Abstract

National economic resilience is strongly influenced by the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as the main pillar of the domestic economy, particularly amid global economic pressures and the acceleration of digitalization. In this context, the concept of financial patriotism has become increasingly relevant as a foundation for economic behavior that is oriented not only toward profit generation but also toward contributing to national development. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025 and obtained through Google Scholar. The findings indicate that the implementation of financial patriotism values, such as the use of domestic financial systems and preferences for local products, contributes to maintaining economic circulation and strengthening the national economic structure. On the other hand, digitalization has a significant impact on improving the efficiency, productivity, and market access of MSMEs. However, disparities in technology adoption remain a challenge that must be addressed through the strengthening of digital infrastructure, the enhancement of digital literacy, and support from various stakeholders. The integration of financial patriotism and digitalization serves as a key factor in developing adaptive, innovative, and competitive MSMEs, thereby supporting sustainable national economic resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on customer loyalty, with trust as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed, analyzed through SmartPLS software. A total of 100 respondents, selected through purposive sampling from customers of Rumah Makan Selera Rasa, served as the study sample. The results reveal that CRM exerts a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, with a T-statistic value of 3.955 and a P-value of 0.000. Furthermore, CRM demonstrates a positive and significant influence on trust, with a T-statistic of 8.297 and a P-value of 0.000. Trust also exhibits a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, with a T-statistic of 6.738 and a P-value of 0.000. Additionally, trust is confirmed to function as a significant mediating variable in the relationship between CRM and customer loyalty, with a P-value of 0.000. These findings indicate that the effective implementation of CRM in food service businesses can significantly enhance both customer trust and customer loyalty.

Abstract

Strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that rely on Islamic green economy principles is a crucial step toward achieving sustainable development in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the role of the Islamic green economy in MSME development and examine the contribution of Islamic philanthropy instruments such as zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf in supporting the sustainability of these businesses. The methodology applied is a qualitative approach through a literature study with descriptive analysis of various related sources. The findings indicate that integrating maqashid al-shariah principles with the green economy can encourage MSMEs to become more environmentally friendly, socially just, and sustainable. In addition, Islamic philanthropy serves as an alternative financing mechanism that can enhance MSME capacity in an inclusive and sustainable manner. Therefore, collaboration between the Islamic green economy and Islamic philanthropy can become a strategic solution to strengthen MSMEs while supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for governments, MSME actors, and Islamic philanthropic institutions in developing MSME empowerment strategies focused on economic, social, and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

The rise of social media has brought about a transformation in people’s behavioral patterns and lifestyles, including within Islamic boarding schools, which are synonymous with the value of simplicity. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of “flexing” among students at the Nurul Imam Islamic Boarding School in Jember Regency from the perspective of Islamic economics. The research focuses on the forms of behavior emerging among students, the factors influencing the emergence of such behavior, the students’ efforts to uphold the value of simplicity amidst the tide of modern lifestyles, as well as the views of boarding school supervisors regarding the “flexing” phenomenon and strategies for instilling the value of simplicity in students. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that the phenomenon of flexing among students is reflected through the use of branded goods, specific styles of appearance, and social media posts aimed at self-promotion and gaining social recognition. This phenomenon is influenced by the intensity of social media use, peer groups, the tide of modernization, and the growing culture of consumerism among youth. From an Islamic Economics perspective, flexing behavior has the potential to lead to attitudes of extravagance (israf), wastefulness (tabdzir), and ostentation (riya') if practiced excessively. Nevertheless, some boarding school students still strive to uphold the value of simplicity through self-control, limiting consumptive behavior, and adopting a selective attitude toward emerging trends. This study concludes that the phenomenon of flexing represents an interaction between modern culture and the values of simplicity in Islamic boarding schools, thus requiring the reinforcement of Islamic economic values in addressing social dynamics in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies in gold installment financing to increase public interest in using Islamic financing products. The method used in this research approach is qualitative with a descriptive research type. Data sources include both primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques utilized interviews and documentation. Analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the marketing strategy using the 7Ps marketing mix theory—comprising Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence—has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and interest in using the gold installment product. This study provides recommendations for Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Bojonegoro to enhance the effectiveness of its marketing strategies in the future. The novelty of this research lies in its object of study, namely gold installment products in Islamic banking, which remain relatively under-researched compared to other financing products. This study also positions customer satisfaction and product usage interest as vital variables in assessing the effectiveness of Islamic marketing strategies in the modern financial industry competition era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) standardization in strengthening the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) within Islamic financial institutions by addressing the limited integration between operational procedures and governance principles identified in previous research. A qualitative library research approach was employed using secondary data collected from scientific journals, books, regulations, and other relevant literature, which were analyzed through content analysis and descriptive qualitative techniques. The findings indicate that SOP standardization plays a strategic role in supporting the principles of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness while serving as an instrument of internal control, risk management, and Sharia compliance to enhance organizational effectiveness, strengthen stakeholder trust, and promote sustainable governance practices. The novelty of this study lies in positioning SOP standardization as an implementation mechanism that translates GCG principles into concrete operational activities within Islamic financial institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and reconstruct food waste behavior in the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) based on the Islamic concept of israf. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach at MTs Fathul Amin Matakali. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that food waste still occurs due to excessive food portions, student preferences for food, and low awareness of finishing food. From an israf perspective, this behavior is considered excessive, which is prohibited in Islam. Therefore, this study proposes reconstruction through Islamic-based consumption education, portion adjustments, and improvements to the food distribution system. This reconstruction is expected to reduce food waste and shape more responsible consumption behavior. Keywords :Food Waste, Israf, Free Nutritious Meal Program

Abstract

The surge in the distribution of Zakat, Infaq, and Alms (ZIS) BAZNAS RI funds in the education sector for the 2021-2025 period, which grew exponentially to reach IDR 308 billion, requires accountable governance to avoid operational risks. This research aims to analyze in depth the process and effectiveness of the implementation of operational risk management in the BAZNAS RI Scholarship Program. Using a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, primary data was collected through in-depth interviews with the Head of the Education and Da'wah Division and the implementing staff, supported by secondary data in the form of monthly financial statements and SOP documents. Data analysis refers to the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña with triangulation techniques for data validity. The results of the study show that BAZNAS RI has adopted the ISO 31000 standard through four main stages: risk identification, risk measurement/analysis, risk mitigation, and monitoring. The main risk clusters include selection (input) risk, distribution process (process) risk, and evaluation (output) risk. The effectiveness of mitigation is strengthened through multi-layered factual verification instruments, mentoring and periodic coaching systems, and digitization of information systems. However, strengthening the consistency of internalizing a risk awareness culture at the level of frontline implementing staff is still a major challenge that must be perfected in order to maintain public trust in a sustainable manner.
