Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of individual factors (X?) and organizational factors (X?) on employee performance (Y) at the Banggai Islands Regency Transportation Office. The research method used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 88 employees as respondents. Data were analyzed through validity, reliability, classical assumptions (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), and multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 23. Individual factors (competence, motivation, personality, physical/mental condition) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (regression coefficient = 0.658; significance 0.000). Organizational factors (leadership, organizational culture, work environment, reward system) also had a significant effect with a coefficient of 0.234 (significance 0.000). Simultaneously, both factors explained 64.6% of the variation in performance (R² = 0.646), while the rest were influenced by external factors. The research instrument was declared valid (item-total correlation > 0.30) and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.70). The classical assumption test met the requirements of normality, no multicollinearity (VIF < 10), and homocedasticity. The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance of developing individual competencies as well as improving organizational systems to improve employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work facilities, job placement, and employability on employee performance at the Central Sulawesi Provincial Youth and Sports Office. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis to determine the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents who were active employees in the agency. The results showed that partially or simultaneously, the three independent variables—work facilities, work placement, and work ability—had a significant effect on employee performance. Adequate work facilities provide comfort and support the effectiveness of the task. The right job placement can increase motivation and productivity, while high work ability reflects individual competence in completing tasks well. These findings indicate the importance of managerial strategies that focus on the provision of facilities, competency-based placement, and employee capacity building in an effort to improve organizational performance. This study recommends that the Youth and Sports Office continuously develop an integrated human resource management system to support the optimization of employee performance.

Abstract

The development of environmental issues and consumer awareness of sustainability encourages MSMEs to adopt green markpractices toes to attract buying interest. In Palu City, MSMEs such as Chicken Bim are starting to implement environmentally friendly strategies, such as the use of organic materials or biodegradable packaging, which can form a positive brand image. However, the extent to which green marketing and brand image affect consumer buying interest still needs to be further studied. This study aims to find out and analyze both simultaneously and partially the influence of green marketing and brand image on consumer buying interest in MSMEs in Palu City, especially in Chicken Bim. This research is a survey research type, whose samples are taken through purposive sampling techniques. Meanwhile, the respondents were Chicken Bim consumers who made takeaway or take-away purchases as many as 97 respondents. The method used is quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that simultaneously there is a significant influence of green marketing and brand image on consumer buying interest in MSMEs in Palu City. Partially, there is a significant influence of green marketing on consumer buying interest in MSMEs in Palu City. Partially, there is a significant influence of brand image on consumer buying interest in MSMEs in Palu City.

Abstract

Most Indonesian people assume that investment can only be done by people with high incomes so they do not realize how important it is to have good financial management. However, there are still individuals who have high incomes but do not have investment planning for their personal finances. This study aims to determine and analyze the Influence of Gender, Financial Literacy, Financial Attitudes, and Income on Investment Decisions in Students in Jember Regency. This type of research uses a quantitative method with a sample size of 145 respondents and uses a Non-probability sampling technique with a Purposive sampling technique, using a data collection technique in the form of a questionnaire to respondents. The data analysis technique for this study uses instrument testing, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing and the coefficient of determination R2. The results of the analysis obtained show that Gender, Financial Literacy, Financial Attitudes, and Income have a positive and significant effect on Investment Decisions in Students in Jember Regency, the results of the R2 determination coefficient test are the level of contribution of influence of 63% and 37% variables outside the study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Return On Equity (ROE), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) on the return of state-owned banking stocks in Indonesia for the 2020-2024 period. The research approach uses a quantitative method with an explanatory design. The research sample consists of four state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI, and BTN. The data analysis technique used panel data regression with the Common Effect Model (CEM) model selected through the Chow test and the Lagrange Multiplier test. The results of the study show that simultaneously ROE, EPS, and PER do not have a significant effect on stock returns. However, partially, only ROE has a significant positive effect on stock returns, while EPS and PER have no significant effect. These findings indicate that stock investment decisions in the state-owned banking sector are not enough based only on financial fundamental ratios, but require consideration of macroeconomic factors and market sentiment. This research is expected to be a reference for investors, financial managers, and subsequent researchers in understanding the determinants of banking stock performance in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the klotok boat sea transportation policy on the Penajam-Balikpapan route in supporting community mobility and economic activities. Furthermore, this study also seeks to analyze the factors supporting the implementation of said policy. These objectives are aligned with the endeavor to gain a comprehensive understanding of the policy in question. This study adopts a qualitative approach, with data collection conducted through in-depth interviews with various relevant parties, including policymakers, operators, and community users. The collected data were then thematically analyzed to identify key patterns and themes, thereby providing an in-depth understanding of the phenomena under investigation. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the klotok boat policy is highly effective in providing an affordable and efficient alternative transportation solution, while significantly empowering the local economy. This mode of transportation successfully meets the urgent needs between Penajam and Balikpapan, offering a travel time of approximately 45 minutes and a fare of Rp 10,000/passenger, contributing to transportation cost savings and demonstrating stable daily occupancy rates. Its success is also supported by an increase in boat owners' income (30-40%) and the creation of over 120 new jobs. In conclusion, the main supporting factors for the implementation of the Sea Transportation Policy for Klotok Boats in Penajam - Balikpapan are the urgent community need for alternative transportation, the positive disposition of implementers and users, and an organized bureaucratic structure. This urgent need, support for the local economy, and the strategic potential in the development of IKN are key drivers. Despite resource limitations such as an aging fleet and limited dock capacity, the commitment of operators and public acceptance are essential for the sustainability and effectiveness of the klotok boat sea transportation policy's implementation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh implementasi teknologi informasi dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara. Fokus utama studi ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan memahami kontribusi individual serta interaksi kedua variabel independen tersebut dalam menjelaskan peningkatan kinerja di lingkungan pemerintahan daerah. Studi ini dilakukan untuk memberikan wawasan empiris mengenai faktor-faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi produktivitas dan efektivitas aparatur sipil negara dalam mengelola keuangan dan aset daerah. Guna menjawab tujuan penelitian, penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer yang dikumpulkan secara langsung melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden. Sampel penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 61 pegawai yang bekerja di Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda, memanfaatkan bantuan perangkat lunak statistik SPSS untuk mengolah dan menginterpretasikan hasil temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan yang signifikan terkait pengaruh kedua variabel independen. Secara individual, baik implementasi teknologi informasi (X1) maupun kompetensi (X2) terbukti memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja pegawai. Secara spesifik, teknologi informasi (X1) menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0.003 dan koefisien regresi terstandardisasi sebesar 0.371. Sementara itu, kompetensi (X2) menunjukkan pengaruh yang lebih kuat dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 dan koefisien regresi terstandardisasi 0.555. Hasil uji F memperkuat temuan ini dengan membuktikan bahwa implementasi teknologi informasi dan kompetensi secara simultan (bersama-sama) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai F-hitung yang tinggi sebesar 119.339 dan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0.805. Implikasi dari nilai R2 ini adalah bahwa 80.5% dari total variasi kinerja pegawai dapat dijelaskan secara komprehensif oleh kombinasi teknologi informasi dan kompetensi, menunjukkan model prediksi yang kuat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and formulate effective strategies for enhancing Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD), specifically from retribution on regional asset utilization. It also seeks to identify the supporting and hindering factors in implementing these strategies in Penajam Paser Utara Regency. The study's primary focus is on how the local government can maximize potential revenue from its owned assets to achieve greater fiscal independence. To accomplish these objectives, the research employed a qualitative approach with comprehensive data collection methods, including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with various key stakeholders, such as the Head of the Regional Finance and Asset Agency, the Head and Sub-Head of the Asset Division, Staff from the Retribution Collection Division, Business Operators, and the General Public. All collected data were subsequently analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which allowed the researchers to identify patterns, themes, and inter-variable relationships in depth. The research findings indicate that Penajam Paser Utara Regency has implemented a comprehensive strategy to increase revenue from regional asset utilization retribution. This strategy encompasses efforts to improve taxpayer compliance and strict law enforcement, optimize regional asset management, leverage information technology for efficiency, and foster collaboration and synergy among local government units (SKPDs) and relevant parties, all supported by clear collection procedures. The main supporting factors for the strategy's success include effective existing policies, improved asset management, implemented technological innovations, and positive service quality that satisfies the community. Despite these efforts, the study also identified significant hindering factors. Key challenges include the sub-optimal utilization of regional assets, insufficient socialization and understanding among retribution payers regarding their obligations, and compliance issues often influenced by economic fluctuations. Therefore, this research concludes that to maximize the PAD potential from regional asset utilization retribution, Penajam Paser Utara Regency needs to address these obstacles through more targeted and sustainable efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the human resource (HR) constraints in the implementation of the Pesantren Accounting Guidelines (PAP) at Pondok Pesantren Modern (PPM) Al-Istiqamah Ngata Baru, Central Sulawesi. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and analysis of the pesantren’s financial documents. The findings reveal that limited accounting competencies among staff, lack of PAP socialization and training, absence of professional accountant assistance, and multiple work responsibilities are the main barriers to implementation. In addition, low digital literacy and reliance on manual systems increase the risk of errors and reduce the quality of financial reporting. These limitations lead to low accountability, restricted access to funding, and declining stakeholder trust. The study highlights that human resources are the key determinant in the successful implementation of PAP. Recommendations include regular training, professional mentoring, the use of simple accounting applications, and institutional support from pesantren leaders, government, and professional accounting bodies.
