Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of experiential marketing and promotion on consumer loyalty at KFC Centre Point Medan. Using a descriptive quantitative method with a questionnaire survey of 96 consumers, results reveal that experiential marketing and promotion simultaneously have a significant effect on loyalty. Partially, act marketing, relate marketing, and promotion have positive and significant impacts, while sense, feel, and think marketing do not. These findings indicate that KFC should focus on strengthening act and relate marketing strategies alongside effective promotional activities to enhance consumer loyalty and maintain competitiveness in the fast-food industry, providing valuable insights for business marketing planning.

Abstract

This study explores tax accountants’ perceptions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) intervention in tax audits and its impact on financial reporting quality. Using a Husserlian phenomenological approach and in-depth interviews with three accountants from various industries, the study finds that AI is seen as insufficient to grasp business context and professional values. The findings reveal risks of mechanistic reporting, triggering pseudo-compliance and manipulation to align with automated audit systems. The implication highlights the importance of AI audit systems that consider professional meaning and the complexity of fiscal reporting to ensure financial statements reflect business reality and maintain accountability and reporting integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and capital structure on firm value with dividend policy as an intervening variable in textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2023-2024. The research approach used is quantitative with associative research type. The research sample consisted of 16 companies selected by purposive sampling method, with a total of 128 observation data for 8 quarters. The data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports downloaded from the official IDX website. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques and Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results showed that profitability (ROA) has no significant effect on firm value (PBV) or dividend policy (DPR). Capital structure (DER) has a negative and significant effect on firm value (PBV), but has no significant effect on dividend policy (DPR). In addition, dividend policy (DPR) also has no significant effect on firm value (PBV) and is unable to mediate the effect of profitability and capital structure on firm value. These findings indicate that in the conditions of the Indonesian textile and garment industry in 2023-2024, profitability and dividend policy factors have not been able to increase firm value directly or indirectly, while too high a capital structure actually reduces firm value in the eyes of investors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use, benefits, security, and social influence on the interest in using the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) among Generation Z in Yogyakarta Province. With a compatible digital payment system, QRIS has great potential among Generation Z who are familiar with technology. The method in this study was quantitative by distributing questionnaires to 150 people from Generation Z in Yogyakarta Province. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that perceived ease of use does not have a significant negative effect on interest in using QRIS. Meanwhile, perceived benefits, security, and social influence have a significant positive effect. These findings indicate that success in QRIS adoption is not only determined by technical ease, but also by tangible benefits, a sense of security, and the social environment of the user. These results have a significant impact on efforts to develop more efficient methods for offering and teaching QRIS to the Generation Z group.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of service quality, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), and patient satisfaction on patient revisit intentions at Wonokusumo Public Health Centre, with health consciousness as a moderating variable. Despite its strategic role in promoting public health, patient visits have not significantly increased despite service innovations. Using a quantitative approach and a sample of 252 respondents. The results of this study indicate that service quality significantly affects patient revisit intention, patient satisfaction, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM). However, patient satisfaction and e-WOM do not considerably affect revisit intention, and health consciousness does not moderate the relationship between satisfaction and e-WOM. This study suggests that Wonokusumo Health Center are expected to focus on improving service quality dimensions to strengthen patient satisfaction and indirectly enhance revisit intention. Furthermore, future studies should explore alternative moderating factors influencing the relationship between satisfaction and patient behaviour. This study suggests that Wonokusumo Health Center is expected to focus on improving service quality dimensions to strengthen patient satisfaction and indirectly enhance revisit intention

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of CEO education on capital structure, with voluntary carbon disclosure (VCD) as a mediating variable. Data from 308 high-emission firms in Indonesia (2021–2023) were analyzed using path analysis. Results show CEO education level significantly influences VCD, while discipline does not. VCD improves capital structure by increasing investor trust and mediates the effect of education level on capital structure. Findings support Upper Echelon and Signaling theories, emphasizing the strategic role of CEO characteristics in promoting sustainability and optimizing funding decisions in environmentally sensitive sectors, particularly in the pursuit of sustainable development and carbon transparency goals.
