Abstract

Learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic were carried out online with the aim of taking advantage of technological advances using online learning media. All high schools have implemented online learning, one of which is SMAN 1 Bukit Batu. This aims to ensure that the learning process is carried out remotely without having to meet in person. Online learning has advantages and disadvantages that can affect the achievement of learning objectives, especially in theoretical and practical PKOK subjects. So it is necessary to assess learning theory and practice of PJOK to determine the effectiveness of both. Research the use of 6 criteria and compare theoretical and practical PJOK learning models to determine the best model. The method used is Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) with a quantitative approach where data collection is carried out through surveys. There were 193 respondents, namely all 12th grade students of SMAN 1 Bukit Batu as the population in this study. The results of calculations using the MAUT method on the effectiveness of using online learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the choice of the Theory subject assessment (0) as the lowest assessment, while the Practice subject (0.32) was the highest assessment. This assessment states that online learning can be said to be effective for practical subjects, while theoretical subjects are more effective if done offline

Abstract

Broadband wireless access technology has taken the lead in communication technology development, enabling users to communicate with fast data speeds and extensive coverage.. Problems that frequently arise in mobile communication systems are the wide range of services and the level of network service quality. Thus, optimization is carried out to improve network quality in the Lubuk Kilangan area by using the drive test method to determine the quality of the network and bad spot areas and analyzed using terms discovery software. The reason behind the findings of this study is that the optimal link budget value for 4G LTE infrastructure in Lubuk Kilangan is higher than the current industry standard due to the unique characteristics of the area. According to the analysis and calculation of the link budget, power additions, and antenna tilting alterations were carried out for optimization. The power quality of the RSRP parameter increased from the fair (orange) area of 2.58 to 0.29. For the SINR parameter, For the SINR parameter, there was also an increase in quality at poor category locations in the KPI parameters (Range RSRP) locations from 0.08% to 0.05%, resulting in SINR bad spots decreasing. The proportion for Throughput after optimization remains the same, at 100%. Indicating that there had been a good increase in the coverage area, making the coverage in the Lubuk Kilangan area good. It is necessary to conduct a deeper study by comparing several types of antenna orientation, including tilt, depending on various factors such as the deployment scenario, coverage requirements, interference considerations, and the specific characteristics of picocells, femtocells, and repeaters. Future research could explore the impact of other factors, such as network topology and user behavior, on link budget optimization of 4G LTE infrastructure in different contexts

Abstract

Electronic Education Payment information system is an education fee payment system using online payment technology. However, the tuition payment system at MIS Muhajirin is still done manually by recording each payment transaction using the SPP card. This is an obstacle because it causes long queues by parents when paying tuition fees and there is also a high possibility of human error. This research aims to produce a web-based online payment information system at MIS Muhajirin, as well as to determine the level of efficiency if implemented at MIS Muhajirin. The method used in this research is the Design Thinking method which consists of 5 stages, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The results of the research show that the information system developed provides effectiveness for admin staff when managing tuition payments at MIS Muhajirin and provides convenience for parents in terms of paying tuition online and not having to queue at school as before. Thus it can be concluded that this application is quite influential in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the tuition payment system at MIS Muhajirin

Abstract

The development of processor technology, especially Multicore Processors, has had a significant impact in various fields, including the field of higher education, one of which is the need for Virtual Private Servers for information management and their potential as a storage space for web development products. This research aims to create a Virtual Private Server in the Informatics Education program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Hamzanwadi University. It uses the Research & Development (R&D) method with the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) approach, involving six stages: Analysis, Design, Prototype Simulation, Implementation, Monitoring, and Management. Data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research resulted in a Virtual Private Server using Proxmox VE 7.4, Ubuntu 18.04.5 operating system, remote access via OpenSSH-Server, Control Panel AAPanel 6.8.30, Nginx 1.21.4 web server, MySQL 5.7.34 database management system, PHP 7.4, PhpMyAdmin 5.0 for web access to the database, and PureFTPd 1.1.49 as the FTP Server. Expert evaluations in the field of IT yielded a rating of 83% with the category "Highly Suitable," indicating that the Virtual Private Server product is suitable for use as a storage facility for web-based development products in the Informatics Education program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hamzanwadi University

Abstract

Measurement of oceanographic parameters is needed to determine the condition of the ecosystem in the water area so that it can be the basis for carrying out conservation activities in marine waters. Measurement of physical and chemical parameters used manually which causes the data obtained is still susceptible to observational errors. In this study, a system was designed that can measure oceanographic parameters periodically. The designed system consists of a temperature sensor, turbidity sensor, pH sensor and TDS sensor integrated with a microcontroller device. The system consists of two main parts, a sensor node that has a function as a transmitter and a gateway that has a function as a receiver. Initial testing is done by calibrating and validating data for each sensor used. The next test was carried out by testing the transmission of data from the measurement of oceanographic parameters in the form of water pH, salinity, water temperature and water turbidity from the sensor node to the gateway using the LoRA Ebyte E220 communication module. The test results show that the sensor node measurement data can be sent to the gateway by setting the distance between devices as far as 500 meters. The resulting data transmission delay is in the range of 2-10 seconds

Abstract

The attendance system is an important thing that is used to assess employee performance. Currently, many companies or organizations have developed attendance systems, but there are still many organizations that have not optimized attendance with a reliable system. This happens at the Palu City Tourism Office, where attendance still uses manual recording in album books. Many problems occur with the manual attendance process, so it is necessary to create an attendance system. This research aims to help the Palu City Tourism Office for attendance management by using face recognition technology using the Single Shot Detector (SSD) algorithm. The system development model uses Waterfall. This research uses 20 different facial poses with four people each with 5 poses. This research uses javascript programming language, Next JS framework, tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL database, and face-api.js library. Tests carried out with blackbox results all features on the system function properly then based on the results of face detection testing, the test results obtained that the Single Shot Detector algorithm can detect facial images recorded on the camera quickly and accurately in medium and bright lighting with a distance of 40-80 cm.  The result of this research is a system that can recognize faces well by matching the training data image with the face image recorded on the camera in realtime

Abstract

This research aims to enhance message security in the RC5 algorithm by integrating it with the Blum Blum Shub (BBS) algorithm. The rapid growth in data and information exchange, driven by advancements in information and communication technology, demands robust security against attacks such as eavesdropping, interruption, and data modification. Cryptography, particularly with symmetric and asymmetric keys, becomes a solution to maintain message confidentiality. The RC (Rivest Cipher) algorithm, specifically RC5, has become a popular choice in network applications due to its speed and variable key length complexity. This study attempts to improve the quality of encryption keys by integrating the Blum Blum Shub (BBS) method, a mathematical random number generator algorithm. RC5 and BBS are used together to secure messages, producing ciphertext that is difficult to predict and smaller in file size compared to the standard RC5 method. The test results show that the processing speed is independent of the number of characters in the plaintext, while the encrypted file size resulting from the RC5-BBS combination is more efficient than using the default RC5. In conclusion, integrating BBS into RC5 can enhance the security and efficiency of the encryption algorithm, with the potential for widespread application in cryptography-based data security

Abstract

The importance of the role of motor vehicles in human life is revealed through its transformation from a tertiary need to a secondary one. In Indonesia, the number of motor vehicles reached 136.191 million units in 2020, prompting the government to regulate registration and identification through Presidential Regulation No. 5 of 2015. This research addresses issues related to motor vehicle administration in Indonesia, focusing on transparency, data integrity, and information availability. Inspired by the rapid growth in the number of motor vehicles and the increasing cases of theft, this research aims to design and implement an innovative motor vehicle ownership recording system using blockchain technology. This approach aims to enhance the accessibility of information on the origin and ownership of vehicles or Vehicle Registration Numbers (VRN), which is currently limited in both manual and online forms. The research methodology involves the design and implementation of blockchain technology, tested to verify its effectiveness in achieving transparency and data security goals. The research results indicate that this system can provide more comprehensive and distributed information to the general public, overcoming the limitations of centralized systems. The conclusion of this research affirms that the application of blockchain technology can be an innovative and effective solution to improve motor vehicle administration. The implications of this research include increased efficiency, security, and availability of information in handling vehicle administration, potentially having a positive impact on the general public and related industries

Abstract

Warehouse stock management is very important for the sustainability of a business, especially building stores that have a lot of goods. Many problems occur in the absence of stock information management in a business. This happens at Pelita Building Store which has a lot of goods so it is very difficult for the owner to decide which items to stock based on priority. This study aims to help business owners to carry out stock management by comparing two inventory methods, namely the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Min-Max methods. The comparison is carried out with the aim of determining the most optimal method that can be used for stock management in the building shop business case. This research uses a system development method by adopting the prototype method. This research was tested by conducting blackbox and accuracy testing. The results of this study based on blackbox testing stated that the features in the application function properly and can be used for stock management. In addition to black box testing, accuracy testing is also carried out. Accuracy testing is done by comparing the data from the information system calculation with the data from the manual calculation. After comparison, an accuracy of 100% is obtained, thus it can be concluded that this application can be used to help shop owners determine priority stock and the most accurate method is to use the EOQ method

Abstract

The influence of the globalization era has increased the use of health facilities in society. This increase requires agencies to provide the best possible service to customers. UPT. The Sriwijaya University Health Clinic as one of the providers of health facilities has also experienced the impact of this increase, therefore this agency continues to provide the best service and makes improvements in the services provided so that service users can feel satisfied. The aim of this research is to determine the level of student satisfaction with services at UPT. Sriwijaya University Health Clinic and which dimensions of service quality have a dominant influence on student satisfaction levels. This research involved 117 respondents from all students and was distributed via Google form with a quantitative research type and survey approach. Data analysis techniques were carried out using SPSS 26 and calculations were carried out using the servqual method. The research results show that from the total, the level of student satisfaction is at a percentage of 87% in the very satisfied category and the quality dimension that has a dominant influence is the reliability dimension with a Gap value of -1.17. With Cartesian diagram analysis, the question instruments included in quadrant I and quadrant II have the opportunity to be improved and maintained in quality so that they can get better responses in the future. With this research, it can be taken into consideration by UPT. Sriwijaya University Health Clinic to improve the quality of services provided in every dimension, especially those included in the important category and maintain the quality of services that previously received a good response
