Abstract

This study intended to increase the motivation to learn the beautiful theme of diversity in my country using the application of PAIKEM to fourth grade students at SDN 001 Samarinda Ulu in 2018/2019. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in II cycle, and each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. The results showed that (1) The application of PAIKEM in learning can increase the activities of teachers and students. In the first cycle scored 75 to 96, it was also proven by observing student activities, which scored 67 with a percentage of 52%. in the first cycle, increasing in the second cycle to 81 with a percentage of 93%. (2) Learning outcomes in theme 7 sub theme 3 social studies content have increased after action. The data showed the average value of the first cycle of 74.31 with a percentage of completeness that is 69%, in the second cycle to 85.51 with 90% completeness. (3) Students' learning motivation while learning in cycle I 48% increased in cycle II to 93% Based on the results of the study, the application of PAIKEM can increase learning motivation

Abstract

The purpose of this class action research is to improve the learning achievement of fourth grade students, 31 people in total, at SDN 010 North Samarinda. This research was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The student's initial data is taken from the pre cycle which was carried out before the first cycle began. Whereas, the final data is obtained at the end of each cycle after the researcher conducted the evaluation test. Student learning achievement in each cycle continues to increase from cycle I, cycle II and cycle III. Where the results obtained in Indonesian subjects in the first cycle, the average score of 72 with a completeness of 61.3%, in the second cycle, the average score of 80 with a completeness of 74% while in the third cycle, the average score of 90 with the percentage of completeness reaching 100% of 31 students. As for natural science subjects, in cycle I, the average score of 70 with a completeness percentage at 54.8%, in cycle II, the average score of 74 with a completeness of 74.2%, whereas in social studies subjects also experienced an increase in cycle I gained the average score of 69 with a percentage of 51.6% completeness, in the second cycle, the average value of 74 with a completeness of 71% and in the third cycle the average score increased to 81 with a percentage of 100% completeness. Based on the results of data analysis, the Jigsaw method can improve students learning achievement of fourth grade students of SDN 010 North Samarinda.

Abstract

This study intended to improve learning outcomes of events in life themes using make a match method for fifth grade students at SDN 020 Samarinda Utara in 2018/2019 academic year. The type of research used is CAR that is carried out in II cycles and each cycle consists of 3 meetings. The results showed that (1) The application of the make a match method in learning can increase the activities of teachers and students. The results reveal from the observations of teacher activity in the first cycle scored 58.8 to 78.8 in the second cycle. It was also proved by the results which getting a value of 60 in cycle I, increasing in cycle II with a value of 86.6. (2) The learning outcomes on theme 7 of the social studies subject matter have increased after taking action. It can be seen from the average class in the first cycle of 71.33 with a percentage of completeness that is 33.3%, in the second cycle to 80.83 with a percentage of completeness of 83.3%. (3) students' skills in making mind maps increased in cycle I gained an average value of 68.8, p and in cycle II scored 80.2

Abstract

The background of this research is learning the arithmetic operations of multiplication and division in class IV. It can be seen that most students complain when the teacher invites students to study mathematics. Students seemed less or less enthusiastic, lazing around, some even talked to their friends and didn't pay attention to the teacher's explanation. Learning outcomes in class IV of SD Negeri 02 Kupu Brebes are still relatively low or do not meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This research aims to determine the types of difficulties in learning the arithmetic operations of multiplication and division as well as the inhibiting factors in learning the arithmetic operations of multiplication and division experienced by fourth grade students at SD Negeri 02 Kupu Brebes. The type of research used is qualitative research. The subjects of this research were the class teacher and 4 class IV students due to the teacher's confession during the pre-interview and the teacher was more involved during teaching and learning activities and discussions. The items taken are the types of difficulties in learning the arithmetic operations of multiplication and division, as well as factors that hinder the learning of arithmetic, multiplication and distribution operations. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. The results of the research carried out were the types of difficulties in learning multiplication and division arithmetic operations experienced by students, namely difficulties in distinguishing symbols, difficulties in solving problems of multiplication and division arithmetic operations, weaknesses in understanding the concept of numbers, difficulty distinguishing the relationship between the concepts of multiplication arithmetic operations. and division numbers, as well as factors in learning the multiplication and division arithmetic operations experienced by students, namely the student's physical condition, the spiritual condition within the student, the parents' attitude towards the student, the student's home or family environment, the teacher's attitude at school. Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengetahui deskripsi keahlian penyelesaian soal matematika dalam menuntaskan soal HOTs pada peserta didik kelas IVC di SD Negeri 012 Samarinda Ulu. Penelitian ini masuk dalam kategori penelitian deskriftif berbasis pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil subjek peserta didik kelas IVC di SD Negeri 012 Samarinda yang totalnya 6 peserta didik, meliputi 2 peserta didik yang memiliki keahlian tinggi, 2 peserta didik yang meliki keahlian sedang serta 2 peserta didik yang memiliki keahlian rendah. Penelitian memakai penilaian akhir ujian soal HOTs serta pendataan dari wawancara guna menguatkan respon subjek terhadap hasil ujian soal sebelumnya. Kemudian data yang diperoleh, dilakukan analisis berprinsipkan pada 4 aktivitas pemecahan dari persoalan pada langkah polya. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebagai berikut: (1) Subjek yang berkeahlian tinggi dapat menuntaskan ujian soal HOTs di seluruh aktivitas pada penyelesaian persoalan berlandaskan langkah polya. (2) Subjek yang berkeahlian sedang dapat menuntaskan aktivitas pemahaman soal, merencanakan rancangan, serta melakukan rancangannya dalam menuntaskan ujian soal HOTs, tetapi kurang pada aktivitas memeriksa ulang. (3) subjek berkeahlian rendah dapat menuntaskan aktivitas pemahaman soal, tetapi kurang kurang saat aktivitas merencanakan rancangan, melakukan rancangannya serta memeriksa ulang. Kata Kunci: Pemecahan Masalah Matematika, Soal HOTs, Langkah Polya.

Abstract

Language development is an indicator of a child's cognitive development, and delays in this have an impact on various functions in their life. Communication between parents and children will be an important stimulus in children's language development. Communication patterns in the family describe the family's tendency to develop fairly consistent and predictable ways of communicating with each other. This patterns have two dimensions, which is conversation orientation and conformity orientation. Errors in parental communication can have an impact on the achievement and quality of development of children's language skills. Children may reach language benchmarks and construct sentences at appropriate levels, but unable or less able to discuss things with other children or with adults. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of family communication patterns on the language development of children aged 4-6 years. The research was conducted with 50 respondents using the Language Development Scale instrument adapted from the Denver Developmental Screening Test II to measure children's language development, and using the Revised Family Communication Patterns Parent's Version to measure family communication patterns. The research results showed that there was an influence of family communication patterns on the language development of children aged 4-6 years (p=0.000) of 23.4% (R Square=0.234).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media ritatoon laci siklus air terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V MI. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan Tru-Experimental Design tipe Pretest-posttest control Group Design. Tempat penelitian ini di MINU Kedungrejo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V MINU Kedungrejo Waru Sidoarjo. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu Teknik Purposive Sampling, adapun sampel yang diambil berjumlah 54 siswa, yaitu 27 siswa kelas V-B dan 27 siswa kelas V-C. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas dan reliabilitas Cronbach’s Alpha melalui SPSS 26 pada instrumen sebelum digunakan, teknik analisis persentase dan mean, uji independent sample t-test, serta uji korelasi pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan media ritatoon laci siklus air diperoleh hasil 95,4% tergolong “sangat baik”. Hasil nilai kelas kontrol 76,57% tergolong “sangat tinggi” dan hasil nilai kelas eksperimen 80,83% tergolong “sangat tinggi”. Hasil uji independent sample t-test diketahui rata-rata kelas eksperimen yaitu 80,83 dan rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 76,57. Selain itu, nilai sig. (2-tailend) sebesar 0.000<0,05 dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan berbicara siswa yang menerapkan dan tidak menerapkan media ritatoon laci siklus air. Hasil korelasi pearson diperoleh sebesar r = 0,591 berada pada 0,40-0,599 nilai tersebut menunjukan pada tingkat hubungan yang sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menngetahui kemitraan guru dan orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin pada siswa kelas IVA SDN 023 Samarinda Utara. Kerjasama dengan orang tua guna membentuk karakter disiplin siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan guru antaranya komunikasi guru dan orang tua, mengadakan pertemuan dengan orang tua dan kunjungan guru kerumah peserta didik. Pelaksanaan kerjasama guru dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemitraan guru dan orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru kelas IVA, tiga orang tua murid kelas IVA dan kepala sekolah SDN 023 Samarinda Utara. Teknik pengumpulan data dan instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam menguji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian pada guru, orang tua dan kepala sekolah menunjukan bahwa kerjasama guru dan orang tua dalam pembentukan karater disiplin pada siswa kelas IVA SDN 023 Samarinda Utara sudah berjalan cukup baik namun terkadang ada gendala yang dirasakan oleh guru ketika sekolah mengundang orang tua kesolah untuk mengadakan pertemuan membahas masalah siwa ataupun kegiatan di sekolah terkadang orang tua tidak segera memenuhi panggilan tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi metode pembiasaan dalam menumbuhkan karakter disiplin siswa di SDN 011 Samarinda Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa cara dalam menumbuhkan karakter disiplin melalui implementasi metode pembiasaan yang sudah dilakukan di SDN 011 Samarinda Utara pada siswa kelas II A yakni disiplin waktu membiasakan siswa disiplin dengan cara memberikan contoh atau teladan, memberikan pujian atau penghargaan kepada siswa yang tepat waktu selalu mengingatkan siswa, pemberian hukuman ringan, memberikan deadline pengumpulan tugas. Jika tidak mengumpulkan guru memberikan tugas tambahan sesuai kemampuan siswa. Disiplin belajar menciptakan suasana kelas yang menyenangkan, selalu memperhatikan siswa saat proses pembelajaran, sisipkan waktu istirahat saat proses pembelajaran. Disiplin peraturan dengan cara guru selalu menegur, pemberian nasehat atau memberikan contoh baik, dan  pemberian sangsi. Disiplin sikap membiasakan siswa disiplin dalam baris-berbaris atau mengantre biasanya diterapkan pada saat mengumpulkan tugas, pada saat mencuci tangan, dan pada saat pulang dan keluar kelas agar siswa terbiasa tertib. Disiplin beribadah membiasakan siswa taat dan kepatuhan dalam memahami dan melaksanakan agama yang dianut, membiasakan siswa selalu berdoa dan mengikuti kegiatan keagamaan di sekolah.

Abstract

Vocabulary is a part of the language. It is important for the students to learn vocabulary. Learning vocabulary through video is one of many strategies that teacher can use in teaching vocabulary to the students. The aim of this study is to find out students’ difficulties in learning vocabulary through video clips, in order to find students’ difficulties in learning vocabulary through video clips, the researcher will use case study as design with qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are the first-grade students in SMK Kesehatan Samarinda. The researcher will use two kind of supporting instrument to collect the data; interview and observation. The output of this study is expected to give useful contribution to existing theories of vocabulary. Besides, practically, this study will provide more insight about problems in learning vocabulary as well as students’ effort toward the problems to English teachers so that they are able to design appropriate strategy for better leaning vocabulary. For students, this study will help them in figuring out their weaknesses so that they can improve their vocabulary effectively. For future researcher, this study is hoped to become a reference for those who investigate similar topic. Finally, this study is planned and expected to be published on Scopus journal.
