Abstract

The growing number of mobile apps that add messaging features or even make it a key feature indicate that this feature is one of the most important features. One of the protocols that allows to be used as a two-way communication protocol is Websocket. There are several Websocket libraries that can be used, so research needs to be done to determine which is more appropriate. To be able to choose the right library then required a trial of the library. For the libraries to be tested are AndroidAsync, Java Websocket, and Nv Websocket Client. Testing is done by testing each library with several different message sizes. The results showed that the greater the message sent the speed will also be higher. As for the results of the average speed in each library shows that Nv Websocket Client is superior in terms of data transmission speed. On the other hand average power consumption results in each library shows that AndroidAsync is a library that is more efficient in the use of power when compared with other libraries.

Abstract

In this research, the process of usability evaluation is using model from Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) to find out the extent of the gap that occurred on the website of Kabupaten Mojokerto. The gap that was intented is the difference from the current state of the website (performance) to standards in guidelines for website development. This research also using usability evaluation tool which is Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) as an evaluator of the evaluation results that give direction to recommendation for the improvement of what to do. The result from this research it is known that Content, Organization, and Readability having usability value equal to 0,677 and in good category, the value of Navigation and Links variable is 0,585 with moderate category, User Interface Design variable has value 0,484 with moderate category, and Performance and Effectiveness variable having usability value equal to 0,523 with moderate category. In assessment using WEBUSE explained that when the variable has entered into excellent level, then that variable has been able to be trusted by users of the system, so it can be seen that there is still gap on usability of Kabupaten Mojokerto website.

Abstract

Utilization of more adequate technology to support agricultural resources needs to be done. One of the technologies required is a temperature monitoring system and humidity based wireless sensor network environment with good performance to give a comparable value to the observed parameters premises. There are many sensor devices that serve to measure temperature and humidity, accuracy is one of the parameters that can be used to determine it. Once the selected component requires delivery scheduling method with time division to avoid the possibility of data transmission collision, time synchronization is required to support scheduling method. After the facility is formed, it is necessary to conduct performance tests to determine the performance of the system whether in accordance with field conditions. Parameters in system performance testing are system functionality, sensor response to temperature and humidity changes, sensor accuracy comparison in variations of time period of use on farmland, comparison of delivery delay in variation of distance between nodes and RAM usage. From the test results show that all the functionality of the system can work well with a 100% success percentage. DHT11 has a response time of 10.4 seconds - 10.9 seconds each for temperature and humidity measurements, the large range of values influences the temperature reader. DHT11 has a relative error range of 1.2 - 1.5% and 5.6 - 6.3% respectively for temperature and humidity measurements, duration of use has no effect on accuracy. The system has the largest delivery delay at a distance of 70m node is 19μs, the more distant the resulting delay the greater. The largest use of RAM reached 47% when sending messages on sensor nodes.

Abstract

One of the obstacles in industrial robotics is reducing errors between robots and target points because it has a great impact in the accuracy of a robot. To improve the accuracy, optimization of existing methods is needed. Kinematics is required by industrial robots to calculate the angle to get the specified position. To find out how much angle needed, Inverse Kinematics method is used by putting the target point into the calculation then the result is the angle to be reached by each joint. But, in reality, after the resulted angle being put again in Forward Kinematic equation, the result is not the same as the initial target. From this problem, Cyclic Coordinate Descent (CCD) method is created to solve it. CCD method works with iterative approach, which moves the joint one by one based on the distance of the end-effector to the target. Results from experiments using SCARA robot and 2 kinds of testing showed that CCD method could reduce the average error between end-effector and target up to 20% than Inverse Kinematic method. However, CCD method requires 0.31505 seconds longer than Inverse Kinematic due to its iterative behavior. From the results, it can be concluded that the CCD method with SCARA is effective enough to reduce the accuracy error when moving to the target position.

Abstract

Harum Bakery is a bread store located in Malang Regency area. The number of bread sales in this company is uncertain everyday. It makes the company difficult to predict the sale of breads per day. To avoid loss, this company need a system to predict sales prediction easily. With the prediction of the sale, the writer hope that the company can suppress the losses that may occur and optimizing company's profit. This research use Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) method which is method of Artificial Neural Network(ANN) to predict bread sales at Harum Bakery. The Process of prediction using ELM method is started from data normalization, then training process, testing process, find the error value using Mean Square Error (MSE) method to find the smallest error value with some testing, and data denormalization the ELM method is feedforward method with a single hidden layer which is called Single Hidden Layer Feedforward Neural Network (SLFNs). The main purpose of this method is to improve the weakness of other feedforward artificial neural networks, especially in the learning speed. Based on some tests that have been done, the smallest error rate is 0,01616 for white bread using 7 neurons, 4 features, and 5 months of sales data, the best MSE is 0,02839 for sweet bread using 2 neurons, 5 features, and 4 months of sales data, and 0,00812 for cake bread using 7 neurons, 4 features, and 3 months of sales data.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) refers to all physical objects or devices that connect and exchange data over the Internet. With the application of IoT in various fields, of course cannot be separated from the increasing challenge also. One of the major problems in IOT deployment includes devices with diverse protocols and accessibility of various devices. One solution that can be given to solving interoperability problems is to use the web as a universal integration platform. However, the application of WoT in sending commands to IoT devices becomes inefficient because the IoT device makes periodic requests as a command check mechanism. Therefore, it is necessary to replace the more efficient architecture in overcoming the delivery of middleware commands to the sensor nodes. To overcome the problem is required replacement HTTP RESTful request response architecture to use publish subscribe architecture. Based on the previous explanation, it is proposed a middleware development with publish subscribe architecture as communication of sensor node device to middleware. In replacement of the architecture is expected to reduce the load from the IoT device, so no need to make requests on a regular basis. System performance test results show, the system capable of handling up to 150 users with a 0% error rate.

Abstract

This research has a purpose to evaluate and improvement the website user interface design of PT Showa Indonesia Mfg. by adoption the Human Centered Design approach of ISO 9241-210, a standard that provides guidance for interactive system development stages involving humans as users in every system development process, in this case involving stakeholders and users. To find out the context and needs of users using the Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) questionnaire and on design using general design guidance comes from Research-Based Web Design & Usability Guidelines and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. The results of the website interface improvement design were evaluated and the results were compared with the results of the original design evaluation, this evaluation using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). This analysis aims to determine whether there is an increase after the design improvement process is done. The results of IPA evaluation of PT SIM website are nine'th attributes of problems and entered in quadrant “priorities for improvements”. While in the design improvement of conformity and aspects of the gap (GAP) states that there has been an increase. Then the nine'th attributes of the problem has increased the entry into the quadrant “keep up the good work”.

Abstract

Toko Perhiasan Beben is a store that sells and buys silver either as silver raw materials or jewelry goods. Silver jewelry goods that Toko Perhiasan Beben sells such as bracelets, necklaces, ear rings, rings, ankle band and brooches. In this store, there is two transactions available, which is selling goods and buying goods. In analysis result, transactions in this store still are handled in conventional ways, no report about financial, and no report on quantity of goods. Besides selling goods on its own store, Toko Perhiasan Beben also has third party seller (sales). The owner wants to have reminder for the sales to pay goods that he/she buys when he/she can't pay up in 30 days. To solve these problems, researcher make suggestion to implement a management system on silver jewelry goods based on desktop. With primal function in selling and buying management transactions, stocks management, financial statements and sales payment. This research is started by requirements gathering which analyzed to 28 functional from the system. The next step is to make a design and implementation. System is implemented using java language and Model, View, Controller (MVC) as design pattern with database MySQL. After implementation is finished, the system will be tested using whitebox testing and blackbox testing. The whitebox testing will be done using unit testing and the blackbox testing will be done using validation testing. Testing result of this implemented system is 100 percent valid as the system is compatible with analysis and design result.

Abstract

The marble industry in Tulungagung is one of the leading industries, besides the tourism and agriculture sectors. Ordering products in SMEs marble industry is divided into 2 types, first is when the supplier/retailer come directly into the industry and second is when SMEs marble industry received an order from a large company in Tulungagung. However, both orders are rare, even some SMEs marble never get an order for 1 month. Suppliers and retailers apparently also have difficulty in finding manufacturers to make products they want quickly. B2B e-commerce as a place to make buying and selling as well as marketing is perceived as the right tool to improve this condition. This research is made as an effort to solve the problem by giving priority to analysis and design of system design. The system is designed with the Code Igniter framework and used the Rational Unified Process (RUP) approach. This research is made by analyzing business process, use case, designing activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, physical data model, and user interface. The result of this research is a better business process, which is 23 hours 40 minutes faster with order accepted condition, made 22 features, 22 use cases with activity diagram and sequence diagram with equal amount, and produce 4 controllers and 3 models on the class diagram. Evaluation results show that the flow on the system has been able to be understood by users, navigation and user interface design is easy to understand with an average is 86% in navigation aspect and 93% in interface aspect, and data on the research has been described in sequence.

Abstract

Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (PTSP) DKI Jakarta had a vision to be a Jakarta citizens licensing solutions with the several missions that indicated that DPM PTSP provided a quick response services. It indicated that DPM PTSP must had sufficient and capable human resources, the application of optimal information technology and operational activities that run smoothly. In order to measure the optimal value of information technology resources, human resources and operational activities, a capability level assessment carried out in EDM04 (Ensure Resource Optimization) process, APO07 (Manage Human Resource) process and DSS01 (Manage Operations) process using the COBIT 5 framework. The capability level assessment carried out sequentially from level 0 Incomplete Process to level 5 Optimizing Process, analyzed the gap between capability level and targeted level, and provided the recommendations as an improvement of organizational's quality. The assessment carried out through several methods of interview, observation and assessment sheet. The capability level of the EDM04, APO07 and DSS01 process get capability level in level 3 with the targeted level in level 5 which is the same in each process, obtained the gap amount 2 and produced some recommendations that performed activities and made the documents related to each process.
