Abstract

The excessive discrepancy between the main market's both the secondary market's share price and share price is known as underpricing. This research seeks to ascertain how debt affects covenant, business size, and industry type on the undervaluation of stocks of businesses that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The author employs a quantitative research approach and an associative technique. The data was collected using the documentation approach. The study object consists of companies that list from 2019 to 2022 on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sample strategy employed was non-probability purposive sampling. In all, 190 companies met the sample's standards. According to the investigation's findings, the kind of industry has a positive impact on stock underpricing. However, for businesses that conduct IPOs on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, it seems that stock underpricing is unaffected by the company's size or debt-to-equity ratio. This finding emphasizes the importance of considering investment decision-making strategies based on a deep understanding of industry factors rather than relying solely on firm size or financial structure.

Abstract

This study examines earnings management practices using discretionary accruals and real activities manipulation in Indonesia’s property and real estate sector during 2022–2023, given the potential of such practices to mislead financial statement users in this rapidly growing industry. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach with secondary data, 72 firm-year samples were selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal clear indications of earnings management via both accruals and real activities, with a significant difference observed between the two methods. These results extend Agency Theory by highlighting dual strategies used in post-pandemic contexts and underscore the need for regulators (OJK, IDX) to strengthen disclosure and oversight policies. For practitioners, the findings emphasize the importance of ethical reporting and improved internal controls to enhance financial transparency and investor trust.

Abstract

The high failure rate of startups in Indonesia raises significant concerns regarding long-term sustainability as fundamental components of the digital economic development. In response to this issue, the present study explores an innovative approach by emphasizing team management as a strategic solution. Specifically, this research examines the impact of team psychological capital on team effectiveness, with a particular focus on the mediating role of organizational citizenship behavior. A total of 130 startup employees in Indonesia were selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via SmartPLS 4.0 software. The empirical findings indicate that both team psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior exert a significant and positive influence on team effectiveness. Moreover, organizational citizenship behavior is identified as a mediating variable in the relationship between team psychological capital and team effectiveness. These results underscore the crucial role of strengthening team psychological capital and fostering organizational citizenship behavior to enhance team performance. The study offers valuable theoretical and practical implications for human resource practitioners, startup founders, and managers in their efforts to optimize team dynamics and ensure the sustainability of startup enterprises

Abstract

This study seeks to evaluate the impact of disclosing comprehensive income, including net income and other comprehensive income, on financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with panel data regression analysis through SmartPLS on 62 samples selected using purposive sampling technique. The analytical results indicate that net income does not influence earnings management within the banking sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange; in this context, net income as a predictor of earnings management appears to be constrained to certain circumstances.  Conversely, other comprehensive income substantially influences earnings management within the financial industry listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Enhancing the openness of Other Comprehensive Income reporting can mitigate excessive profit management tactics, thereby increasing the reliability of financial information for stakeholders and strengthening corporate governance.

Abstract

The primary issue of this study is the inadequate comprehension and optimal implementation of digital payment technology, digital marketing, and access to Islamic financing by halal food business actors in Indonesia. This impedes the expansion of sustainable halal food enterprises in developing countries, where technology and Islamic finance factors can significantly enhance the halal food industry's efficiency, market expansion, and sustainable competitiveness. The objective of the study is to enhance the current body of literature regarding the correlation between payment technology, digital marketing, and access to Islamic financing, with a specific emphasis on the expansion of sustainable halal food enterprises in developing nations, particularly Indonesia. SmartPLS 4.0 statistical software is employed in this quantitative investigation. Primary data was collected by selecting a sample of respondents, specifically halal food business actors in Indonesia, using a purposive sampling approach. In total, 250 samples were employed in this investigation. The Likert Scale was employed to evaluate the indications, and data were collected using Google Forms. The study's findings indicate that the development of sustainable halal food enterprises in developing countries in Indonesia is influenced by payment technology, digital marketing, and access to Islamic financing.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in West Java have lots of challenges in the digital era, and requirement of change which is most important to survive in new competitive environment. This research focuses on the identification of factors that affect the Business Performance of SMEs in the region. Applying Partial Least Squares analysis, this research investigates the research gap around Digital Literacy, Engagement in Digital Initiatives, Internal Digital Culture, Government Support Policies, and Market Competitiveness. An exploration of the relationship between the variables of Digital literacy, Digital engagement, and digital culture and their effect on SMEs business performance show that research tests point to significant effects of the three variables on at least one dimension of Business performance. Nonetheless, Government Support Policies and Market Competitiveness appear to be less relevant but they still have places. There is evidence where governments have provided chances to SMEs, though not optimal. In this sporting goods industry, market forces justified the business need for adaptation in today’s market. This research provides valuable recommendations to policy makers and practitioners. When digital challenges are understood as unavoidable obstacles and approached as a set of priorities, getting to know internal digital cultures, economies, and financing opportunities in the context of West Java SMEs, it will be possible to outline general strategies for the successful development of firms in the discussed region.

Abstract

This study explores the determinants of green consumption intention, with attitude acting as a mediating variable. The examined characteristics include subjective norms, environmental concerns, healthy lifestyles, and social media engagement. We employed a quantitative methodology, collecting data from 396 participants via Google Forms and utilizing Smart-PLS 3 for analysis. The results demonstrate that attitude functions as a vital mediating element in the association between the four elements and the inclination towards green consumption. Without attitude serving as a mediator, subjective norms, healthy lifestyles, and environmental concerns do not significantly impact green consumption intentions. These conclusions highlight the significant influence of mindset on the development of green consumer behavior. The study's recommendations, particularly the suggestion to incorporate factors such as the urge to spend for environmentally friendly products in future research, have the potential to inspire further exploration of the topic. The findings provide vital guidance, enabling governments and organizations to develop more effective policies that promote sustainable and environmentally responsible consumption

Abstract

This research explores the importance of entrepreneurship education in enhancing students’ entrepreneurial intentions and capabilities. This study emphasizes the importance of effective entrepreneurship education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, highlights the relationship between self-efficacy, attitudes towards entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial intentions and suggests that students with higher self-efficacy are more likely to value and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. The research approach used was quantitative. We are using sample consisted of 359 respondents who were students who had taken entrepreneurship courses and had entrepreneurial intentions or owned businesses.Data analysis technique used SEM Analysis, which employs a confirmatory model.Furthermore, findings show that participation in entrepreneurship training and literacy programs significantly increases students’ confidence in their entrepreneurial abilities, thereby increasing their intention to start a new venture. The paper concludes that by equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills, higher education institutions can effectively reduce unemployment rates and contribute to sustainable economic growth through the promotion of entrepreneurship. This study underscores the need for a paradigm shift in how students view entrepreneurship, encouraging them to become job creators rather than job seekers, ultimately leading to a more dynamic and innovative economy.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of Environmental Awareness, Social Media Usage, Economic Concern, and Impulsive Buying on household Intention to Reduce Food Waste within the Jabodetabek region. Employing a purposive non-probability sampling technique, data were collected through an online survey involving 280 female respondents responsible for food preparation at home. The analysis utilized Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test nine hypotheses. The results indicate that four hypotheses were supported, while five were not. Specifically, Environmental Awareness, Social Media Usage, and Attitude toward Food Waste exhibited significant positive effects on the Intention to Reduce Food Waste. Conversely, Economic Concern and Impulsive Buying showed no direct impact on the intention to reduce waste. These outcomes highlight the importance of psychological and informational factors over purely economic considerations in shaping pro environmental household behavior. The findings offer valuable insights for policymakers and practitioners, particularly marketers, in formulating effective strategies to minimize food waste. Recommended actions include designing targeted communication and advertising campaigns, establishing supportive policies to reduce household food waste, and developing educational initiatives to foster sustainable consumption habits. Overall, the study contributes to understanding behavioral determinants of food waste reduction in urban household contexts and underscores the role of awareness and digital engagement in promoting sustainable food management practices. The study also highlights the unique role of women managing household food preparation, offering gender-based insight into sustainable consumption behavior in Indonesia.
