Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of ethical discourse on social media in shaping consumer brand switching behavior as a response to social or political movements or challenges on Platform X. utilizing social network analysis (SNA) in the presence of Gephi, conversation data containing specific keywords were analyzed to map social network structures, identify communities, and assess the influence of central actors in the dissemination of values and collective calls to action. The outcomes reveal the formation of strong communities in the presence of relatively high modularity, selective interactions under the framework of community clusters, and the dominant role of influencer accounts in accelerating the diffusion of ethical discourse and calls for alternative consumption actions. The massive ethical advocacy process on social media not only shapes public opinion but also extends into the realm of consumer preference changes, where brand switching occurs as the implementation of solidarity values and ethical consumption. This study underscores the importance of social networks and consumer ethics in driving the transformation of consumption patterns in digital society and provides strategic implications for brand management in the era of worldwide challenges and collective ethics based on online communities.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of financial literacy, financial attitude, and financial inclusion on the financial behavior of MSMEs in Medan. Using a quantitative method with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), data were collected from 100 MSMEs. The results show that financial literacy and financial inclusion do not significantly affect financial behavior. In contrast, financial attitude has a significant positive effect. These findings suggest that behavioral changes in MSMEs are more driven by internal attitudes than by financial knowledge or access. Therefore, financial training should not only focus on knowledge and access, but also on shaping positive financial mindsets among MSME actors.

Abstract

Abstract

This study introduces the Anti-Fraud Disclosure Index (AFDi) as a new instrument for fraud control in higher education. AFDi integrates five dimensions: internal audit, integrity culture, anti-fraud socialization, transparency, and whistleblowing system. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the study was limited to analysis, design, and development stages. Data were gathered through questionnaires, interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and expert validation, involving leaders, internal auditors, procurement officers, and lecturers from three universities in the Middle Java Province, Indonesia as a pilot project. Quantitative analysis employed non-parametric tests (Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U Test) with Stata, while qualitative analysis used NVivo 12. Results show no significant perception differences by gender or work unit, but significant variation by respondent position. Findings stress the importance of an integrity culture, whistleblowing optimization, stronger internal supervision, and transparency. The study contributes to fraud disclosure literature and offers AFDi as a comprehensive, accountable, and sustainable fraud control model.
