Abstract

The objective of the work is to establish the characterization of the auditory disability and its relationship with resilience at the Technical University of Manabí. The article shows a conceptual analysis related to the inclusion and social integration of disabled students. Based on the fact that the person with disabilities grows and develops in the same way as that of people without disabilities and what usually happens is that disabled people are rejected and discriminated against based on a prefabricated and erroneous conceptualization of these people. The results associated with the application of the SV-RES test prepared by the researchers are shown (Saavedra & Villalta, 2008b). Characterization of the auditory deficit is made in the students, and the limitations that derive from it are pointed out. We analyze the particularities related to communication with students who have a hearing disability and resilience in this type of student, where some personal highlights that in this sense constitute an example of resilience. Finally, the results related to the study of the relationship between students hearing disability and the level of resilience dimensions are shown.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine and to obtain empirical evidence on the effect of Ethical Sensitivity on the Auditors Performance and the influence of moderation of Big Five Personality on the relationship between the Ethical Sensitivity and Performance of Auditors of the Public Accountant Offices in Bali. The study used primary data sources and the data types used were quantitative data, collected through questionnaires. Data analysis technique used was Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) approach. The results obtained in the study is the ethical sensitivity has a positive effect on the auditors’ performance and personality traits contained in the Big Five Personality model which can strengthen the relationship between ethical sensitivity and the auditors’ performance. Auditors who have the personalities of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability and openness to experience tend to remain ethical even in the face of a pressing ethical dilemma that they are able to provide optimal performance.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the factors that shape the field of operational productivity of employees at PT. Source Alfaria Trijaya Branch Lombok. The method used in this research is method survey with a sample of 85 respondents were determined by simple random sampling. The analytical tool used is a factor analysis. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded, there are three factors that shape the field of operational productivity of employees at PT. Source Alfaria Trijaya Branch Lombok, first factor is formed from factors Education and Training (Training), Work Discipline, Work Experience, Job Satisfaction, Morale, Morale, Work Environment and Kompensasi. Factor both shaped by factors Leadership, Education Level, Job Skills, Job Stress and Organizational Culture. The third factor is formed by motivational factors. The first factor has a value which means that the largest percentage of variance of these factors have a relationship that is the most powerful or the most dominant in shaping the field of operational productivity of employees at PT. Source Alfaria Trijaya Branch Lombok.

Abstract

Health Promotion in Clean and Healthy behavior program is a behavior that can be affected by attitudes, subjective norms, intentions and behaviors. The purpose of this study is to application attitude, subjective norms, intentions, and behavior clean and healthy by using Theory of Reasoned Action. This research type was an analytical observational study with cross-sectional. Research location was in Imogiri traditional market in Bantul Yogyakarta Indonesia. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. Data collection techniques were questionnaire and observation sheet. Data analysis used Amos 24. Attitudes affected the intention; Attitude effect on Behavioral Beliefs; Subjective norms affect Outcome Evaluations; The intention affected the intention of disposing of; The intention affected the intention of utilizing latrines; The intention affected the intention of not smoking in the market; intention affected the intention to wash hands with soap; Clean and healthy life behavior has an effect on non-smoking behavior in the market; Clean and healthy life behavior has an effect on hand washing behavior with soap.

Abstract

The condition of disability causes multiple changes in the life of a person, putting into play different mechanisms that allow him to adapt to the new situation and learn to live with important restrictions that require an effort to realize a normalized life, in a society where there is no shortage discriminatory and differentiating attitudes, which make the process of adaptation to society more difficult, all this influences the efforts to achieve the personal improvement of the disabled and the strengthening of their resilient posture. The objective of the research is to establish the resilience and personal improvement of students with disabilities in the Universidad Técnica de Manabí. The research shows an analysis of the functional and conceptual background of the phenomenon related to motor disability and the rights of people who suffer from it to develop their social skills to obtain a profession. It addresses the concept of resilience and what is related to the ability of people with disabilities to overcome. The results obtained in the application of the SV-RES test prepared by the researchers (Saavedra & Villalta, 2008a), to the students who suffer motor disability and who are enrolled in different careers of the technical university of Manabí, are offered. Offer in tables and an analysis related to the resilience and personal improvement of said students is presented.

Abstract

As a global phenomenon, tourism sector plays a very significant role in the global economic development for the last three decades. This sector has given a very fundamental endorsement of income to many countries all over the world. This article tries to explain the concepts of sustainable development in the tourism sector which were taken from some sources and how tourism as an essential industry can be developed sustainably. It is expected that the development of sustainable tourism should be able to handle the three basic principles of ecological sustainability, social and cultural sustainability, and economic sustainability for both present and future generations. In other words, sustainable tourism development should always beneficial and give a good effect to the local communities, governments, and investors as tourism stakeholders at present days as well as in the future time.

Abstract

This study presents results obtained in applied research, involving controller boards (Arduino), at the Nove de Julho higher education institution, in the courses of Computer Science in São Paulo. In 2018, focusing mainly on the positive and negative points presented by the statistical data of the public security office. The methodology used to obtain the data was experimental research based on results obtained in the newspaper Estadão of June 25, 2017. Every hour, a house is invaded in the State of São Paulo, according to data of the Public Security Secretariat, focusing mainly in the qualitative and quantitative results, seeking greater security for homes with tilting gates, avoiding fraud and cloning of locks. Creating new automation equipment, focused on security, its assembly is more complex and more structured than the simple control boards and controls for swing gates. Thus obtaining a safer drive with a high power against fraud, since the system is mounted on top of the controller boards (Arduino), this system achieved a higher degree of reliability than conventional systems.

Abstract

This research was intended for obtaining an empirical evidence regarding good corporate governance to moderate the influence of bid-ask spread and leverage on earnings management. Earnings management was measured by the three proxies of real earnings management. It was included cash flow operation, production cost, and discretionary expenses. Bid-ask spread was measured by ask and bid price of the companys shares in given period. Leverage was measured by the ratio of total debt and assets. A good corporate governance was measured by score Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI). The research population was a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2015. The sampling method is used a purposive sampling. The samples analyzed was 56 samples. An analytical technique is used Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The result showed that a good corporate governance did not moderate the influence of bid-ask spread on earnings management. However, a good corporate governance weakens the influence of leverage on earnings management.

Abstract

The research analyzes the relationship between factors of resilience and academic performance in disabled students studying at the Technical University of Manabí. It is a correlational descriptive study conducted with a population of 88 disabled students, of which two groups were selected, one with high academic performance and the other with low performance. A questionnaire was designed and applied to determine the level of quality of life and risk factors of adolescents. Resilience was measured with the SV-RES scale created for the Latin American population.
