Abstract

Telemedicine technology is increasingly needed for remote patient health care. Especially for patients with a high risk/severe disease such as heart disease. Due to its important role and benefits, a lot of research has been carried out to improve this technology so that it's relevant with current state-of-the-art technologies. One of the latest technologies that have been adapted on telemedicine research is cloud computing. With this combination, CPU intensive task can be transferred to the cloud. However, a new problems arose. The resulting system now will always depend on the internet, while not all areas are covered or have a good internet connection. Therefore, this researcher proposes a QRS detection system with parallel processing on the edge device using the Pan-Tompkins algorithm and Renderscript framework. This system is an Android-based application that receives ECG data and then performs the QRS detection process by utilizing Renderscript to perform parallel processing. Execution time on the detection process will be measured to determine the difference in performance with serial processing. The results of the detection process will be compared to determine the level of accuracy of the system. A profiler application will also be used to find out the CPU Utilization level. In testing, the system obtained 3 times smaller execution time with an average processing speed of 301,340 row/second. The system also obtained a sensitivity value of 99.64% and a positive predictivity value of 99.47%. The average CPU utilization on the system is at 82%, 32% higher than serial counterpart.

Abstract

Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science Development (J-PTIIK) is one of the journals published by the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) Universitas Brawijaya. J-PTIIK is a scientific journal that focuses on publishing research results of FILKOM students. J-PTIIK has two main functions, namely carrying out the journal publication process and displaying FILKOM student journals. This J-PTIIK website has never undergone a user experience evaluation and it is not known what difficulties the user experiences when it is used. This study focuses on exploring the need for improvement for J-PTIIK. This evaluation uses a quantitative evaluation method in the form of a User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and is combined with a qualitative evaluation method using a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). In the problem analysis, the results of the FGD were linked to the Usability aspect contained in the Nielsen Model. Evaluation results can be used to redesign the J-PTIIK interface based on user recommendations. The evaluation results with UEQ are at the normal level for the three scales on UEQ (Attractiveness, Stimulation, and Novelty) which are between -0.8 to 0.8, while the other three scales are at the positive level (Perspicuity, Efficiency, and Dependability) with being above 0.8. Benchmark results show that the UEQ scales all under normal levels, namely at the level below the average (Perspicuity, Efficiency, and Dependability) and the bad level (Attractiveness, Stimulation, and Novelty). From the results of the FGD, there were more problems and negative perceptions from users.

Abstract

Hafintech Prima Mandiri is a company engaged in coding machine, which functions to print in all packaging media such as plastic bottles, cans, parallels and others. Services provided to corporate customers use manual systems and simple applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, WhatsApp, and Email, it can be said that understanding the role of the IS / IT field in a company is still lacking. Currently PT. Hafintech Prima Mandiri is demanded to further improve the quality of after sales service in terms of speed of service, clear information, and to satisfy customers. To overcome the above problems, PT. Hafintech Prima Mandiri should have a SI / IT that is fast, efficient, and connected in one network. To overcome the problems that exist at PT. Hafintech Prima Mandiri needs the design of enterprise enterprise architecture to align business strategy with IS / IT strategy, and careful planning is needed to plan and manage SI / IT. In this study, designing enterprise architecture using TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) with the ADM method (architecture develoment method). Limitations on the study include the Preliminary phase, Requirements Management phase, Phase A Architecture Vision, Phase B Business Architecture, Phase C Information System Architecture, and Phase D Technolghy Architecture. This enterprise architecture design will produce a proposed blueprint for business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture as a reference for PT. Hafintech Prima Mandiri.

Abstract

Online learning that has been applied in Indonesia since the COVID-19 pandemic has made schools need to prepare facilities for the learning activity. SMK Negeri 2 Malang uses web-based and mobile application-based e-learning. It is known as MClass. However, interviews with several students of SMK Negeri 2 Malang showed that there were some obstacles in using the MClass, such as a complicated website display, no help or instructions on using the website, etc. This study aims to evaluate and design the user experience solution design of the e-learning website of SMK Negeri 2 Malang using the TUXEL 2.0 technique and the Human-centered Design approach. The Human-centered Design begins with analyzing the context of use, analyzing user needs, designing solution designs, and evaluating solution designs. The user needs analysis stage and the solution design evaluation stage use the TUXEL 2.0 technique. Based on the evaluation, it is known that in the initial evaluation there were a total of fifty problem items, while in the evaluation of the solution design there were a total of eight problem items. In the initial evaluation it was found that there were eight items that were categorized as “bad” and only one item that was categorized as “very good”, but in the evaluation of the solution design there were ten items that were categorized as “very good” and two items that were categorized as “good”.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is rich in natural resources, there are many pine trees that produce sap. Pine tree sap has many uses in the cosmetic, antiseptic and pharmaceutical industries. But pine sap produces a waste effect. There are still many things that need to be improved on the processing of gondorukem for wastewater treatment. Especially in the disposal section, it is not possible to predict a good standard of liquid waste disposal. The standard for wastewater disposal has several parameters such as pH, temperature and turbidity of the waste. With IoT technology, it makes it easier for us to reduce the pH, temperature and turbidity of the waste by using a pH meter water sensor, DS18B20 and Turbidity. The data of the three sensors are collected to the sensor node, then sent to the gateway via a websocket, then forwarded to firebase which will be displayed on the web interface. Testing uses Quality of Service, to determine a network speed performance when sending, which is useful for knowing the time of each delivery and packets lost during delivery. The water meter's pH sensor function, DS18B20 and Turbidity, worked well during research. Then obtained from the test results based on the throughput h-1 to h-4 testing is 17.01 bps, 20.89 bps, 19.83 bps and 18.86 bps. For packet loss h-1 to h-4, namely 0.1%, 0%, 0% and 0.%. Then the delay h-1 to h-4 is 0.08 s, 0.07 s, 0.07 s, and 0.07 s.

Abstract

UD Sendang Putra is a business engaged in the distribution, sale and service of foodstuffs. Since this business was established, all transaction and administrative activities were carried out manually. In its development UD Sendang Putra has begun to migrate to the information system, but in its development UD Sendang Putra has difficulty implementing the system to the server because the work environment is not suitable for server installations. From this problem a cluster server is created from a single board computer. To increase availability, 4 single board computers are designed using a distributed system method so that the server can serve requests properly. In its development this server was built using 2 Raspberry Zero W for load balancers and servers, which are designed to be able to serve 3 functional requirements and 5 non functional requirements. Functional and non functional testing of the system produces valid values for all requirements. Performance testing stated that the cluster server is ideally used by 110 users because it is still within the safe limit of resource use of 80%. Based on the results of performance testing, the server cluster has an availability level of 98.53% and it can be concluded that the server cluster is feasible to use at UD Sendang Putra.

Abstract

RESTful API is a client-server communication architecture standard for web services, but low in terms of security. RESTful API data security uses authentication to limit access to the API by not saving the session state, so that token-based authentication is required which is sent via a request header such as JSON Web Token (JWT). JWT tokens can be forged by exploiting None algorithm, utilizing JWT mechanism which always believes in token's header that contains token's algorithm used, and using HMAC algorithm which was already to be exploited. Token forgery can be overcome by not using None algorithm and changing JWT's mechanism. JWT's mechanism can be replaced with a standard that only provides the version and purpose of the cryptographic protocol used and always compares the version and purpose of the cryptographic protocol used with the token's header had sent. HMAC algorithm can be replaced with BLAKE2b algorithm. Its power equivalent to SHA-3, but faster than SHA-1 and MD5. PASETO also uses XChaCha20-Poly1305 algorithm for encryption and Ed25519 algorithm for signatures. PASETO can be implemented using python, using a wrapper for Libsodium library so that it can be used in python, and childprocess with nodeJS.

Abstract

An illustrator is an artist who specializes in improving writing or explaining concepts by providing a visual representation that matches the content of the text or related ideas (Charles & Herbert, 1985). In 2018 the Indonesian Information and Communication Technology Creative Industry Society (MIKTI) stated that the most popular startup was e-commerce with 352 startups. This opens up job opportunities for illustrators and attracts illustrators who want to pursue this work, unfortunately being a freelance illustrator in Indonesia is still difficult, because there is no special platform in Indonesia that connects illustrators and customers. Currently, freelance illustrators in Indonesia use illustrator marketplace services from abroad, their weakness is they do not provide withdrawals via bank or e-wallet, this causes a long process. In addition, selling illustrator services on social media is not the best solution, fraud often occurs from both parties. In order for the creative industry ecosystem to become stronger, a connector is needed which is none other than Information and Communication Technology (Anastasia & Handriani, 2018). The method used in this research is the Human Centered Design (HCD) method because this method focuses on solving problems creatively by focusing on consumer behavior and needs rather than their demographics. The test used in this research is usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, This test produces an average value of 76.5, which means that the value is above the minimum average value of 68. The average value is between the ranges of good and excellent, including in grade B and acceptable to users (ACCEPTABLE).
