Abstract

Online advertising, especially banner ads, is a major source of cash flow on many websites that provide free services to its users, one of them is an online news website. However, banner ads have a tendency to be ignored or avoided by internet users, resulting in the objective of the advertiser not being achieved and the owner of online news websites are not getting the maximum revenue stream. Therefore, this study aims to find out the position of an effective banner ad, viewed from click-trough rate and ad recognition of each of eight positions banner ads contained on the online news website in general. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with user testing and questionnaire technique. The result of this study is a description of user behavior pattern toward click-through rate and ad recognition so that it can generate recommendations of effective banner ads position. From this study, it can be known that the fastest ad position in attracting visitors and has the most number of clicks is floating on the right edge, the position that most likely to be ignored is on the bottom left, the position that has the highest ad recognition is on bottom right, and the position that most remembered by visitors in clicking an ad is floating on the left edge.

Abstract

Home is a place to hide and gather with family. The house also has become the basic needs of every person who is married, then have a dream home is everyone's desire. The dream house is a comfortable home to live in. In today's technological developments are very rapidly making the home function in building a dream home to increase the comfort and safety of the inhabitants of the house. In this research will be designed home controller using android smartphone with bluetooth connectivity that can control the home appliance lamp, fan and celenoid door lock with monitoring function and timer padadevice built. In this study can be done in the same way. The result of the functional testing of wireless communications can still be done in the existing space of the wall barrier and the distance of 20 meters in open space. Functional timer goes well according to the added value and how to handle it by the sensor according to the desired result.

Abstract

Customer Relationship Management is all that is related between the company with the customer, whether it's sales or any other service. Maninjau Center is a company that sells fashion products in Malang. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of customers who are similarly characterized then grouped and given a customer management strategy at Maninjau Center 2016. Research in this paper begins through the stages of business understanding, interviews and direct observation. The next step collects customer transaction data, then prepocessing data by selecting the required data only. Then look for customer value with corresponding LRFM parameter (Length, Recency, Frequency and Monetary). Then apply the K-Means algorithm to generate customer clustering. The value of K on the K-Means algorithm is determined at the beginning of 4. After the clustering operation is done, the cluster will be plotted with customer value matrix and customer loyalty matrix to know the characteristics of each customer segment. Last, customer will be given a marketing strategy proposal. The results obtained from the Maninjau Center case study show that the customer segment formed is four clusters, cluster 1 is 2, cluster 2 is 41, cluster 3 is 3 and cluster 4 is 657. The result of marketing strategy is in accordance with customer characteristic in every- each clustering is formed.

Abstract

Quadcopter is a type of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), which is a robot that can fly with fourpropellers. Quadcopter can controlled with remote control or smartphone, but it takes skill andexperience to be able to control quadcopter. Based on that problems, it is necessary to develop newinnovation of quadcopter navigation control system which is easier to use. The system built on thisresearch is made using one part of the natural user interface that is user's body gestures detected usingKinect. User's gestures will be converted into sceleton tracking. The sceleton tracking data will beprocessed by computer with javascript programming and will be forwarded into instructions to controlquadcopter. Quadcopter used in this research is Parrot AR.Drone 2.0. After performing test on thesystem, obtained percentage of accuracy of user's gestures to control quadcopter is 100%. In addition,the results obtained from the speed test of roll, pitch, and yaw on the quadcopter is directly proportionalto the input value of the user's gestures which means the speed of the quadcopter can be adjustedautomatically according to the user's gestures. For the delay on this system when the user moves thebody until the quadcopter follows the instruction is 0.05 seconds.

Abstract

Autism is a developmental disorder that cause children to experience social disruption in certain areas, such as communications, social interaction, emotional and behavioral symptoms that is difficult to be identified. According to research in autism, the number of children who suffered from autism is estimated to grow every year around the world, including in Indonesia. This research implement Fuzzy Tsukamoto method to optimized genetic algorithm in order to diagnose autism in children, by optimizing the constraints on all fuzzy variables.Chromosome representation that is used in this research is real code genetic algorithm which every chromosome will initialize the limitations on all fuzzy variables. Method that is used to the process of crossover is extended intermediate crossover and random mutation for mutation process while selection method used elitism selection. Based on the results, the system obtained the most optimal parameters on a method of CARS in a population of 50, 200 generations, as well as the combination of Cr = 0.8 and Mr = 0.1 with the fitness of 1, while on the CHAT population method 10, 100 generations, as well as the combination of Cr = 0.9 and Mr = 0.1 with fitness by 1

Abstract

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service, which is delay-sensitive and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) services with delay-tolerant. With bandwidth management, bandwidth can be set according to the needs of the application. In addition, bandwidth management can also lend out bandwidth has been allocated in accordance with priorities in order to optimize the use of bandwidth. Class-Based Queue (CBQ) method and Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method is bandwidth management mechanism based on the priority class that can be run in the ubuntu operating system. This study applies the Class-Based Queue (CBQ) method and Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method on different types of traffic such as VoIP and FTP. Parameters of Quality of Service (QoS), which include delay, jitter and throughput. From the results of testing, Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method more appropriately applied to VoIP traffic and also FTP. QoS parameters, in accordance with the value obtained when using the VoIP Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method without priority i.e. delay at 14.35 ms, jitter and throughput ms 0.25 and 0.15 MBit/s. While at FTP i.e. delay 31.93 ms and 0.37 MBit/s throughput.

Abstract

The increasing cases of missing mountain climbers each year has become a major topic in this case. The last case that can be taken by the author as a reference is the missing climber in Mount Semeru which until now has not been found. From BASARNAS in search of missing mountain climbers so far still uses several methods of searching using drones equipped with thermographic cameras to measure body temperature, using sniffer dogs and the last one is manual with human help. In this study the author tries to find new solutions to help BASARNAS team in searching for the missing climber. The solution offered is the implementation of the publish-subscribe method of mountaineering monitoring system. Mountain area known as area with no reach of internet hence by method of publish-subscribe can facilitate officer to do monitoring of existence of climber. This method allows for data transmission that is by using the help of architectural nodes are interconnected and can be contacted by mobile node belongs to the climbers themselves by utilizing his smartphone. By using this method then the officer will easily find the missing climber's search point. Officers will be able to know the whereabouts of the last climber before being declared lost through the last location information provided by the missing climber. Officers can also request information from other climbers about the missing climber in realtime. Data delivery using the publish-subscribe method will smoothly reach the destination thanks to architectural nodes acting as intermediaries. So far the tests conducted in this study get results in accordance with the purpose of using the method.

Abstract

The senses are the tools in the human body that make human beings can know and feel the circumstances or interaction from outside. One senses in humans is most important senses. Learning about the material senses sight already studied since sitting in on lessons of elementary school Science (IPA). In fact, until now there are still many found teachers who still use lecture time to teach, because in fact there are still teachers who have yet to harness the learning media in explaining and giving examples. In the absence of new innovations in helping teaching system will make some students feel the lesson became less attractive and make the students do not pay attention to the lesson. With the technology of mixed reality writers want to help resolve these problems by creating applications of learning about the sense of human vision using a 3D hologram later visualization of the application is expected to be used as a means of learning. Based on the test results the results obtained as a percentage of the usability of 82% which belong to the qualifying well and successfully, then the test results on the effectiveness of using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test calculations obtained the value of Asymp. SIG 2 tailed i.e. amounting to a meaningful value of 0.00 Asymp. SIG 2 tailed less than the limit value 0.05 p-value significance which means there is a significant difference in the effectiveness of the application before using and after using applications to knowledge about the sense of vision in humans.

Abstract

One of the most popular pets in Indonesia is the cat. According to experts Didik Saptono cat who has name felin silvertis cotus is a kind of carnivore. Many cat keepers 1 find it difficult to take care of their beloved cat when sick and one way to find out the cat'sdiseases seen from the symptoms that arise in cats and consultation of veterinarians, However there are some that prevent the keeper to go visitthe veterinarian ie limited time, distance and cost. An alternative solution overcome this problem by creating a system that can help cat keepers in diagnosing cat diseases.The method thatcan be used in this Expert System is Naive Bayes. The method is implemented on the inference engine Expert System in order to make a conclusion based on existing knowledge on the knowledge base. Results obtained after a system accuracy test of 85% indicating that the Naive Bayes method is suitable for cat disease cases.

Abstract

Messenger is an application to communicate between smartphone users, or communication activities in the internet world directly by the internet users are currently at the same time. Messenger apps chosen by students to help the learning process in the classroom because, messenger apps can send instant messages to all class members and lecturers who are involved in class groups. Many Messenger apps have evolved in this digital age, not many Messenger media apps are used to support learning. Research on Messenger apps that the authors develop later to support learning. Messenger application's general features will be done separately. With the firebase platform the author wants to help solve the problem with the development of brawijaya messenger application using firebase platform at brawijaya university which later from the application is expected to be used as a new learning tool. Based on the results of usability testing obtained the percentage results of 88.2% included into the qualification of good and successful, then in testing compability generated brawijaya messenger application can run smoothly, and there is no error in OS android version of lollipop, marshmallow.
