21st-century learning requires students to be equipped to process and use the information activities such as applying the CIRC learning model assisted by flipping book media. This study aims to determine the application of the CIRC learning model assisted by flipping book media to improve science learning outcomes. The research design used was the pretest-posttest control group. The population of this study was eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 and SMPN 2 Simeulue Timur because, based on data and observations, science learning outcomes were still low and taught using a teacher-centered model. The sample was determined using the purposing technique Sampling, which resulted in 108 students divided into two classes. The results showed that the N-Gain value of the experimental class was 56.96 and the control class was 28,04 and thit> ttab (9.42 > 1.98), indicating differences in the increase in cognitive learning outcomes of the two types of classes.

Scientific literacy is the main key in facing the challenges of the 21st century. The reason for the low ability of students in scientific literacy is the lack of scientific literacy content in teaching materials. The importance of students' knowledge of scientific literacy skill information is to provide solutions to problems in the field of literacy. This study aimed to determine the scientific literacy abilities of Class VII students of the Umar Mas'ud Sangkapura School. A combination descriptive research method was used in this study. Under the direction of the Umar Mas'ud School, a cluster random sampling method was used to select the research sample, which included 40 seventh graders from MTS Umar Mas'ud and SMP Umar Mas'ud. The instrument was carried out by testing scientific literacy questions and interview guideline sheets. The results of the scientific literacy tests and interviews were carried out using data analysis techniques by giving a score to each student's answer. The data obtained were interpreted into two categories, scientific literacy scores, and interview results. The average grade VII grade IPA students of the Umar Mas'ud Sangkapura Foundation are 32,563, placing them in the low category. There are several factors that cause students' low scientific literacy skills, including a lack of interest in reading, instructional media that do not prioritize scientific literacy, and a lack of direction from the teacher

The threat of an economic recession in 2023 raises concerns. Farmers, as the main supporters of food production, also feel that rice, the main food of the Indonesian people, must always be available in sufficient quantities. The population explosion during the pandemic was caused by high birth rates. Population growth must coincide with adequate food security so that there will be no famine and other chaos as a follow-up impact. The success of farmers in increasing agricultural output should be enjoyed in the form of social welfare and health. This study aims to see the relationship between increasing food production and social welfare and health. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection using questionnaires Analysis of the study's results using linear regression It was found that there was a significant relationship between increased food production and farmers' social welfare and health. This research can be a reference for continuing to increase food production through the opening of new agricultural land. Another option is to reduce the conversion of agricultural land into settlements or offices. Thus, farmers have the opportunity to continue to maintain their food production numbers

The strength of concrete is determined by its compressive strength. SNI 2847-2013 has determined that the compressive strength of concrete is obtained by using a cylindrical specimen with a diameter of 15 and a height of 30 cm (C.15) or a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 20 cm (C.10) at 28 days of age. The problem commonly encountered in the field is how to estimate the acceptable compressive strength of concrete if it has not reached the age of 28 days and with specimens that do not meet the standards set out in SNI. This study aims to obtain a correction factor for the age and shape of the test object when using a cube measuring 15x15x15 cm (K.15) and not yet reaching the age of 28 days using Portland Composite Cement (PCC). Concrete is cast using 4 forms of mold namely K15, K20, C10, and C15. Then cured until the age of 7, 14, and 28 days. At each immersion age, the compressive strength of the concrete was tested for each of the 3 specimens. The results showed that the average age factor was 0.59, 0.81, and 1 at 7, 14, and 28 days of age. While the form factor of the test object against the standard K15 form shows a value of 0.950 for K20, 1.028 for C10, and 0.813 for the C15 test object

Bag-log waste is an organic material that is difficult to decompose. This is due to the bag log's high content of lignin compounds. Therefore, to speed up the composting process, it is necessary to include other organic materials and bio activators. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the bio-activator consortium of Phosphate Dissolving Bacteria (KBPF) in composting bag-log waste mixed with cow dung. The experiment consisted of 5 treatments with three replications, namely (T1) bag-log waste, (T2) a mixture of bag-log waste and cow manure with a composition of 1:2 (wt/wt), (T3) a mixture of bag-log waste and cow manure with 2:1 ( wt/wt), (T4) a mixture of bag-log waste and cow manure with a composition of 1:2 (wt/wt) plus KBPF (200 ml) with a density of 108 CFU/ml (T5) a mixture of bag-log waste and cow manure with a composition of 2:1 (wt/wt) plus KBPF (200 ml) with a density of 108 CFU/ml. The experiment was created as - Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The experimental results show that bag-log waste cannot be decomposed fastly without cow dung and bio activators. The treatments of T2, T3, T4 and T5 produced compost with quality not significantly different from one another. Under these treatments, the temperature was controlled in the mesophilic stage, and the composting pH was returned to neutral, while the moisture content and C/N ratio decreased to almost half of their original levels at the end of the composting period. It seems that inoculation of KBPF into the mixture of cow dung and bag-log waste has no role in accelerating the composting process. The mix of Bag-log and cow dung, with a minimal proportion of 2:1 without inoculation KBPF, was the recommended combination in composting bag-log in which the final product (compost) could fulfil its pH (neutral), the threshold of temperature and water content. The C/N ratio of the treatment was close C/N ratio of mature compost, and total N and total P contents were more than the standard of SNI 19-7030-2004.

The author of this article aims to review the theory of relativity and its implications for physics education by using visual aids and a programming approach. The article will cover the concept of the speed of light in space-time in the context of relativity, and provide illustrations that explain the relationships in the context of general relativity. The focus of the article will be to introduce students to complex concepts and encourage their interest in the topic. The author reports success in teaching the basic concept of the speed of light in space-time to both elementary STEM students and high school students. While the theory of relativity has been taught at the secondary school level in some education systems, there is a lack of research on the effectiveness of using visual aids and a programming approach to enhance students' understanding of the concept. This article aims to fill the gap by evaluating the impact of this approach on students' understanding of the theory of relativity
