Abstract: The purpose of the research is to describe the learning process by using the method of learning Index Card Match to increase interest and achievement of learning Mathematics at third grade students of SD N Wirokerten in the academic year 2016/2017. Subject of this research is third grade students of SD N Wirokerten, consist of 38 students. The data collecting technique are observation and test. The result of this research showed that interest and achievement of learning Mathematics using method of learning Index Card Match has improved. This is proven based of the results of data analysis on pre cycle studentâ€™s interest is 40,52%. In the cycle I increased to 57,37%. In the cycle II increased to 81,57%. In the pre cycle average score of the students results is 59,29 or as many 34,21% of students who reach KKM. In the cycle I has increased with an average score of the students results is 64,59 or as many 47,37% of students who reach KKM. In the cycle II has increased with an average score of the students results is 81,14 or as many 73,68% of students who reach KKM. The conclusion of the research is applying the method of learning Index Card Match can improve interest and achievement of learning Mathematics at third grade students of SD N Wirokerten in the academic year 2016/2017.

Abstract: The objectives of the study descriptively are to know (1) the category of learning achievement of social science subject that the teaching used STAD and (2) the category of learning achievement of social science subject that the teaching conventional, while the objective of the study comparatively is to know the difference of learning achievement of social science subject that was taught by using STAD and conventional teaching method. The type of the study was pre experimental design. Data collection data used documentation and test. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing used z-test that was started by homogeny variance test and normality test. This study shows that the results of analysis descriptively show that (1) the learning achievement of social science subject that the teaching used STAD was in fair category with the mean score 18.60 and (2) the category of learning achievement of social science subject using conventional with the mean score 16. Comparatively, the result of computation analysis shows that the score of zobs = 5.80 with the score of ztabie = 1.65, it means that there was difference very significant of learning achievement of social science subject that was taught by using STAD and conventional teaching method.

Abstract: This research aims to develop an training model of smash technique in the volley ball sport. The developed model is proposed to become the trainerâ€™s guidance in conducting the training of smash technique for volleyball sport. The study is elaborated by using nine steps by adapting the research stages of Borg & Gall explained as follows:Â (1) Research and information collection, (2) Planning, (3) Develop preliminary form of product, (4) Develop preliminary form of product, (5) Main product revision, (6) Main filed testing, (7) Operasional product revision, (8) Operational field testing, and (9) Final product revision. Product trial is performed at Student Activity Units (UKM) of volley ball in Universitas Tunas Pembangunan Surakarta. usage trial is done at the volleyball club of Dhaksinarga Gunung Kidul. Instrument of data collection applied is elaborated as follows: interview guidance, observation guidance, training model effectiveness. The implemented data analysis methods include quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of research is the form of 6 training model of smash technique in the volleyball sport. From the data analysis of the expert judgement ratings, it can be conclude that the model of smash technique in the volley ball sport is rated as good and effective, so it is feasible to be used.Â

Abstract: This study aims to (1) examine the effectiveness of the story to name character education which is focused on the value of devotion of worship, honesty, responsibility, and caring (2) to test the effectiveness of the story to improve cognitive learning outcomes in social studies. This research is a quasi experimental research with pre-test and post-test control group design. The independent variable in this research is the social studies learning method by reading the story. The dependent variable is the result of social studies learning and character values. The moderator variable is the personality type (introvert and extrovert). This research was conducted in class V SDN Nanggulan I Kulonprogo as experimental group and class V SDN Jatisarono Kulonprogo as control group. The subjects of this study were all students obtained by test and non-test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) at 95% significance level (p = 0,05). The results showed thatÂ there were significant differences in social studies learning outcomes and student character values between the experimental class and control class. In the experimental class, social studies score increased by 2.94 (11.53%), 1.88 (5.66%), honesty 1.19 (5.66%), responsibility 3,57 (9.83%), concern for 1.58 (9.55%). In the control class, the score of social studies learning achievement was 0.95 (3.75%), 0.09 (0.34%) observance, honesty 2.39 (12.38%), responsibility 0.09 (0, 25%), concern 0.09 (0.55%). From the comparison, it can be concluded that the increase of IPS learning result score and student character values in the experimental class is higher than the control class. In other words, the use of effective stories to improve social studies learning outcomes and character values.

Abstract: It is undeniable that The success of a learning process can only be seen through student learning outcomes. Good learning outcomes are assumed to be the result of a good classroom learning process as well. The learning process will be success by the implementation of appropriate method or learning media. This study is a Classroom Action Research using Kemmis and Taggart Model. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 4 Elementary Students by using songs as a medium of learning. The results obtained that song is an effective learning media to be used in Social Study learning since it can help students in memorizing the learning materials as wells as carrying out active and fun learning.

Abstract: This research and development aims to (1) Develop appropriate learning toolkit model direct instruction in area and perimeter section for primary school. (2) To determine the feasibility of appropriate learning toolkit which developed. The development method used in this study followed the procedures suggested by Borg and Gall which consist of five steps, namely (1) exploration study, (2) develop preliminary form of product, (3) expert validation and product revision, (4) limited field testing and product revision, and (5) main field testing and the final product. The learning toolkit had been validated by experts and has been tested twice: the limited field testing against 5 students and the main field testing against the 20 students at SDN Kranggan. Results of the research is the learning toolkit entitled The Learning Toolkit Model Direct Instructin Based Computer and Handout Photoâ€™s in Area and Perimeter Section for Primary School. The learning toolkit consists of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, instructional media, and an assesment. Based on the validation results, the learning toolkit was proper to use. The average score are average score of lesson plans 3.37 (good), average score of student worksheetsÂ 3.28 (good), average score instructional media from material expert 3.22 (good), average score instructional media from media expert 3.94 (very good), average score of assesment 3.33 (good), and average score questionnaire responses of students is 35.56 (very good). This result is also supported by the average achievement test scores of students was 83 with the number of students who achieve minimum mastery criteria is 90%. This test score had exceeded the minimum mastery criteria which definited by the school, the minimum mastery criteria is 75.

Abstract: This research purpose to describing the effectiveness of learning and skills of intensive reading to the student on grade 3rd in Monggang Bantul Elementary School which uses cooperative learning model of talking stick type compared to lecture method. Model cooperative of a talking stick type is a method of learning who uses a stick (talking stick) as a tool to turn the direction to reveal the content of the reading (intensive reading). The type of this research is a quasi-experiment. Data analysis using a testt with the result tarithmetic (1,557) and p = 0,126 who show there is a significant difference between using a method of talking stick learning with lecture method at learning of intensive reading. Seen from the results of average talking stick method has an average 23,4348 while lecturing method has an average 19,6923, with a model of cooperative learning talking stick type effective uses in learning of reading intensive.Â

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to find out wether Quantum Teaching model can improve science achievement students of class V SD Negeri Pilahan Yogyakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017. It is an Classroom Action Research. The result shows improvement on students achievement. Prior to the study, the students achievement reaches 44% with average value 69. In the first cycle, reaches 62% with average value 75. More significantly,in the second cycle it reaches 87% with average value 87. In addition, the learning process 64% in first cycle and increase to 82% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the Quantum Teaching model can improve students achievement and learning process.

Abstract: Implementation of Character Education Through Local Wisdom Values in SD Taman Siswa Jetis Yogyakarta. Research Grants Kopertis Region V. Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University. This study aims to: ( 1) Determine the implementation of character education through the values of local wisdom in SD Taman Siswa Jetis Yogyakarta, ( 2 ) determine the obstacles in the implementation of character education through the values of local wisdom in SD Taman Siswa Jetis Yogyakarta, and ( 3) to identify a solution to solve bottlenecks in the implementation of character education through the values of local wisdom in SD Taman Siswa Jetis Yogyakarta. This study used qualitative methods. To collect the data the researchers used a technique -depth interviews and direct observation techniques . Step-by- step analysis of the data using the model of Miles and Huberman , namely the presentation of data , data reduction , and confirmation, while the data validity tests include tests of internal validity , external validity , reliability, and objectivity. The results showed that the implementation of character education through the values of local wisdom in SD Taman Siswa Jetis realized in the form of learning related to local cultures, such as dance, musical, artistic painting or drawing, and learning the Java language. Besides, in the form of classroom learning, the implementation of the values of local wisdom was also done in the form of habits in school, such as 5S (smiles, greetings, greetings, manners). Barriers in implementing character education through the values of local wisdom is in addition to the factors advances in information technology that is misused by learners, family factors that less supervise the behavior of learners and communities that do not support the achievement of the goal of character education also influences, while a factor of teacher is teacher competence is lacking, especially new teachers in implementing the values of local wisdom. The solution to solve bottlenecks in the implementation of character education through the values of local wisdom is that by establishing a qualified teacher and professional manner to include teachers in professional training at local and national levels and to improve synergy between schools, families, and communities.
