Abstract

Cicil or Cicil.co.id is a social-tech financial startup company which provide ease in installments for students. But Cicil mobile applications for android have not been able to meet the requirements of its users as we saw on Google Play Store's review from July to August 2019 and the results of interviews with three users. Some of the problems in Cicil applications were from usability aspect. Bad experienced by these users make users unsatisfied with the use of the Cicil mobile application and it cause users give low ratings for the Cicil mobile application. This research was conducted with a deeper purpose regarding the usability aspects related to the Cicil application by using the heuristic method. After that, recommendations are given on the usability problems. The recommendations were based on advice from evaluator, guidelines, previous applications, journal, article, or book. This study used four evaluators in the regular category and found 27 problems included 10 Nielsen's heuristic principles. The highest precentage of problems found on heuristics number 6 and 7 is 14,52%, while the lowest percentage of heuristic numbers is provided in heuristic number 9 is 3,22%. After going through the analysis, from 27 usability promblems only 21 problems were given recommendations for improving the application interface. Six problems were not given recommendations because they were not in accordance with the existing principles and theories.

Abstract

Batu City located in East Java, Indonesia has become a top travelling destination for travelers to fill their travelling needs. Due to the increasing destination spot options in the city itself, has caused somewhat a problem for travelers to decide on which destination to choose. Entry price and distance are becoming less of a problem for traveler, as other criteria such as access, facilities, and educational experience that the site has to offer are as important for modern travelers. This application is to solve just that, while giving user the ability to receive site recommendations based on the said criteria including a Location-based service to easily guide the user to the chosen destination. The system was designed using a method known as TOPSIS (Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) with entry price, distance to the location, access, facilities, and educational experience as the list of criterias used. The system has been implemented on the Android platform. Tests such as blackbox-testing gave a 100% valid result, while algorithm validity also gave a 100% accurate result which was tested by comparing system output and manual calculation. The final test was usability testing which gave a score of 72.5 by using 10 respondents.

Abstract

In the text mining there is a process for information retrieval. Problems related to information retrieval are found in universities, especially in the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Brawijaya (FILKOM UB). The problem is the selection of the thesis supervisor for the FILKOM UB Informatics Engineering S1 study program in the interest of Smart Computing is still done manually. Determination of supervisors only relies on personal knowledge related to the specialization of lecturers needed to guide during the execution of the thesis. These problems can be solved through a recommendation system based on information retrieval using the BM25 method. The process carried out is document preprocessing, calculation of BM25 score in each document, and taking the highest BM25 scoring result as much as k. In this study three tests were carried out. Each test uses the same testing data of 20 documents. The average results of each test obtained the best recommendation results, namely at the value k=3, with a value of precision @k of 0.87. The higher the value of k used can affect the recommendation results to be less optimal because more and more irrelevant documents are counted.

Abstract

The large number of patients who do not have money so that they have to be treated outpatient causes new problems. The number of diseases caused by heart organs and human body temperature is an important problem. Based on the cases that have occurred, we need a system to monitor heart rate and body temperature. To solve this problem the design of the heart rate and body temperature was carried out using MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) delivery. Heart rate reading uses a pulse oxymeter sensor by attaching the thumb to the sensor and the body temperature sensor LM35 by handheld. Data processing is done by using Wemos D1 and online storage namely cloud by utilizing the mqtt communication protocol. The process of displaying data is done in realtime. The test results on the two sensors give different results, namely 6.1 for heart rate sensors and 0.9 for body temperature sensors. Whereas for RTT (Round Trip Time) testing the system can complete less than 1 minute.

Abstract

Based on the results of interviews of researchers with the owner of Clevio Coder Camp, one of the obstacles faced was communication from Clevio Coder Camp with parents of students, especially students who came from the collaboration class, because in some schools working with Clevio Coder Camp did not provide access directly between parents and Cevio Coder Camp. Clevio Coder Camp needs an overview of the system to deal with student management problems and communication with students' parents so that good communication can be established to ensure students learn skillfully and get the best for their character and personal development. In this research, we discuss how to design a system that is suitable for Clevio Coder Camp. The design carried out is the design of architecture, components, databases, and interfaces. The design of this application has been tested using Traceability Matrix, CBO, RFC, LCOM1 metrics, and LCOM2 metrics. The results of this application design have a low coupling and high understandability based on CBO and RFC, and cohesion that is based on LCOM1. The design results also have a high adaptability because it meets the adaptable values ​​of CBO and RFC, and meets LCOM2 values ​​0 to 1. In addition, all artifacts are made based on the use case that was made before, because every column and row in the traceability matrix has a value.

Abstract

The variation of transportation which can be a helper for moving from another place is a part of technology advances. There are many of this transport who attracted the rider itself, with more and more variation vehicle user, sometimes increasing the trespasser of the road. These trespasser can be risk to other rider and increase crash incident, in the public road or freeway. The driver is also able to drive vehicles with different speeds but, many driver mostly do not care with speed limit that already shown clearly. From the explanation above, writer have an idea to make an artifact that does not can be used as CCTV but can known by the vehicle speeds automatic. This study about using frame difference method to detect an object by looking for differences from foreground with background, can resulting detect moving vehicles with an accurate average 90,1%. The advances of this method is only used grayscale color for processing image so it won't burden while processed. For the testing result about vehicle speeds, system has average error by 89,58% with program execution for system to run single video is 10,9 seconds.

Abstract

Polres Bojonegoro is part of an organization called the Indonesian national police (POLRI) based in district/city areas. The fundamental task force of the Polres Bojonegoro has been achieved in public service. To achieve integrated public service, Polres Bojonegoro should have a document that specifically explains the business infrastructure of the organization to Polres Bojonegoro at the moment. Therefore, Polres Bojonegoro will be more adaptive in addressing the changes that occur in organizations. So, modeling business architecture is done to develop business architecture in the Polres Bojonegoro using enterprise architecture approach. Business architecture requires an Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), The method used by the researcher are TOGAF ADM (architecture development method). The research has blueprints describing the existing business architecture (baseline) and (target) for the public service of Polres Bojonegoro. The modelling of the public service business model for the Polres Bojonegoro has target the creation of the united public service of the Polres Bojonegoro via mobile app. Other than that, There is also a target to automatically do data input and data archive digitally. In this research, 5 gaps were found between the baseline and target of architecture models on public services Polres Bojonegoro, models of these architecture consists of references from preliminary, architecture vision, and business architecture.

Abstract

PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim) is the subsidiary of PT. Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) that produces urea, ammonia, and NPK. Urea marketing department executes marketing activity and selling administation activity along with customer service activity with customer survey to quantify customer satisfaction, customer dissatisfaction, and customer loyalty for product. The obstacles that happened is taking that long time and need extra personal to send and receive some questionnaire at the both sides. That's why the website that gives many information and gets some index results is needed. The methodology that used for system development is using waterfall model. Then it implements with Codeigniter framework. It tested by unit testing and validation testing, so that both of that testing result overall valid. Then it tested by compatibility testing, system can implemented for some browsers and mobile devices and get some problems for website.

Abstract

Software testing is a critical element of software quality assurance and represents a principal review of specifications, design and coding. Point of Sale can be interpreted as a cashier (check-out counter) with the cash register. Software Testing has many methods in testing application products, one of which is the McCall Quality Theory, this theory focuses on 3 main things namely Product Revision, Product Transisiton and Product Operation. Testing the Point of Sale system using McCall is able to help testers review and redefine the functionalities that exist in the software, the McCall method is considered to provide a more practical method in clarifying software requirements into software quality factors. Rakoon POS is a software application product made by PT. JakaMedia, based on cashier financial management, to help the financial system at the cashier, manage, and process data that is sensitive to transactions in website-based business entities. In fact, the Rakoon POS application has never been tested before using the Software Testing method, the Quality and Reliability of this product has not been proven argumentatively. With this definition outlined, McCall's quality theory is expected to be able to help improve the factors in the application of the Rakoon POS cashier system.

Abstract

Mobile applications are increasing in use, because many applications are offering convenience for their users. Users who already use the application have the right to review their experiences during application usage. These reviews are useful for new users and application developers. But there are no features in an app store that can classify these reviews into positive or negative categories. These problems can be solved by an automatic process that can analyze the reviews according to positive and negative reviews. The method used for ranking documents is BM25F and as a classification method the Neighbor-Weighted K-Nearest Neighbor (NWKNN) method is used. Testing done using K-fold Cross Validation method to determine the best number of k and confusion matrix for testing each parameter of BM25F and NWKNN. Based on testing conducted on each parameter the BM25F and NWKNN methods can produce a percentage of f-measure and accuracy reaches 97% and 96%. This proves that the NWKNN method can classify the dataset with an unequal number of classes.
