Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to increase students' interest in thesubject of Natural Science. The method used in this research wasClassroom Action Research (CAR) by using learning Quantum TeachingModel. The result of the research showed increases in students’ interest inthe subject of Natural Sciences on each cycle. From the results obtainedonthe pre cycle, students who were interested in studying Natural Scienceamounted to 2 students, and on cycle I, the number of students who tookan interest in studying Natural Science is 4 students, whileon cycle II, thefigure of the students who were interested in studying Natural Science is 6students.Keywords: student interest, natural science learning (ipa), quantumteaching model.Abstrak : Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajarsiswa terhadap mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Metodedalam penelitian ini ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) denganmenggunakan pembelajaran Model Quantum Teaching. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran terpadu pada pendidikan anak usia dini dan pengaruh pembelajaran terpadu terhadap aspek perkembangan kognitif anak. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian metode kualitatif dengan dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang mendeskripsikan tentang pemahaman terhadap seseorang diberbagai situasi dimana akan menjadi bagian utama dalam penggambarannya. Teknik pengumpulan data pengamatan peran serta, di mana peneliti berfungsi sebagai instrumen yang tak terpisahkan dengan subjek penelitian untuk melakukan wawancara mendalam, pengamatan terus-menerus dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model analisis interaktif yang dilakukan melalui empat kegiatan utama yakni: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Proses pembelajaran terpadu yang dilakukan belum memperlihatkan keterkaitan antara tema dan dilakukan melalui tahapan: kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pengaruh pembelajaran terhadap perkem-bangan anak, bidang yang paling menonjol adalah bidang sosial emosional dengan pengenalan “rewards”Kata kunci: pembelajaran terpadu, pendidikan anak usia dini, aspek perkembangan anak Abstract: This study aims to investigate: (1) the implementation of integrated learning in early childhood education, and (2) the impact of integrated learning on the aspects of children’s cognitive development. The study employed the qualitative method with the phenomenological approach in which the illustration of understanding people in different situation becomes the essential point of the data. The data were collected through participant observations, in which the researcher functioned as the instrument inseparable from the research subjects to carry out in-depth inter-views, continuous observations, and documentation study. The data analysis technique was the interactive analysis model conducted in four main activities, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The research findings are as follows. (1) The implemented integrated learning process has not shown the relation among themes and was conducted through the stages of activity planning, implementation, and evaluation. In terms of the impact of learning on children’s development, the most outstanding areas are the emotional and social areas using the introduction to rewards.Keywords: integrated learning, early childhood education, aspects of children’s cognitive development

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to design the development of Elementary School Teachers Competency Enhancement Program in Thematic Learning at Lower Grade Through Portfolio Assessment . In detail, these objectives can be formulated as follows: 1). To determine the competence of beginning elementary school teachers on thematic learning and their understanding of the assessment portfolio. 2 . To develop teachers' understanding of thematic learning through portfolio assessment in accordance with the development of low-grade participants didi Elementary School. 3). To develop the skills of teachers in preparing lesson planning, implementing and assessing the thematic learning. 4). Teachers can develop thematic learning through portfolio assessment that can improve students' science process skills. The results of the initial competency questionnaire on trainee teachers, both in the control group and the experimental group showed that the implementation of thematic learning curriculum in elementary school in Nanga Pinoh District Melawi Regency has not accomplished in accordance with the purpose of the curriculum. The thematic learning competency of Low-grade elementary school teacher in Nanga Pinoh District still needs to be improved. This is indicated by the results of a questionnaire that presents a number of 2.46 for experimental group and 2.13 for the the control group. With these figures, both the experimental group and the control group both at qualification enough . While the results of the teacher competencies after training questionnaire, both the control group and the experimental group showed a significant increase. From the test results showed that the value of 3.34 for the experimental group and the control group of 3.10 , and both are in good and satisfactory qualification. The presence of significant developments between competence questionnaire results showed that the beginning and end of the training model designed by researchers in order to improve the competence of teachers is quite successful and hit the target. The model of the training program is to improve elementary school teachers' competence in thematic learning through portfolio assessment. This is supported by the results of the assessment portfolio to document learning steps thematic, thematic syllabus and lesson plans as well as the implementation of thematic learning in the classroom. Of the recapitulation of all components of the assessment and the assessment showed that the scores of participants is quite high, reaching 3.29. This means that the training qualification was good and satisfying .Key Words: Teacher Competency Enhancement Programme, Thematic learning, Portfolio.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain pengembangan program peningkatan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran tematik di kelas rendah melalui asesmen portofolio. Secara rinci tujuan tersebut dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut: 1) Untuk mengetahui kompetensi awal guru-guru sekolah dasar tentang pembelajaran tematik dan pemahaman mereka mengenai asesmen portofolio; 2) Untuk mengembangkan pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran tematik melalui asesmen portofolio yang sesuai dengan perkembangan peserta didik kelas rendah sekolah dasar; 3) Untuk mengembangkan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran, melaksanakannya, dan melakukan penilaian dalam pembelajaran tematik; 4) Guru dapat mengembangkan pembelajaran tematik melalui asesmen portofolio sehingga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Hasil angket kompetensi awal pada guru peserta pelatihan, baik pada kelompok kontrol maupun kelompok eksperiman menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum pembelajaran tematik di SD Kecamatan Nanga Pinoh Kabupaten Melawi belum terlaksana sesuai dengan maksud kurikulum tersebut. Kompetensi guru kelas rendah SD se-Kecamatan Nanga Pinoh tentang pembelajaran tematik masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil angket yang menyajikan angka 2,46 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 2,13 untuk kelompok kontrol. Dengan angka tersebut, baik kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok kontrol keduanya berada pada kualifikasi cukup. Sementara hasil angket kompetensi akhir yang dimiliki guru peserta pelatihan, setelah mengikuti pelatihan, baik pada kelompok kontrol maupun kelompok eksperiman menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Dari hasil tes akhir menunjukkan bahwa nilai untuk kelompok eksperimen sebesar 3,34 dan untuk kelompok kontrol sebesar 3,10 serta keduanya berada pada kualifikasi baik dan memuaskan. Adanya perkembangan yang signifikan antara hasil angket kompetensi awal dan akhir menunjukkan bahwa model pelatihan yang dirancang oleh peneliti dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi guru cukup berhasil dan mengena sasaran. Model pelatihan dimaksud adalah mengacu pada program peningkatan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran tematik melalui asesmen portofolio. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil asesmen portofolio terhadap dokumen langkah-langkah pembelajaran tematik, silabus dan RPP tematik serta implementasi pembelajaran tematik di kelas. Dari hasil rekapitulasi semua komponen penilaian dan asesmen menunjukkan bahwa skor peserta pelatihan cukup tinggi yakni mencapai 3,29. Ini berarti bahwa kualifikasi pelatihan ini baik dan memuaskan. Kata Kunci : program peningkatan kompetensi guru, pembelajaran tematik, portofolio.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determineof learning model based Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) about the comparation and scale to upgraded of the problem solving student by development research. Developing of learning model for the research has used by Borg and Gall model until seventh phase.. The study sample is 23 students. Polya's fourstep problem-solving, the problem solving ability of students in the lowest pretest on implementation planning steps and look back, at this stage only 20% -30% of students who did it. While the identification and implementation stage is at 60% -100%. Problem solving ability of students at posttest can be described with a percentage of 50% -100%. The effectiveness of the learning model and the RME-based learning instruments seen from the results of learning and student activities. Before learning to use an EMR-based learning model implemented study results showed an average of 64.3913, while after learning to use the RME-based learning model study results showed an average of 73.0435. An increase of 8.6522 is quite significant, as well as qualitative process based on observations of researchers studied experienced significant improvement, it is seen from the student activity that is getting better at every meeting. Based on observations, the percentage increase in student activity relevant to the learning activities of 6.775% and a decrease in the activity of the students that are not relevant to the learning activities of 4.6%, as the percentage of student activity that is relevant to the learning activity is greater than the percentage of students who are not relevant then this suggests that RME-based learning model has effectively improve student learning activities in the classroom.Keywords: learning model, RME, the problem solvingAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh model pembelajaran matematika berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) tentang topik perbandingan dan skala yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, melalui penelitian pengembangan. Pengembangan model pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Borg and Gall sampai pada tahap ketujuh. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa. Berdasarkan empat langkah pemecahan masalah polya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada pelaksanaan pretes terendah pada langkah perencanaan dan melihat kembali, pada tahap ini hanya 20%-30% siswa yang melakukannya. Sedangkan tahap identifikasi dan pelaksanaan berada pada 60%-100%. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada postest dapat digambarkan dengan persentase 50%-100%. Efektifitas model pembelajaran dan instrumen pembelajaran berbasis RME dilihat dari hasil belajar dan aktifitas siswa. Sebelum pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis RME terlaksana hasil belajarnya menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 64,3913, sedangkan setelah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis RMEtersebut hasil belajarnya menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 73,0435. Peningkatan sebesar 8,6522 tersebut cukup berarti, begitu juga secara kualitatif proses belajar berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti mengalami peningkatan yang berarti, hal ini dilihat dari aktivitas siswa yang semakin membaik pada setiap pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, persentase peningkatan aktivitas siswa yang relevan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran sebesar 6,775 % dan penurunan aktivitas siswa yang tidak relevan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran sebesar 4,6 %, karena persentase aktivitas siswa yang relevan dengan pembelajaran lebih besar daripada persentase aktivitas siswa yang tidak relevan maka hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis RME telah efektif meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran siswa di dalam kelas.Kata kunci : model pembelajaran, RME, pemecahan masalah

Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this study was the lack of students learning motivation. This research was conducted in SDN 18 Tubung with the aim to increase the motivation in learning science subject by using Talking Stick model. This study was classroom action research with the 14 people of fourth grade students as the study subjects. The results of the study could be seen from the results of the learning evaluation, in the assessment cycle I and II, where in the first cycle student motivation was only 57.62% but then increased to 69.05% in second cycle. The acquisition of the evaluation study shown the average grade 55.72%, while during the used of Talking Stick mode:l the learning process reached 58.33% in the first cycle, 77.38% in the second cycle. Furthermore the average grade of learning evaluation was 75.72%. The result shown the 11.43 % improvement of motivation in cycle I and II. And the aspect of valuation models talking stick an increase of 19.05%. The average grade obtained by the student in the learning evaluation results in an increase of 20%. Based on the above results it concluded that, there is an increase in students' motivation after the measures by using learning models Talking Stick.Keywords: learning motivation, learning models talking stickAbstrak : Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 18 Tubung dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Talking Stick. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 14 orang. Hasil penelitian dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam ini terlihat dari hasil evaluasi belajar yang diperoleh oleh siswa itu sendiri, dalam penilaian pada siklus I dan II, aspek Motivasi belajar mendapatkan persentase sebesar 57.62% pada siklus I dan 69.05% pada siklus II, perolehan pada hasil evaluasi belajar, rata-rata kelas sebesar 55.72%, sedangkan pada aspek model Talking Stick dalam proses pembelajaran mendapatkan persentase sebesar 58.33% pada siklus I, 77.38% pada siklus II dan rata-rata kelas pada perolehan hasil evaluasi belajar mendapatkan 75.72%. Jadi hasil peningkatan yang ada pada siklus I dan II pada aspek motivasi mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11.43%. Dan pada aspek penilaian model talking stick mengalami peningkatan sebesar 19.05%. rata-rata kelas yang diperoleh siswa pada hasil evaluasi belajar terjadi peningkatan sebesar 20%. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa, terdapat peningkatan pada motivasi belajar siswa setelah diadakan tindakan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Talking Stick.Kata kunci: motivasi belajar, model pembelajaran talking stick

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research were to: (1) Find out studentslearning outcome before and after been taught with process skill approachin the class IV SDN 03 Nanga Pinoh; (2) Find out students learningoutcome before and after been taught with conventional learning methodin the class IV SDN 03 Nanga Pinoh; (3) Find out significant influenceof students learning outcome science subject used skill process approachand conventional learning method in the class IV SDN 03 Nanga Pinoh.This research was quasi experimental, that used Nonequivalent ControlGroup Design. The research population was all students in grade IV SDN03 Nanga Pinoh. The research sample was class IV A consist of 24students as a experiment class and class IV B consist 23 students as acontrol class. The result of research showed that: (1) The studentslearning outcome before and after been taught with process skill approachreach the averages value 30,834 and 73,75; (2) The students learningoutcome before and after been taught with conventional learning methodreach the averages value 30,435 and 33,043; (3) There was significantinfluence on learning outcome of science subject used skill processapproach and conventional learning method thit ttab, (11,837 2,074).Keywords: Process Skill Approach, Learning Outcome.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui hasil belajar IPAsiswa sebelum dan sesudah diajarkan dengan pendekatan keterampilanproses di kelas IV SD Negeri 03 Nanga Pinoh; 2) Mengetahui hasilbelajar IPA siswa sebelum dan sesudah diajarkan dengan metodekonvensional di kelas IV SD Negeri 03 Nanga Pinoh; 3) Mengetahuipengaruh yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA menggunakan pendekatanketerampilan proses dan metode konvensional di kelas IV SD Negeri 03Nanga Pinoh. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengandesain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian yaituseluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 03 Nanga Pinoh. Sampel penelitianyaitu kelas IV A berjumlah 24 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IV Bberjumlah 23 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa: 1) Hasil belajar IPA siswa sebelum dan sesudah diajarkanpendekatan keterampilan proses rata-rata 30,834 dan 73,75; 2) Hasil belajar IPA siswa sebelum dan sesudah diajarkan metode konvensionalrata-rata 30,435 dan 33,043; 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan padahasil belajar IPA menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses danmetode konvensional thitung ttabel (11,837 2,074).Kata Kunci: Pendekatan keterampilan proses, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

Abstract: The main purpose of this research is to apply the model of CooperativeLearning of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in order to improve studentlearning performance in natural science subject in fifth gradeat Public ElementarySchool 03 Ella Hulu, MenukungSub-District, Melawi Regency, Year 2013/2014. Themethod of this research was Classroom Action Research by using observation andtest as data collection techniques. The research instrument used was observation sheetand written test. Based on the observation sheet, on the first cycle the improvement ofstudents’ performance achieved 59,21%, whileon the second cycle the value obtained80.26% and graded as ‘very good’. On the other hand, the success criteria of thestudents' learning result of the first cycle was 65.84%, while on the second cycle, thelearning result reached 100%. In conclusion, applying Cooperative Learning model oftype Numbered Heads Together (NHT) to Natural Science subject in fifth grade atElementary School 03 Ella Hulu, Menuking Sub-District, Melawi Regency hasresulted in the increasing of student performance.Keywords: Type Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Natural Science Study Resultsin Elementary SchoolAbstrak: Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan penerapan modelCooperative Learning Tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) agar dapatmeningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V SDN 03 Ella HuluKecamatan Menukung Kabupaten Melawi Tahun Ajaran 2013/ 2014. Metodepenelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data yakniobservasi dan tes. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan lembar observasi dan testertulis. Hasil Peningkatan lembar observasi siswa siklus I diperoleh 59,21%, padasiklus II diperoleh 80,26% dengan kategori sangat baik, sementara kriteriakeberhasilan tindakan hasil belajar siswa siklus I diperoleh 65,84%, siklus II hasilbelajar diperoleh 100% sehingga hasil belajar siswa dengan melakukan penerapanmodel cooperative learning tipe numbered heads together (NHT) pada pembelajaranIlmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Ella HuluKecamatan Menukung Kabupaten Melawi menjadi meningkat.Kata Kunci : Tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Hasil Belajar IPA di SD.

Abstract

Abstrak : This study aims to improve student learning activities in science subjects in third grade elementary school. The research used is classroom action research (CAR), the procedure of this study uses PTK model Kurt Lewin. The study was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of the implementation of teaching and learning activities in the first cycle were 63.88%, the second cycle was 88.57%, and the increase from cycle I to cycle II was 24.69%. The results of classical student learning activities in the first cycle were 64.70%, the second cycle was 88.23%, and the increase from cycle I to cycle II was 23.53%. Keywords: Learning Activities Students, Take and Give Learning Models, Science Learning Abstrak: : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas III SD. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), Prosedur penelitian ini mengunakan model PTK Kurt Lewin. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan (planning), pelaksaan tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting). Hasil keterlaksaan kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) pada siklus I sebesar 63.88%, siklus II sebesar 88.57%, dan peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 24.69%. Hasil aktivitas belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 64.70%, siklus II sebesar 88.23%, dan peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 23.53%. Abstract

This is an experimental research design, i.e. visualistic teaching and learning with two ways design. Due to two ways asymptotic significancy and absolute extreme value obtained that visual competencies for sampel normally distributed and homogeny classified sampels, also no treatment effect among subjects. This research results explain that after the first visualistic treatment, there is no difference in visualizing problems, but significantly difference after the second and the third visualistic competencies.This research conclusions:(1) visual competencies are elements of chain of reasoning for achieving formal analytic competencies, (2) visual and analytic competency are parallel in solving mathematic problems, (3) vsual and analytic competency are not hierarchical, but in adequate relation, (4) solving visual-analytic problem always start from visual thinking, and then thinking analytically, (5) visual construction avtivities are mental process, i.e. abstraction of reflective of systematic visualization. This research come to suggest that: (1) teaching and learning mathematics show visual and algebra thinking activities, (2) mathematic content in teaching and learning show that visual competency is an integrated part of every study activity and not only developed for deeper content and formal analytic competency, but also oriented to visual analysis in developing creativity and ability thinking alternatively.Key Words: analytic, manipulative, deduction, visualistic, visual teahing and leraning, intuition, abstraction, mathematic argument, illusion, visual analogy.

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of the research are to: 1) to describe the study result of students in learning Indonesian language after applying the cooperative learning model type NHT withscientific-based approach; 2) To describe the study result of students in learning Indonesian after applying the conventional learning model; 3) To observe the differences in Indonesian study result which is applied by using cooperative learning model type NHT withscientific-based approach and  from the application of conventional learning model. The type of this research was Quasy Experimental Design which used The Nonequivalent Control Group Design form. The study used two classes: experimental class and control class. The population in this research were the fourth grade students of Public Elementary School Number 04 Nanga Pinoh. The sample in this research were class IV A and class IV B. The result of research showed that there were differences of study resultprior and following the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) with scientific-based approach. Prior the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT)  with scientific-based approach, the value obtained t count = 1,240 t table = 2.024. Meanwhile, subsequent to the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) with scientific-based approach the value obtained t arithmetic = 2.406 t table = 2.024.Keywords: numbered heads together (nht), scientific-based approach,Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia setelah di terapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbasis pendekatan saintifik; 2) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia setelah di terapkan model pembelajaran konvensional; 3) Mengamati perbedaan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia yang diterapkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbasis pendekatan saintifik dan penerapan model pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasy Eksperimental Design menggunakan bentuk The Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis pendekatan saintifik. Sebelum dilkukannya penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis pendekatan saintifik di peroleh t hitung = 1,240 t tabel = 2,024. Sedangkan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis pendekatan saintifik diperoleh t hitung = 2,406 t tabel = 2,024.Kata kunci: number heads together (nht), pendekatan saintifik dan hasil belajar bahasa indonesia siswa.
