Abstract

Policy is a reference for the government bureaucracy in carrying out its functions and duties. Public service phenomena and problems are a serious concern in Indonesia, and this is indicated by how low public expectations are for public services. There are still many problems with public services in Indonesia, and this causes shallow public expectations of public services. The common public choice of alternative public services is also one of the causes of the birth of a hybrid organization. Besides that, during the era of disruption known as the industrial revolution 4.0, public policy could not be separated from public service innovation using communication and information technology through the concept of e-government for the creation of good public services. This is also included in the invention of health services for the community. Therefore, this study takes the theme of Optimizing the Utilization of Information Technology and Application of Hybrid Organizations in Health Service Innovation. This study uses a qualitative approach using a case study analysis strategy at the First Level Health Facility in the Nunukan sub-district, the Nunukan district, North Kalimantan. The results show that the use of Information and Communication Technology in public services, especially in health services, is proven to be able to help the community in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability through the availability of accurate and comprehensive patient health information, so that providers can provide the best possible treatments. Meanwhile, in terms of providing health insurance costs amid limited resources owned by the government, the Hybrid Organization concept is a solution to the problem wherein a hybrid system, financing comes from the basis of public resources, and non-profit organizations and the form of control requires government and private supervision as well as good practices professionally organized

Abstract

Herbal medicine is familiar in the world of health, because there are no side effects if processed correctly. In Kudus, there are SMEs that process Klanceng into various health drinks, namely CV Jamu Klanceng. Marketing of Jamu Klanceng is still manual, namely opening outlets for sales. In addition, relying on sales to promote products from Jamu Klanceng. This technique causes sales of Jamu Klanceng to gradually decline, eroded by sales that have utilized information technology. This research combines information technology to play a role in marketing this product from Jamu Klanceng. The system to be built is based on a website, where payments are made using virtual banking. With this kind of payment, you avoid fraudulent orders and scams that often occur in this online era. The method in this study uses the waterfall method. Data collection is by conducting interviews and observations to CV Jamu Klanceng. In this research the design is compiled using a flow chart, which serves to design the system to fit the existing flow. This design uses Entity Relationship Diagram, Data Flow Diagram and relations between tables. The next step is to implement the design into the Hypertext Pre-processors programming language and use the MySQL database. The system that was built made the marketing and sales of Jamu Klanceng efficient and effective. There is no limit on sales as long as stock lasts, orders can be made for 24 hours. Unlike offline selling, there are time and effort limits.

Abstract

Many Indonesian people live in coastal areas in a country with a vast sea. However, unfortunately, the vastness of this sea does not cause Indonesia to become a salt exporting country. North Sumatra can still not produce salt optimally as an area with an enormous enough salt-producing potential. This study aims to analyze the policy strategies that need to be carried out to optimize the economy of salt farming communities in North Sumatra and Aceh. This research will use a qualitative approach. The data used in this study came from various interviews and literature studies. This study found a potential for salt production in North Sumatra and Aceh. However, unfortunately, this potential still cannot be optimized due to various factors. The government then provided training and assistance for salt farmers in North Sumatra and Aceh to increase the optimization of salt production in the two provinces.

Abstract

Vertical Farming is a kind of modern agricultural methods, where the structure of growing racks are arranged upwards. This method aims to optimize the use of agricultural space. There are many plants, which are suitable to be planted for vertical farming, such as Strawberry, Tomatoes, Celery, Chili, Mint, Chives, Kuchay, Spinach, and Water spinach. The problem, which is studied in this paper, is how to control the environments of vertical farming with multi-variety plants. This paper proposed a hybrid method of Analytical Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Time Series AHP-FTS, that is, plants with similar characteristics are placed at the same block area determined by the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Furthermore, controlling the environments regarding the needs of appropriate growing parameters for multi-variety plants, the Fuzzy Time Series (FTS) method is used. Then, time variable for activating actuators could be adjusted as a multi-control system. The effectiveness of the proposed method was evaluated with 365 record data in 12 months. The result shows that the AHP was successful to determine the multi-criteria to determine the zone and priority of plants. The second stage is that the FTS predicts the temperature to determine time variable for activating actuators, and the third stage is the implemented AHP-FTS as a hybrid system to evaluate the vertical Farming system. The results show that the proposed system works well as hybrid system of AHP-FTS

Abstract

The rapidly growing population and modern living standards are causing more and more resource depletion in personal, household, and industrial consumption areas resulting in environmental challenges. Therefore, there is an intense need to investigate the various triggering factors and moderators influencing individuals' pro-environmental behavior and attitudes. Thus, the influence of environmental knowledge on the citizens' pro-environmental behavior has been examined, and the moderating role of knowledge sharing, and knowledge hiding has also been empirically tested. Surveying 582 citizens of Malang, Indonesia, at two different times for six months showed that environmental knowledge is positively and significantly associated with pro-environmental behavior. Moreover, based on the norm’s activation theory, the interactive effect of knowledge sharing with environmental knowledge has been found to enhance pro-environmental behavior. In contrast, results revealed that knowledge hiding when interacting with environmental knowledge of the citizens affects their pro-environmental behavior negatively. Thus, it depicts the negative outcomes of knowledge hiding with multiple managerial and theoretical implications.

Abstract

The field of synthetic biology benefits significantly from the application of artificial intelligence. I'd want to make three suggestions, which all have something to do with the past, the present, and the future of artificial intelligence. The works of Turing and von Neumann in biology and artificial systems from the past are exciting to investigate within the new framework of synthetic biology, particularly regarding the concepts of self-modification and self-replication as well as their links to the emergence and the bottom-up approach. The ongoing epistemological investigation into the emergence and the research being conducted on swarm intelligence, superorganisms, and biologically inspired cognitive architecture may result in discoveries on the potential uses of synthetic biology to explain mental processes. Finally, the current discussion on the future of artificial intelligence and the rise of superintelligence may point to some research trends for the future of synthetic biology and help to better define the boundary of concepts such as "life," "cognition," "artificial," and "natural," as well as their interconnections in theoretical synthetic biology. In addition, the rise of superintelligence may point to some research trends for the future of synthetic biology
