Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam pembentukkan arif budaya siswa melalui model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share diterapkan untuk meningkatkan daya pikir siswa dalam memecahkan suatu persoalan materi pelajaran, sehingga tercipta budaya siswa untuk berpikir cerdas. Guru mampu membentuk arif budaya siswa. Oleh karena itu guru harus dapat menjadi sumber inspirasi bagi siswa, mampu mengerakkan minat siswa untuk dapat tercipta arif budaya yang baik bagi dirinya. Guru tidak hanya menjadi pendidik, numun juga harus mampu membangkitkan semangat siswa untuk tidak malas berpikir. Metode kajian yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah observasi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa guru dituntut sebagai transformator, fasilitator dan motivator dalam pembentukkan arif budaya siswa.

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIIG SMP Negeri 2 Tuntang dengan model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Make a match pada materi persamaan garis lurus. Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Make a match merupakan salah satu model Pembelajaran Kooperatif dimana siswa bekerja sama mencari pasangan masing-masing. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan catatan lapangan, observasi, tes dan wawancara. Alat pengumpulan data adalah lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan butir soal. Analisis data dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil yang didapat dalam penelitian ini: siklus 1 dilakukan selama 2 pertemuan dengan hasil persentase siswa yang nilainya di atas KKM sebanyak 53,33%. Siklus 2 dilakukan selama 2 pertemuan dengan hasil persentase siswa yang nilainya di atas KKM sebanyak 76.67%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Make A Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 8G SMP Negeri 2 Tuntang.

Dalam Term of Reference Focus Group Discussion antara Majelis Permusyawaratan Republik Indonesia dengan Universitas Kristen Satyawacana diajukan beberapa pertanyaan sehubungan dengan upaya revitalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai berikut: Apakah nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai falsafah bangsa masih hidup dan menghidupi kalbu setiap manusia Indonesia?; Sudahkah nilai-nilai Pancasila berada pada lajur yang tepat dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara kita?; Sejauh manakah nilai-nilai Pancasila terimplementasikan secara yang integratif dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara?; Kemudian, Bagaimanakah metode, formulasi dan sistematisasi pengimplementasian nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara?; serta Bagaimanakah peluang dan tantangan ke depan yang harus kita hadapi bersama dalam kerangka melaksanakan revitalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara?. Dari berbagai pertanyaan di atas penulis sengaja memilih untuk mencoba menjawab pertanyaan terakhir yaitu tentang peluang bagi revitalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara di Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, dengan pertimbangan bahwa kemungkinan besar topik ini belum terlalu mendapat perhatian dari pembicara/pemakalah lain. Lebih dari itu, pilihan topik itu juga dilandaskan pada satu pertimbangan mendasar yaitu bahwa peluang bagi revitalisasi nilai nilai Pancasila sesungguhnya sangat bergantung pada daya tahan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam persaingan antar paham kenegaraan yang terus berlangsung hingga saat ini. Sejalan dengan pandangan Alfian (1980) yang menyatakan bahwa ada tiga dimensi pokok sebuah ideologi yaitu (a) dimensi idealitas, (b) dimensi realitas dan (c) dimensi fleksibilitas, maka besar kecilnya atau bahkan ada atau tidaknya peluang bagi revitalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sesungguhnya sangat tergantung pada keterpenuhan ketiga dimensi pokok ideologi tersebut dalam diri Pancasila itu sendiri dari masa ke masa. Oleh karena itu tulisan ini hendak dimulai dengan pemaparan tentang Pancasila dan persaingannya dengan paham-paham kenegaraan lain, sebelum kemudian dipaparkan peluang bagi revitalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila itu sendiri.

PENERAPAN THINK, TALK, AND WRITE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS VIII SMP KRISTEN SATYA WACANA SALATIGA Endy Liani Klarita; Arief Sadjiarto

This research was conducted with problems in class VIII students, amounting to 20 students at the Satya Wacana Christian Middle School in Salatiga regarding critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. Therefore researchers want to take action to improve learning by using the Think Talk and Write (TTW) model. This type of research is the study of class action using Kurt Lewin's research design. The instrument of data collection uses test instruments, observation sheets, and questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is descriptive comparative. The indicator of the success of critical thinking skills and learning outcomes is 75%. The results obtained from this study are that there is an increase in critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of class VIII Satya Wacana Christian Middle School Salatiga. In the first cycle the results of critical thinking skills are 55% of students who have high critical thinking skills, while in the second cycle there is an increase of 85% of students who have high critical thinking skills. Then in the pre-cycle learning outcomes there were 25% of students whose grades reached KKM, the first cycle there were 70% of students completed KKM, and in the second cycle there was an increase of 90% of students who completed KKM. So the conclusion in this study that the use of Think Talk and Write (TTW) learning model can improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in social studies subjects of class VIII Satya Wacana Christian Middle School Salatiga.

The picture-story book that emphasize character values in accordance with the vision and mission of Santa Theresia Jakarta Kindergarten is very urgent to develop, because at school, character education books are not available with the value of servite et amate. This was revealed by a teacher through an interview. Based on observations, it was also found that there was indeed no character education book that was in accordance with the school's vision and mission. Character education or moral education in the present context, really needs to be taught and developed, so that children's morals can be formed early. Picture-story book is a book in which there are stories, characters, grooves, backgrounds, themes that are expressed in the form of writings and images that become one unit. Through reading books, it is easier for children to understand the contents and practical examples to apply the character values that they want to teach. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. The qualitative descriptive is an attempt to explain facts, data, or objects qualitatively in the form of language or discourse by interpreting them appropriately and systematically. Data collection techniques used were interview and observations. This research was conducted at the Santa Theresia Jakarta Kindergarten. The results of the study indicated that picture-story books that were in accordance with the values of servite et amate needed to be created and developed, in order to help children in early childhood easily understood examples of character actions that must be performed. Therefore, schools need to facilitate and fully support, so that kindergarten teachers are given space and opportunities to develop pictorial story books. The content of the story, character, plot, language, selection of diction, choosing the color of the image must be relevant for early childhood.

PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA PESERTA DIDIK MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MAKE A MATCH PADA KELAS 4 SD Wahyu Tri Raharjo; Firosalia Kristin

This study aims to determine the steps to implement the Make a Match learning model and improve learning result sains through the application of the Make a Match learning model to Grade IV students of Kutowinangun State Elementary School 04 Salatiga. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects in 4th grade students of Kutowinangun State Elementary School 04 Salatiga consisting of 13 male students and 15 female students. The data collection technique used is test. The procedure of action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle through four stages of research includes: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. The percentage of completeness of learning result showed that in pre-action as many as 4 students completed (14%), increased to 16 students completed (57%) in the first cycle, and increased to 26 students completed (93%) in second cycle. From this data it can be conclude through the application of the Make a Match learning model can improve the learning resulth sains of 4th grade students of Kutowinangun State Elementary School 04 Salatiga.

Song Lir-ilir is one of the legacies in the form of music art in the time of Islam by Sunan Kalijaga, which at that time was used as a media to spread Islam. In social studies learning, on 7th grade junior high school has material about the period of Islam in Indonesia which is the material also discusses the relics of the Islamic period in Indonesia. But students do not yet know that Lir-ilir song is one of them and play an important role in the process of Islamization in Indonesia and meaning that are able to educate students's character. The purpose of this study is to explain students's understanding, character arising and the effect of Lir-ilir songs on students. This research was carried out on students 7th grade Class B of SMP Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga 2nd semester year of 2018/2019, totaling 22 students. In the pre-test of this study students got an average of 7.9 which can be concluded that students do not understand or recognize Lir-ilir songs. In learning students are taught about the meaning and understanding of the song that teaches the value of tolerance and mutual respect, for fellow examples in the scope of the school; bullying, etc. Students also learned to sing Lir-ilir song in front of the class in groups. On the post-test average value of students's understanding increases to 90 so it can be concluded that students become undestand of the song Lir-ilir.

IDENTIFIKASI CERITA ANAK BERBASIS BUDAYA LOKAL UNTUK MEMBUDAYAKAN LITERASI DI SD Isnaeni Wahab

Local culture is the identity of an area where in this era its features are increasingly eroded by foreign cultures. It happened because of the ease with which foreign cultures enter and blend in with local cultures which can directly affect the cultural structure of the nation. Likewise with folklore as if forgotten. Folklore is one of the national cultural heritages which is a national honor with a diverse culture that must be introduced to students since elementary school. This study aimed to identify the children's stories based on local culture and implement literacy culture at SD Kartika XX-I Makassar. The approach used in this research was descriptive qualitative with survey method while the data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Based on the data obtained, the researchers identified twelve children's story titles which were then carried out by literacy to elementary students of Kartika XX-I Makassar. The application of literacy culture in SD Kartika XX-1 Makassar by 1) distributing story books to students 2) reading about 15-20 minutes, 3) students identifying moral values contained in the story, 4) strengthening the moral values of the story children and the application of local culture in accordance with national values.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas VI siswa SD Inpres Unggulan BTN Pemda Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk pre experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Postest. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIb SD Inpres Ungulan BTN Pemda Kota Makassar yang berjumlah 40 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis inefrensial untuk uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 20,0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas VI siswa SD Inpres Unggulan BTN Pemda Kota Makassar dengan nilai Sighitung 0,000 < α (0,05) yang berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.

HAMBATAN GURU SD DALAM PENYUSUNAN SPP (SUBJECT SPECIFIC PEDAGOGY) SPKURIKULUM BARU DI SEKOLAH DASAR Andri Anugrahana

The purpose of this study describes the obstacles of elementary school teachers in developing the Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) from new curriculum, the 2013 curriculum. This research is a descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected by questionnaire, interview, and focus group discussion. The data source is 40 elementary school teachers in Bantul Regency, DIY. Data analysis is done by finding and identifying teacher difficulties in preparing the SSP, then finding solutions to teacher problems. The results of this study are (1) 55% of teachers made preparations by determining the method in advance, 35% of teachers made preparations by determining SK and KD, and 10% of teachers chose to determine the approach. (2) The difficulty of teachers in preparing the SSP was 62% of teachers had difficulty in assessment, 32% of teachers had difficulty determining the method and 8% of teachers had other difficulties. (3) 62% of teachers answered the assessment became an obstacle in the preparation of the SSP, 32% of the teachers answered the method, and the other obstacle was 8%. The solutions made by the teacher to overcome the problem: find additional information, determine the syntax, choose a method, read book, search other source from the internet. Whereas in overcoming the assessment problems include the teacher compiling an assessment rubric according to the SSP guidelines, reading the assessment book.
