Abstract

Brandan Donuts is a business that is engaged in the culinary field, especially delicious and healthy snacks, namely donuts. UD Brandan Donuts was founded by Jumardani, on September 1, 2015, at Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Simpang Limun, Medan City. The problem with UD Brandan Donuts is that the ordering and marketing system still relies on media for direct interaction with consumers (buyers) which makes it difficult for the management to expand market share. The purpose of this research is to build an order information system using the DFD method and apply the design of an online ordering information system at UD Brandan Donuts (WEB). The research uses the data flow diagram (DFD) method to design the system flow and uses the implementation of a software program, Xampp in designing a website (WEB). The results on the website design there are 2 levels that will run in ordering donuts online, namely Level 1 consisting of the buyer login process, ordering, delivery, admin login, financial reports. And level 2 consists of the process of registering a buyer's account, logging in, selecting a donut product, filling in order data, selecting the type of transaction, payment, confirmation of order completion, delivery schedule, order confirmation until, input of donut category, input of donut stock, confirmation of order data, confirmation payment, promotion, daily report processing, monthly report processing, and annual report processing. The conclusion in this research is that the context diagram design contains 6 entities and for the data flow diagram (DFD) design it has a level of 2.17 and as many as 22 flowcharts. And produce a website (WEB) that displays an admin page, buyer page and courier page to make it easier for consumers (buyers) to order online.

Abstract

Supplier selection is an important stage in the procurement of goods and services. The suitable suppliers will streamline the company's business processes to increase profits for the company. Product packaging is one of the vital components of the overall representation of a product. Many industries leave packaging matters to others to focus on their area of specialization. Thus, the selection of packaging suppliers has become one of the critical issues in the industrial world. This study aims to develop a packaging supplier selection model in the shoe industry. The primary packaging for shoes is a shoe box made of cardboard. In developing the packaging supplier selection model, it is necessary to determine the relevant criteria and sub-criteria to support the entire supplier selection process. The integration of the Decision-Making Laboratory and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL), Analytic Network Process (ANP), and Weighted Zero-One Goal Programming (WZOGP) were used in this study to produce a suitable supplier selection model. In the initial step, five criteria and 12 sub-criteria were determined from the literature study and brainstorming with the procurement department. Furthermore, the DEMATEL method supports the development of a model of the relationship between criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives required in the ANP procedure. Then, the ANP method synergistically assigns weights to each criterion, sub-criteria, and alternative. The weights from the results of the ANP method are used as parameters for the WZOGP optimization model. In this study, quality (28.1%) was ranked as the highest criterion, and shoe box prints that matched the specifications (12.3%) became the sub-criteria with the highest ranking. The selection of the best suppliers using the ANP method sequentially is supplier B (62.22%), supplier A (20.41%), and supplier C (17.38%). The results of the WZOGP optimization model confirm the results of the ANP by setting supplier B as the leading supplier

Abstract

Storage of finished goods is one of the important factors needed by a company, both offline and online manufacturing. The problem that often occurs is the lack of area and inadequate warehouse locations for storing finished goods. This problem is also found in the activities of storing finished goods in shipping expeditions. The condition of the warehouse which was initially less efficient was due to the location of the warehouse being less spacious, the absence of safety equipment and also areas prone to flooding. The goal to be achieved is to choose the optimal warehouse location from several existing alternatives. The method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to develop a hierarchy of logistics center location selection. Research variables using criteria include distance, cost, facilities, geographical position and warehouse area. The results of data processing produce the highest criterion weight value of 0.3228, namely the area of the warehouse and the smallest criterion weight of 0.0417, namely the cost criterion. In addition, the highest value of the work alternative is 0.4085 on the SPILL warehousing alternative and the smallest value is 0.2749 on the Rungkut Industri alternative.

Abstract

Surabaya locomotive warehouse is one part of the company PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) as a place to store spare parts for repair and maintenance purposes, especially locomotives. The implementation of these inspections and repairs, of course, requires spare parts to facilitate the maintenance process which generally spare parts are placed in storage or warehouses. The problem in the Surabaya locomotive warehouse is that the arrangement of spare parts for bin boxes for each type of group is not always fixed so that the search becomes a bit hampered. This study aims to review the repair of bin box spare parts placement on a regular basis by using the First-In First-Out (FIFO) approach to sort bin box spare parts based on their movement flow. Based on the results of the analysis, the classification of bin boxes in each type of spare parts rack group based on the flow of movement in sequence is fast moving, medium moving, and slow moving. In the fast moving spare parts bin boxes are placed on the bottom row of shelves, bin boxes that have medium moving spare parts are placed on the second and third rows of shelves. Meanwhile, bin boxes that have slow-moving spare parts will be placed on the top shelf. After classifying the spare parts in the bin box, an addressing area is made on each row of the rack to determine the location of the spare part position.

Abstract

Methods Currently, business competition between manufacturing companies in Indonesia is increasingly diverse. There are many companies that have the same type of business but have their respective advantages of quality products offered at competitive prices. This quality is one of the factors to measure the level of customer satisfaction. PT. Loscam is a foreign company engaged in wood pallet rental services. Sales marketing is the most influential part of a company’s revenue. The Covid-19 pandemic caused some companies to reduce the number of employees or workers, resulting in workers being laid off in an effort to prevent the spread of the disease. Maintain their business and of course to reduce losses due to Covid-19. At PT. Loscam Surabaya. Sales Marketing is the division that is tasked with conducting marketing activities directly or indirectly to customers and conducting market analysis for promotion so that goods (pallets) can be rented by customers, so that efforts become greater to find new customers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work stress and work stress using Relative Stress Index method, to determine mental load using NASA TLX method, to determine mental load based on level of effort expended using RSME, and to determine mental load based on psychiatry using GHQ method -12. The RSI results showed that there was no significant relationship between job type and work stress. That is the work pressure experienced by Sales Marketing at PT. Loscam is likely to be influenced by other things not contained in the job description in the RSI table. For NASA TLX, the score obtained by respondent 1 was 90 (very high classification), respondent 2 with a value of 70.67 (high), respondent 3 with a value of 78.67 (high), and respondent 3 with a value of 86 (very high). The RSME value obtained by respondent 1 was 136.67 (business category produced was very large), respondent 2 was 70.70 (effort spent was quite large), respondent 3 had a value of 80 (effort spent was large), and respondent. 4 with a value of 135 (the effort expended is enormous). For the GHQ-12 value, the level of stress occurred in respondent 2 with a score of 17 (low score), then respondent 1 (score 2), respondent 3 (score 6), and respondent 4 (score 10) in the non-stress category.

Abstract

There are main activities of the worker in UD Askan such as splitting the fish, carrying, and lifting the tubs. Work activities are done manually and the production process continually undergoes. The frequency of activity (15 cycles) in a day causes the risk of fatigue, injury, and Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Evaluation of the work posture of four workers by Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS) and Job Strain Index (JSI) methods showed high risk in the process of lifting and carrying a tank. The previous posture caused the worker to bend forward, both legs standing or squatting with both knees, and walk by carrying a tub. The results recommend solving soonest due to the danger to the musculoskeletal. The recommendation shows that lifting methods are required and the design of lifting and transporting equipment is needed. The evaluation posture by OWAS show that the process of carrying a tank is 3 level (immediate repair because it is harmful to the musculoskeletal), and after improvement, it is 1 level (not harmful to the musculoskeletal). Then, JSI indicates any improvement from the 3 levels (posing a hazard) to level 1 (safe work).

Abstract

Inventory in raw materials is a very important thing to pay attention to by the company in carrying out its business processes. Economy Order Quantity (EOQ) is a method that is generally used in determining raw material availability policies in order to obtain minimum yields. This method will help plan raw material inventory in a company to be more efficient. In a manufacturing company, inventory is classified into three parts, specifically raw goods, semi-finished goods and finished goods. If a supply is sufficient then the production process will run smoothly. The purpose of this study is to make an analysis and make a control plan for milk raw materials contained in CV. Milkinesia Nusantara using the EOQ method. After analyzing the results obtained, the optimal purchase frequency is 240 times a year because milk raw materials are easily spoiled with a total purchase of milk raw materials every time one order is 119 liters, the main raw material is considered safe as much as 183 liters with what was ordered back when the raw material amounted to 457 liters. Then the total cost of availability of the company's raw materials, which was originally Rp. 85,023,395.55 - can be saved to Rp. 42,006,726, - so that the savings that occur are Rp. 43,016,669.55.
