial for effective Qur'anic memorization, given the demanding nature of the task, which requires focus, concentration, and emotional well-being. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, using purposive sampling that included the principal, two CG teachers, five tahfidz teachers, and students. Source triangulation involving the foundation and parents was utilized to ensure validity, and findings were presented descriptively. The study found that CG teachers, through counseling services, addressed students' boredom, stress, and emotional challenges. Concurrently, tahfidz teachers implemented a fun yet disciplined approach to guide memorization. This collaborative effort, reinforced by parenting, social support, and diverse activities, created a supportive environment that fostered happiness, motivation, and emotional well-being in students. The synergy between CG and tahfidz teachers, combined with external support systems, plays a pivotal role in promoting students' self-happiness, thereby enhancing their ability to memorize the Qur'an effectively. Collaboration between CG and tahfidz teachers, supported by parenting and social factors, significantly contributes to the self-happiness and motivation of students memorizing the Qur'an, highlighting the importance of an integrated approach to holistic educational success.

Abstract

Early reading difficulties among first-grade students can hinder academic success if not addressed promptly. This study explores the effectiveness of a Response to Intervention (RTI)-based moveable alphabet media in improving early reading skills among students with learning difficulties in an Indonesian elementary school. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model across two cycles. Eight first-grade students at Anugerah Abadi 2 Bengalon Elementary School, identified with early reading challenges, participated in the intervention. The RTI-based instruction incorporated multisensory learning through the use of moveable alphabet media. Data were collected using observations, pre- and post-tests, and documentation. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The average reading ability increased from 30% in the pre-cycle to 67.5% in Cycle I and 92.5% in Cycle II. Initially, none of the students met the success criteria (≥80%), but by Cycle II, all students achieved it. Observations indicated increased student engagement, motivation, and independence in reading activities. The findings suggest that integrating multisensory media with the RTI framework significantly enhances early reading skills in students with learning difficulties. The structured and individualized approach allowed for targeted interventions based on ongoing assessments. The study supports the effectiveness of hands-on, differentiated instruction grounded in constructivist and multisensory learning theories.

Abstract

The study evaluates the internalization of the Pancasila Student Profile values in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. It also examines the implications for students, identifying challenges in the internalization process. A mixed-methods approach with an Exploratory Sequential design was employed. The study involved all implementers of the first batch of the school program, with a sample of six schools. Data collection techniques included observations and interviews for qualitative data and surveys for quantitative data. Qualitative data were analyzed through direct interpretation, while quantitative data were processed using the Rasch model via the Jamovi application. Findings indicate that all six schools implemented various strategies to internalize the Pancasila Student Profile values. The degree of internalization varied, with the highest scores in faith and moral character and the lowest in creativity. Overall, 90.5% of the values were successfully internalized by students. The study highlights key challenges in value internalization, particularly in fostering "eliminating stereotypes and prejudices" and enhancing "flexibility of thinking in problem-solving". These findings suggest the need for more structured interventions to strengthen these aspects. While the internalization of Pancasila Student Profile values in IRE learning has been largely successful, improvements are needed in specific indicators. Addressing these challenges can further enhance students' character development and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education at the higher education level often faces challenges in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application. Students frequently lack the necessary skills to implement entrepreneurial concepts in real-life contexts. This study aimed to develop an Android-based learning media using a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach to enhance students' entrepreneurial skills. The study employed a Research and Development (RD) method using the ADDIE model, which includes five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product was evaluated through expert validation (content and media), small and large group practicality tests, and effectiveness testing using the N-Gain formula. The developed learning media was rated as very valid by experts, with a material validation score of 90.6 and a media validation score of 77.9. The practicality test showed a high level of usability with an average score of 80.45%, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness test produced an N-Gain score of 0.5788, indicating a moderate level of effectiveness in improving entrepreneurial skills. The findings suggest that the Android-based PjBL learning media effectively supports students in understanding and applying entrepreneurial concepts through real-world projects. Its integration of mobile technology with experiential learning offers a flexible and engaging alternative to conventional instruction. This study contributes an innovative, technology-integrated instructional model that enhances entrepreneurship education by fostering practical skill development among university students in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to identify strategies for increasing organizational commitment among permanent foundation teachers at Private Vocational Schools of Computer Engineering and Networking (TKJ) in East Jakarta. A quantitative approach was utilized, employing path analysis on a sample of 195 teachers selected from a population of 381. The findings revealed several significant relationships. Personality had a strong and positive direct effect on organizational commitment (β = 0.737, p 0.05), while transformational leadership also had a positive, albeit smaller, impact (β = 0.089). Organizational culture contributed meaningfully (β = 0.263), and job satisfaction showed a moderate influence on commitment (β = 0.193). Furthermore, personality was positively related to job satisfaction (β = 0.287), as were transformational leadership (β = 0.142) and organizational culture (β = 0.508). Mediation analysis indicated that job satisfaction effectively mediated the relationship between personality and organizational commitment (Z = 3.44 1.96; β = 0.144). However, it did not mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and commitment (Z = 0.991 1.96; β = 0.017). For organizational culture, the mediation effect of job satisfaction was marginal (Z = 1.957 1.96; β = 0.039). These results suggest that enhancing teacher personality traits, fostering a supportive organizational culture, and improving job satisfaction are key strategies to strengthen organizational commitment in TKJ vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the means of worship supporting Islamic religious education in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects used a purposive sampling technique: the principal, Islamic Religious Education teacher and six grade X students. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the means of worship at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo still use the same mosque as the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The facilities for worship are quite complete and are used as a place for teaching and learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects such as practice in schools and mentoring activities. Facilities of worship can support Islamic religious education so that it can facilitate students in exploring and developing the potential of faith, so that later they will not only know and understand, but can implement religious knowledge and faith, and can also live side by side with adherents and adherents of other religions. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the role of the mosque as a means of Islamic education can be a barometer in the symbols of Islam, and Ukhuwah Islaminyah, namely the application of the role of mosques in carrying out religious activities and programs inclusively.

Abstract

Indonesia’s cultural plurality presents ongoing challenges related to intolerance and disintegration. Schools must adopt multicultural educational strategies to cultivate character and harmony among students from diverse backgrounds. This study explores how multicultural-based history education supports character formation at SMAN 1 Prambanan. A qualitative case study approach was employed over three months (February–April 2024). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. Participants included two history teachers and six students of varied religious and ethnic backgrounds, selected via purposive sampling. Triangulation ensured data credibility. The study found that the integration of multicultural values in history learning—through material selection, inclusive group assignments, and participatory discussions—fostered six core character traits: reverence for God, global diversity, cooperation, critical thinking, patriotism, and compassion. Teachers facilitated inclusive classroom dynamics and encouraged critical engagement with historical narratives. Students displayed tolerance and active participation across religious and ethnic differences. However, challenges included outdated teaching methods, limited instructional resources, and insufficient multicultural training for teachers. Multicultural history education can serve as an effective platform for character building in pluralistic settings. Teachers’ roles in modeling inclusive behavior and designing context-sensitive learning activities are pivotal. Institutional support for teacher training and digital resource integration is necessary to enhance implementation. Multicultural values embedded in history education at SMAN 1 Prambanan promote character formation and intergroup tolerance. This model has potential for broader application in similar educational contexts.
