Abstract

To be continued competitive with competitors, STMIK Dharma Wacana continues to improve the quality. One of the efforts is to improve the quality of faculty performance, by assessing a lecturer for the Tri Dharma University and Personality. Referring to the faculty priorities, STMIK Dharma Wacana assessing academic performance of faculty of year by using Key Performance Indicators to determine a lecturer with the best quality and ability that will ultimately affect the determination of the faculty with the best performance. Constraints faced is the lack of information systems that can specifically provide support for decision-makers, namely the Chairman STMIK Dharma Wacana and management, making it difficult generate optimal decision. For data analysis, this study using descriptive analysis techniques and instruments used to determine policy priorities, namely Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and in this study proposed a decision support information system or Decision Support System (DSS). The results of data processing in mind that the criteria Tridarma Higher Education and Personality. Affecting the determination of the performance of lecturers teaching each year. The results are then simulated through a hierarchical method. Of the hierarchy then made a decision support system in terms of determining the lecturer with the best performance that will teach certain subjects in each teaching.  Keywords: Key Performance Indicators, Analytic Hierarchy Process, Decision Support Systems, Lecturer performance.

Abstract

The reception of journalists at the Waspada Daily Medan always went through several rigorous selections before being determined to be accepted as journalists at the Waspada Medan Daily. There are several criteria that must be possessed by each participant as a condition for becoming a journalist in the Daily Alert Medan. To get the best participants, the Waspada Medan Daily needed a decision support system. Decision Support Systems (SPK) are part of computer-based information systems (including knowledge-based systems (knowledge management)) that are used to support decision making within an organization or company. Decision support systems provide a semitructured decision, where no one knows exactly how the decision should be made. In this study the authors applied the VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) as the method to be applied in the decision support system application. The VIKOR method is part of the Multi-Attibut Decision Making (MADM) Concept, which requires normalization in its calculations. The expected results in this study can obtain maximum decisions. Keywords: Journalist Acceptance, Decision Support System, VIKOR

Abstract

Nowadays technological developments are increasingly having a positive influence on the development of human life, including in the health sector. One of them is an expert system that can transfer an expert's knowledge into a computer application to simplify and speed up the diagnosis of a disorder or disease in humans. The purpose of this final project is to design an application to diagnose diseases that occur during pregnancy which is caused by the existence of these pregnancies to simplify and speed up the diagnosis of diseases experienced by pregnant women. This study uses the forward chaining method. By involving experts in this expert system analysis according to current needs. Users are given easy access to information on several types of pregnancy disorders and their symptoms, as well as consultation through several questions that the user must answer to find out the results of the diagnosis. While experts are facilitated in system management, both the process of adding, updating and, deleting data.

Abstract

The signature of each person is different and has unique characteristics. Thus, this paper discusses the development of a personal identification system based on it is unique digital signature. The process of preprocessing used gray scale method, while Shannon Entropy and Probabilistic Neural Network are used respectively for feature extraction and identification. This study uses five signature types with five signatures in every type. While the test results compared to actual data compared to real data, the proposed system performance was only 40%.

Abstract

In the management of education is not uncommon educational institutions sometimes receive sources of funds from outside, one of which comes from the Department of Education in the implementation of its duty to provide one allocation of funds called Special Allocation Fund (DAK). This assistance is from APBN revenues to areas devoted to schools to help fund special activities such as the addition or improvement of school facilities and infrastructure. The application of this special allocation grantee needs to use a Decision Support System (CMS) to allow decisions to be generated in favor of the DAK beneficiary. In the application of SPK required MCDM method, the Weight Sum Model (WSM), which is a simple method and able to generate ranking from the proposer alternatives in a special allocation fund.

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources that can be done with intelligent organizing carefully at the level of Senior High School. In order for the participant to follow intelligently, every participant should not only have the achievement and general knowledge but also must have experience in following smartly done before. In this case, both Teachers and Principals are constrained in the selection of such discerning participants. For that with the use of a computer-based information system can reduce the constraints in the selection of intelligent participants carefully. Decision support system is a computer-based system that can assist decision makers in generating decisions, by applying method methods, then the results are given on the DSS more effective and efficient

Abstract

Schools have adopted digital technologies as a strategy for learning and teaching activities because it offers opportunities for scaffolding. This strategy has been implemented in conjunction with creative activities. In addition, activities based on digital games, known as digital game-based learning (DGBL), and various mobile technologies, have been piloted in schools over the past few years to develop innovative learning. The purpose of this research is to investigate how children's collaborative interactions develop while participating in activities requiring them to solve problems utilizing intelligent and mobile technology. Our research combines theoretical viewpoints on joint participation, affordances, and a sense of community in the context of collaborative interactions. This is done with a contextual perspective on learning as its starting point. The following are some of the questions posed in this research: (1) How do children's digital game design activities drive and support collaborative interactions while they are engaged in problem-solving activities? Furthermore, (2) How do children's ideas for designing digital games manifest themselves during activities involving the design of games that involve innovative mobile technology? The study is based on a case where a creative workshop was held with 22 Swedish third-grade children aged 9 to 10 years old who participated in game design activities in a pedagogical lab. When the children worked together to solve the problem of designing and producing a joint digital game idea using mobile technology, a sense of community emerged due to their efforts. The study's results were analyzed using a thematic approach, which revealed that the children used different orientations in their collaborative interactions. Based on this, we argue that it is crucial to be aware of the pedagogical context when preparing for educational activities that involve innovative mobile technology. This is because the pedagogical context is the aspect of the design that creates meaningful collaborative interactions, and it is only then that innovative mobile technology becomes smart. These findings have significant ramifications for the methodological field of incorporating cutting-edge mobile technology into various types of educational settings
