Abstract

This research aims to recognize the effect of electronic word- of- mouth on purchase intention which is mediated by the brand image of Indomie instant noodles in Bandung City. It is determined if the research instrument has passed the validity and reliability tests. This method is used to collect information from respondents, or active social media users of Generation Z who have not had time to buy Indomie instant noodle products as the subject of research evaluated as many as ninety respondents. Cross-sectional or one- shot research is the information collection procedure used. Multiple linear regression information analysis was conducted using the Sobel test and SPSS type 22 equipment. The four research hypotheses that have been put forward have empirical support. The results show that brand image can act as a mediating aspect in the bond between electronic word-of-mouth and purchase intention. Meanwhile, more scholars may advocate the use of alternative inspirations that directly influence purchase intention. Managers of comparable e-commerce businesses can also benefit from the findings of this research in terms of enhancing relevant strategies to improve the quality of this characteristic.

Abstract

This study investigates the correlative effects of mutation, promotion, and role conflict on employee performance within organizational contexts. Drawing from a systematic literature review (SLR) covering research published between 2018 and 2024, the study synthesizes findings from 52 peer-reviewed articles. It explores how organizational mutations—defined as significant changes in an employee's role or responsibilities—along with promotions, influence employee performance, particularly when these factors induce role conflicts. The study highlights that while mutations can drive innovation and skill development, they also introduce uncertainty and stress, potentially reducing job satisfaction and productivity. Similarly, promotions are generally associated with increased motivation and performance but may exacerbate role conflicts, leading to decreased morale if not managed effectively. The interplay between these variables suggests that organizations must carefully balance change management, promotion strategies, and role clarity to optimize employee outcomes. The study concludes by identifying significant gaps in the literature, particularly the need for more integrated and longitudinal research to better understand these dynamics over time and across diverse organizational settings. The findings offer theoretical and practical insights, emphasizing the importance of transparent communication and support mechanisms to mitigate the adverse effects of role conflicts on employee performance

Abstract

The research aimed to examine the effects of customer reviews, price cuts, service quality, and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying behavior in e-commerce environments. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was employed, using databases like Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar to identify relevant studies. The methodology involved refining search strategies, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, and screening studies using a PRISMA flowchart, which reduced 2471 initial records to 13 final studies for analysis. The results revealed that positive customer reviews act as social proof, enhancing trust and triggering impulsive purchases. Price cuts create urgency, which, when combined with positive reviews, further enhances perceived product value and impulsive buying. High-quality service contributes to consumer satisfaction, reducing perceived risks and encouraging spontaneous purchases. Shopping lifestyle, particularly among hedonic consumers, amplifies these effects, with digital natives being especially prone to impulsive behavior due to their convenience-driven and tech-savvy tendencies. The study concluded that customer reviews, price cuts, service quality, and shopping lifestyle interact synergistically, shaping consumer impulse buying behavior, with implications for e-commerce strategies aimed at increasing sales through these factors.

Abstract

This research aims to revisit the relevance of the boundary between leadership and management in the dynamic and uncertain context of modern organizations. Using a qualitative approach based on literature review, this study explores an in-depth understanding of the role and interrelationship between the two in contemporary organizational practice. While the classical literature tends to separate leadership and management as two distinct functions, this study shows a paradigm shift towards the integration of both roles in one professional figure. The main update of this study lies in its approach that emphasizes the importance of holistic and strategic human resource development to produce managers who are also capable of being leaders. The study results show that the conceptual separation between leadership and management is increasingly irrelevant, especially in high-performance organizations. Therefore, there is a need for organizational strategies that combine the two as an integrated competency in training, career development, and performance evaluation. The main conclusion confirms that organizational success is determined by the synergy, not the separation, between leadership and management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of green packaging on purchase decision, with environmental awareness as a moderating variable, in the context of Aqua bottled water products in Indonesia. Design/methodology/approach – The research model was tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with a sample of 200 Aqua consumers in Indonesia. The data were collected through an online survey and analyzed using WarpPLS software version 7.0. Findings – The results show that green packaging has a significant positive effect on purchase decision (β=0.533; P<0.001), and environmental awareness also significantly influences purchase decision (β=0.333; P<0.001). Furthermore, environmental awareness positively moderates the effect of green packaging on purchase decision (β=0.160; P=0.010). Research limitations – The study focused on a single brand in one product category in Indonesia, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Future research can replicate the study in different contexts and explore other potential moderators. Practical implications – The findings suggest that green packaging is a strategic tool to attract environmentally conscious consumers. Companies should invest in sustainable packaging and communicate its benefits, especially to consumers with high environmental awareness. Originality/value – This study is the first to investigate the moderating role of environmental awareness on the effect of green packaging on purchase decision for Aqua products in Indonesia. It contributes to the green marketing literature and offers insights for sustainability practices.

Abstract

The study examines how workload affects performance mediated by job stress and job satisfaction at BKPSDM employees of Melawi Regency, West Borneo. SPSS 22 and path analysis are used for data processing and analysis. While workload influences job stress and job satisfaction, it has no effect on employee performance. Similarly, job stress does not influence employee performance, but job satisfaction does. Workload also influences job satisfaction, which in turn influences employee performance. With an emphasis on lowering stress and raising job satisfaction, the study assists management in developing more effective workload management techniques. This can enhance worker performance when given more responsibilities, which affects the standard of public services and the effectiveness of the organization.

Abstract

The study focuses on analyzing the impact of the Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM) on the intention to continue using the MAXIM app in Kendari city. With 140 respondents selected using purposive sampling, data on perceived usefulness, confirmation, habit, and intention to continue was collected through a questionnaire. Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used for data analysis. Results show confirmation strongly influences perceived usefulness and habit, while its impact on satisfaction is weaker. Perceived usefulness and habit positively affect intention to continue usage, with satisfaction also playing a role, albeit weakly. User experience could be a valuable aspect for future research.
