Melinjo chip is one of Indonesia’s facourite food. Melinjo chip is not only marketed in Indonesia, but they have been exported to various countries including Netherlands, United State of America, and Middle East. Mostly melinjo chips are produced in the traditional way by home industry and MSMEs. The existing machines to produce melinjo chips are not operated fully automatically; hence they still require significant operator involvement. The machine developed in this study uses a pneumatics pressure as power driver. Pneumatics cylinders are used to push the melinjo seeds onto the flattening base, and to move the puncher rod during flattening process. The developed automatic melinjo punching machine has been tested. The tests were carried out to determine the parameters used for programming the machine, sucah as punching time and pneumatic presure, and for checking the capacity of the machine. The test results show that the most effective punching time is 5 seconds at pressure between 5-7 bar. In 5 seconds, the machine can change melinjo seed into chips shape with thickness in between 1,20-1,45 mm. The capacity of the machine in processing melinjo has also been tested. The results showed that this machine can process 528 melinjo into chips shape melinjo per hour.

In line with the dynamics of its development, tourism has penetrated various terminology such as ecotourism. Ecotourism is an approach to tourism development that seeks to ensure environmental preservation and keep the natural conditions around tourist destinations. Taman Hutan Raya Bung Hatta (The Bung Hatta Grand Forest Park) is a potential area to be developed into more valuable with more quality in ecotourism. However, the problem is that this site lacks attractiveness and regulations regarding environmental conservation and natural resources of flora and fauna as a valuable attraction in Bung Hatta Grand Forest Park. This study aims to assess the potential development of Taman Hutan Raya Bung Hatta in developing its attractiveness as ecotourism based on green tourism. The analysis in this study uses an observational approach and a deductive-descriptive method. The analyzes done in this research are an analysis of the physical condition of the Bung Hatta Grand Forest Park, an analysis of the attractiveness of the Bung Hatta Grand Forest Park, an analysis of the facilities and infrastructure of the Bung Hatta Grand Forest Park, an analysis of the Potential and Problems of the Bung Hatta Grand Forest Park. Those analyses are carried out with the concept of green-based ecotourism. The assessment of Bung Hatta Grand Forest Park attractiveness potential is from the potential for developing a natural museum, developing a natural laboratory as a means of education, providing a trekking area as an effort to integrate with nature and camping in the natural area of the Bung Hatta Grand Forest without destroying nature. All of this is done while maintaining the sustainability and uniqueness of the vegetation in Bung Hatta Grand Forest Park.

Promotional activities are needed in a business or a sales transaction to disseminate information to all consumers widely. Promotional activities will be easy to do with a web-based promotional information system that will help our Bandung Style Shop in disseminating promotional information widely. The purpose of this study is to create or design a promotional information system at Our Bandung Style Shop. The research method that we used in this research is a direct observation on the object of research so it will get more accurate. This research will produce a Web-based promotional information system design that can be used by Our Bandung Style Shop. This research was conducted by looking at the direct conditions of the object of research seen from the business processes and promotions that exist in Our Bandung Style Shop. So, the results of this study will help Our Bandung Style Shop to promote its products.

Perkembangan radiator saat ini sangat pesat baik secara kontruksi, material pembuatnya serta dimensinya yang cenderung lebih efisien dan efektif dalam pelepasan panas. Disisi lain dunia otomotif telah melakukan pengembangkan teknologi tentang cairan pendingin (cooling liquid) yang baik dalam pelepasan panas serta mampu bertahan ditemperatur tinggi. Cairan pendingin saat ini juga dikembangkan dengan memiliki kelebihan dibanding air biasa yakninya dilengkapi dengan anti-freeze agar cairan tidak membeku saat musim dingin, juga dilengkapi dengan kandungan anti karat agar radiator memiliki masa pakai yang lebih panjang. Untuk itu perlu upaya untuk mengetahui kemampuan radiator secara jelas agar ini dapat membantu dalam pemilihan jenis cairan pendingin yang cocok pada sebuah mobil sehingga mesin tidak mengalami overheating atau mesin tetap menjaga temperatur kerjanya. Hal ini berdampak pada jumlah varian cairan pendingin yang ada dipasaran sangat bervariasi dengan keunggulan masing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan meggunakan engine stand. Pengujian dilakukan pada radiator kijang 5 K model straight fin dengan model flat tube dengan menvariasikan merk dari cairan pendingin (coolant liquid) dengan 5 varian Top 1 (TP), Wurth (WR), Prestone (PT), Megacool (MC), G-Force (GF). Dari hasil penelitian didapat efektifitas radiator terbaik terdapat pada cairan pendingin dengan merk PT dengan nilai 0.494 pada durasi 60 detik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan sejauh mana tingkat kepresisian dari mesin bubut maximat super 11 di Laboratorium Teknologi Produksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pengujian putaran (run out) spindle nose, pengujian ketirusan lubang spindle nose, pengujian kelurusan tailstock guideways terhadap gerakan eretan dan pengujian kebulatan terhadap benda kerja dalam pembubutan rata. Hasil penelitian pengujian putaran (run out) spindle nose masih dalam batas toleransi yang ditetapkan schlesinger standart (0.01 mm), pengujian ketirusan lubang spindle nose hampir secara keselurahan mesin sudah melewati batas penyimpangan yang diizinkan (posisi A = 0.01 mm, posisi B = 0.02 mm per 30 mm), pengujian kelurusan lintasan semua mesin sudah melewati batas penyimpangan (0.01 mm per 500 mm) dan dicobakan untuk pembubutan rata pada benda kerja (spesimen) ditentukan untuk 2 mesin dengan penyimpangan terkecil (M17) dan terbesar (M20) dari keseluruhan mesin dan setelah diuji tingkat kebulatan dari kedua benda disimpulkan masih dalam batas toleransi yang diizinkan (0.015 mm per 120 mm).

Pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, matematika memainkan peran penting untuk menguasai mata pelajaran yang berhubungan dengan ilmu-ilmu keteknikan dan sains. Salah satu kemampuan terpenting dalam matematika adalah kemampuan berhitung (numerik). Kemampuan numerik yang baik akan mempermudah siswa untuk mempelajari mata pelajaran lainnya disekolah. Penelitian ini dilakakukan berdasarkan rendahnya kemampuan siswa SMK khususnya kemampuan numerik siswa SMK yang mendukung pelajaran keteknikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesahihan alat ukur yang digunakan sekolah untuk menguji kemampuan numerik siswa. Analisis dilakukan terhadap parameter item dari tes kemampuan numerik (kesulitan & daya beda) nilai yang dapat diterima, butir-butir soal-soal numerik yang efektif untuk digunakan untuk pengukuran, tingkat kesesuaian butir soal (item fit), dan indikator validitas uji kemampuan numerik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto, Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data secara kuantitatif pendekatan teori respon butir model logistik dua parameter dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman R, eirt dan SPSS. Hasil analisis akan membantu sekolah dalam membuat program-program yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Butir-butir soal yang ada, efektif untuk digunakan dalam pengukuran, dibuktikan dengan hasil korelasi Item-Total signifikan untuk semua butir soal. Penelitian di masa depan diharapkan sebuah tes dapat memetakan kemampuan siswa secara baik pada dimensi pengetahuan taxonomy bloom dan variable-variabel kemampuan numerik lainnya.

The purpose of this study is to look at the needs and potential of the Department of Automotive Engineering for the video tutorial assessment model as an evaluation of learning and achievement of student learning targets in LEO course practice. Vocational education in Indonesia is one example or concrete evidence that the Indonesian government is serious about building a smart generation to realize the ideals of the nation. Educating the life of the nation means continuing to develop the quality of education so that Indonesia is not left behind by other nations, especially in the field of education. Vocational education in Indonesia requires professional educators who are able to direct learners towards predetermined learning goals. A professional educator certainly understands that the learning process consists of three main stages namely, preparation, implementation and evaluation. Student competency evaluation consists of 3 components that must be evaluated, cognitive competency evaluation, affective competency evaluation, and psychomotor competency evaluation. The research will be conducted using descriptive research methods, where this research will describe the need for video tutorials as one of the models to measure the psychomotor abilities of students in LEO courses. From the descriptive research that has been conducted on the needs analysis of Psychomotor Assessment Based on Video Tutorials Based on Manualbooks on Vocational Education to Improve Learning Targets Achievement, it can be seen that LEO students in making video tutorials as a material for evaluating psychomotor competencies reap good responses from students and lecturers. Based on this research, it can be seen that automotive engineering students at the Padang State University Engineering Faculty are greatly assisted in the process of assessing one's own abilities, and lecturers can also assess student competency as a whole from each topic that has been studied or comprehensively.

The goal of this research was to know contribution between exogenous variable to the endogenous variable. Exogenous variable was practical of production unit (X1), soft skill (X2), and on the job training (X3), whereas endogenous variable was student’s competency (Y) and work readiness (Z). This research used quantitative approach with survey method. The research population was students in the Culinary Study Program at Batam Tourism Polytechnic. Sample in this research was 122 respondents that determined by using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection technique used questionnaire and documentation, data analysis technique that used in this research was path analysis. Test in the path analysis was divided into two groups, simultaneously and individually. The research result showed that there was significant contribution between practical experience of production unit, soft skill, and on the job training to the student competence for 99%, and significant contribution between practical experience of production unit, soft skill, on the job training, and student competence to the work readiness for 99,2%.

This study aims to look at the effect of discovery learning models on students' critical and cognitive thinking abilities on the ability to solve programming problems. This study used a quasi-experimental method conducted on students of the Information Systems study program. The subjects used were morning class students as the experimental class and the evening class as the control class 2018/2019 with 60 students. Data collection techniques is essay test questions critical thinking skills. Data analysis is using t test. The results of the analysis show that tcounted > t table and the significant value is smaller than 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the Discovery Learning model on the critical thinking skills of Information Systems students added about the limitations, practical implications, social implications and the value of their originality

This artificial neural network research article aimed to overview the current teaching process focusing on lecturer performance using the perceptron algorithm, improving the teaching process, developing the lecturer based on the perceptron algorithm's results, evaluating the speed and accuracy of the perceptron algorithm in evaluating performance lecturer and learning the rules of the perceptron algorithm in processing assessment criteria for lecturers in tertiary institutions. In this case, the perceptron algorithm was used to recognize the questionnaire data input patterns. The perceptron algorithm was trained and tested to recognize input data patterns so that this neural network could identify input data patterns from questionnaire data.
