Abstract

At this time, the existence of advanced technology can quickly change the mindset and social life in society. One of them is a traditional game that has begun to fade and be left aside by the existence of modern games. Now, children prefer modern games compared to traditional games. With the advancement of science and technology, play is no longer a physical activity in the growth and development of a child. In this study using descriptive qualitative methods, analyzing social facts. So it can be concluded that there is a shift in culture and values towards a game, lack of interest in traditional games due to the absence of challenges in a game and environmental influences and interaction patterns that cause no direct contact of children while playing

Abstract

This paper is motivated by the author's interest in language ethics used in diplomacy practices. This paper will discuss how the use of language ethics can affect the relationship between diplomacy actors. The method used in this research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach that will be supported by relevant literature obtained from various trusted sources such as books, journals, and the internet. The results obtained in this study are how language ethics in diplomacy can overcome various challenges faced such as differences in cultural backgrounds, languages, and dialects owned by each actor. The use of linguistic ethics is also considered capable of being an intermediary to build good diplomatic relations between the actors involved in it.

Abstract

This study explores the role of the Indonesian language in the development of telecommunication technology among students. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, mastering the Indonesian language well is crucial for students to communicate effectively and efficiently. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with questionnaires distributed to students to collect data on their experiences and perceptions of using the Indonesian language in learning telecommunication technology. The results show that 73% of respondents have no relevant experience, while 27% state that the use of the Indonesian language in learning telecommunication technology is good and easy to understand. Respondents also emphasize the importance of routine use of the Indonesian language, the selection of vocabulary that aligns with the KBBI (Indonesian Dictionary), and the provision of comprehensive teaching materials. In conclusion, although the majority of students have no relevant experience, the Indonesian language is quite effective in learning telecommunication technology. These findings provide important guidelines for teaching strategies, particularly in developing students' communication skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Kartu Budaya 3D, untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pendidikan pancasila di SD. Pada materi keragaman budaya Indonesia dalam bingkai Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Memperkenalkan keragaman budaya di Indonesia merupakan upaya mendidik generasi bangsa menjadi multidimensi. Jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D) ini menggunakan model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, modul pengajaran, pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kelayakan media sebesar 90% dengan kategori layak pakai tanpa revisi. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 86,66%, yang berarti media kartu budaya 3D efektif digunakan untuk proses belajar mengajar. Peningkatan hasil belajar juga dihitung menggunakan N-gain yang menghasilkan nilai 0,7308 dengan interpretasi kategori Tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan media 3D Cultural Card. Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran, Kartu Budaya 3D, Hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstrak Kemampuan membaca mempunyai peranan penting terhadap keberhasilan akademik siswa. Namun, masih banyak siswa di sekolah dasar yang mengalami kesulitan membaca, terutama di kelas tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tidaknya pengaruh metode Orton-Gillingham terhadap kesulitan membaca siswa kelas IV dan V di SDN Kalipecabean Sidoarjo. Metode Orton-Gillingham merupakan metode yang terstruktur pada huruf dan bunyi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Pre Experimental One Group Pretest-Posstest Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 6 siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca, dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling . Instrumen berupa lembar observasi tes kemampuan membaca, dianalisis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikansi kemampuan membaca siswa setelah diterapkan menggunakan metode Orton-Gillingham, dengan nilai p sebesar 0,000 ≤ 0,05. Jadi terdapat perbedaan setelah dan sesudah menggunakan metode Orton-Gillingham yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai posttest siswa . Hal ini berarti terdapat peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas IV dan V SDN Kalipecabean Kota Sidoarjo. Hal ini juga menunjukkan bahwa metode Orton-Gillingham efektif dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada siswa kelas IV dan V SDN Kalipecabean. Kata Kunci: Metode Orton Gillingham, membantu membaca .

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of magnetic alphabet media when learning to read in high school elementary school students. The "Magnetic Alphabet" media is a learning aid that uses magnetic letters to help students recognize and form words. This research was conducted at the Kalipecabean village hall by taking students from Kalipecabean Elementary School consisting of 6 people with details of 1 female student and 5 male students as research subjects. The research method used was qualitative involving interviews with school principals and teachers regarding students. who cannot read, observe and document directly during the learning process. The VAKT method focuses on the use of various multisensory aspects in humans, so it is hoped that it will be able to provide solutions to teachers in teaching students who have difficulty learning to read. The research results show that the use of the "Magnetic Alphabet" significantly improves students' reading abilities as evidenced by the results of the analysis of the percentage of research subjects showing high figures, 97.5% RK, 87.5% RF, 95% FN, 90%, FA, 97, 5% AN, and 92.5% OC. Thus, the "Magnetic Alphabet" media has proven to be effective as an aid in learning to read in upper elementary grades, and is recommended for widespread use in efforts to increase student literacy at the elementary education level.

Abstract

Advanced Statistics is one of the courses that students must take in the fifth semester. This course is also a course that students are less interested in because it is related to calculations and cannot be separated from basic mathematical skills. Because of student assumptions regarding this matter, students have a low (negative) perception of this course. Negative perceptions from students cause a lack of student enthusiasm and motivation in studying advanced statistics, so that students' understanding of advanced statistics is also low. This research aims to find out how much influence students' perceptions have on their understanding of advanced statistics. The method of this research took the form of a survey and question instrument given to 50 students. The results of this research are that there is an influence on student perceptions on understanding advanced statistics courses.
