Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the control of defective products in PT Bisi International Tbk. Kediri, a producer of corn seeds in Kediri Regency. The methods used are Historam, Pareto Diagram, P-Chat 3 sigma control chart and Cause Effect diagram at the production stage. The results showed that by using the Histogram graph, it can be concluded that the number of product defects is mostly in the process of Ear Shortir, pareto diagram shows 69% disability is on the type of seed that is too young and corn seed is less perfect, so with the mitigation of both types of defect, the company can reduce product defect rate by 69%. On the 3 sigma P Chart, it is known that observations 2 and 7 are above the upper control limit, and at 8th observations are below the lower control limits. Analysis of Cause Effect diagram shows there are 6 main sources of causes of product defects, namely from aspects of HR, Equipment, Procedure, Material, and other causes. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of salary and disiplinkerja to work motivation, work motivation on employee performance, and the effect of salary and work discipline on employee performance through work motivation. Type of research used in this research is explanatory research and research method used is quantitative. The population in this study amounted to 47 employees of PT KAI (Persero) Stasiun Kertosono. The sample size is 35 employees by using purposive sampling technique. This study uses descriptive analysis and statistical analysis used to determine the elements - variable elements of salary, work discipline, work motivation and employee performance. Data processed using computer program SPSS for windowsver. 23 Based on the results of statistical analysis using path analysis, the salary variable has a direct influence on work motivation so that hypothesis 1 is accepted and the influence is significant. The discipline variable has a direct influence on work motivation, so hypotheses 2 is accepted and the effect is significant. And the salary variable has a direct influence on employee performance so that hypotheses 3 is accepted and the influence is significant. From the variable of work discipline has a direct influence on employee performance so that hypothesis 4 is accepted and significant. And the motivation variable has a direct influence on employee performance. This shows that the variable salary and work discipline give a significant influence on work motivation and employee performance either directly or indirectly. Abstract

In response to volatile market demand and nickel prices, PT Vale undertook effective and efficient measures. One of the steps taken is to downsize the organizational structure or department of support. The impact of downsizing (removal of some support departments), there are some employees who are still retained or transferred to other departments, consequently some employees lose their job or down grade, lack or excess scope of work. After the implementation of the downsizing policy, it was identified that there were high levels of resigned employees and the willingness of the employees to move (Turn over intention). Based on this, the purpose of this study focuses on the influence of organizational or departmental changes on the high Turn Over intention, using Qualitative research method, Instrument research through in-depth interview (interview guide). Data analysis techniques using Miles and Hubermen model through data reduction phase, data presentation / data analysis after data collection, conclusion and verification phase. Abstract

The purpose of this research is know whether there is influence between education level (X1), to work effectiveness (Y), how much influence between the education level (X1), to work effectiveness (Y),is there influence between work discipline (X2), to work effectivess (Y), how much influence between the wok discipline tto work effectiveness (Y), to find out wheter the education level (X1),and work discipline(Y), together affect the effectiveness of work (Y), to know which variable gives dominant influence to work effectiveness(Y). The method used in this research is survey method, with correlation and regression quantiative approach. The sample size is 64 people taken from employees Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Serang. The method of data processing using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the variable level of education (X1) has a positive significant effect on the effectiveness of work (Y) as evidenced by the coeffient of education level variable with actual test t values 8.642 >1.999, α = 0.05, the work disciplines has a t stat of 10,769, whose values is greater than ttable (1.999, α = 0.05). This mean work diciplines has a positive and significant effect on effecstiveness of work based on F test shows that the regression has F-stat values of regression has F-stat equal to 61,697, the values is greater than the F-table of 3.15 at a 95% confidence level, so it can be concluded that together, independent variables effect the dependent variable. Conclusion of research based on the above calculation then there is a significant influence between the level education on the effectiveness of employees and there is a significant influence between work diciplines on the effectiveness of employee work. Based on the analysis results can be concluded that simultaneously independent variables level of education and work discipline significantly influence the effectiveness of employees in Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Serang Keywords: Work Effectiveness, Level of Education and Work Disciplines

Abstract

The Tridharma as the duty of lecturer, which is to do teaching, research and community service. Some factors that influence the performance of lecturers are organizational culture, work environment, leadership style, and job satisfaction. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture, work environment, leadership style to lecturer's job satisfaction and analyze the influence of organizational culture, work environment, leadership style to lecturer's performance. This study took 64 samples through census method, and the data collected through research questionnaire in the form likert scale. The result of hypothesis proof analysis shows that organizational culture, work environment, leadership style have positive and significant effect to job satisfaction of lecturer of Bojonegoro State Community Academy. As well as organizational culture, work environment, leadership style, job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on the performance of lecturers of Bojonegoro State Community Academy. It is suggested to the community academy managers that the lecturer's performance can be optimal, to give stimulation to the lecturers to work in education through awards, to increase salary, to maintain relationships, to create healthy competition, to appraise fair performance, from the academy. Encourage continuing education to a higher level. Motivate to undertake research and community service relevant to the field at the expense of the institution / academy or grant. Abstract

This study aims to reveal the ethnic influence of business owners on purchasing decisions as well as on the relationship between relational responsibility and purchasing decisions. The ethnic groups chosen as distinctions are the Chinese, Arabs and Madura based on the fact that trade in Indonesia is dominated by the three ethnic groups. This research use surevi method using questionnaire. Respondents of the study amounted to 105 buyers representing the three ethnic groups. Data were analyzed through two stages, namely confirmatory factor and regression analysis with dummy variable. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the ethnic business owner is not a variable that distinguishes the decision of someone buying in a particular store. However, it is a variable that distinguishes relational responsibility relationships on purchasing decisions on ethnic Chinese, Arab and Madura-owned businesses. Abstract

This study aims to analyze empirically the influence of account receivable turn over, current ratio, debt to equity ratio and size to net profit margin. Population in this study are companies in the food and beverage listed in the Indoensia stock exchange 2009-2015. The collecting data using purposive sampling and obtained 9 companies that meet the criteria. This study uses secondary data from www.idx.co.id which can be analyzed with multiple linear regression with SPSS 17.0. The result show that simultaneously account receivable turn over, current ratio, debt to equity ratio and size the affect to net profit margin, whereas partially only current ratio has an affect on debt to equity ratio. Abstract

This study is purposed to identify and analyze the relationship and influence of professionalism, materiality, and audit risk to internal control and its implications to the audit opinion on the public accounting firm in South Jakarta. Purposive sampling technique are used in this study, and 140 respondents, who are auditors and work in the public accounting firm in South Jakarta, were met the sample criteria. The analytical method used is the Path analysis. The results indicate that the relationship between variables professionalism, materiality and audit risk have a moderate level of relationship. Influence of professionalism, materiality and audit risk simultaneously affect the internal control of 70.9 percent of measurement. While the influence of professionalism, materiality, audit risk, and internal control altogether affect the audit opinion of 74.2 percent of measurement. Abstract

Every company wants a position or position that is more profitable and can survive and earn profits accordingly. Price discount policy is a matter of interest to the consumer and can increase the sales volume. Because in the provision of a very large discount the effect on the increase of sales volume, then the company must be able to establish the right price cut policy to meet the desired sales target inmaximizing corporate goals. Price discount policy is one of the driving factors to increase sales volume.This study aims to: know how the effect of discounted policy on sales volume. From result of research can be concluded that:1) From the calculation of correlation analysis done to produce correlation coefficient value of 0.963 which means that between the policy discount (X) with sales volume (Y) has a strong or positive relationship; 2) From the results of regression analysis obtained regression equation Y = 213 + 5.8X. So if the discount policy is increased by one part (1 part) then the sales volume will increase by 5.8 units. Suggestions that writers can give to the company are: The company should pay more attention to the policy of price discount, in order to increase company sales volume. This is very important because with the increase in sales volume indirectly sales results in the company also increasedKeywords: Price discount policy, and sales volume.
