Abstract

This research aims to analyze the integration of Pancasila values in the leadership of the Principal at SMAN 2 Ponorogo. Amidst the challenges of moral degradation and national identity crisis, the role of the school principal as a moral institution is crucial in internalizing national ideology into school culture. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The research results show that the integration of Pancasila values is carried out through a leadership-by-example strategy which includes three main dimensions: (1) The Divinity Dimension through consistent religious habituation as an ethical foundation; (2) The Democracy Dimension through participatory deliberation and consensus management; and (3) The Social Justice Dimension through the "Humanitarian Laboratory" program in the form of social service. The research conclusion emphasizes that the "leadership with heart" approach and the principal's position as a "second parent" successfully created a harmonious school ecosystem and improved student integrity. This model is relevant as a reference in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile in the digital era.

Data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014), which includes the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the innovative leadership of the principal at SD Negeri 1 Muneng is manifested through three main dimensions: (1) transformational leadership, which emphasizes a vision for change and teacher empowerment; (2) digital competence, which supports the integration of technology into learning and school management; and (3) collaborative culture, which encourages teamwork among teachers and fosters a sustainable learning community. These three dimensions collectively form an adaptive and innovation-oriented leadership model that enhances the quality of learning in primary education

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the headmaster's transformational leadership and its role in improving the quality of learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pesantren Anak Sholeh (MI PAS) Baitul Qur’an Sudimoro, Ponorogo. The main focus of the study lies in how the dimensions of idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration are integrated into the boarding school-based madrasah ecosystem. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the headmaster's transformational leadership succeeded in transforming traditional obedience into professional commitment, which had an impact on the escalation of teacher professionalism and innovation in learning strategies such as Project Based Learning (PjBL). The leader acts as a catalyst in synergizing Qur'anic values with 21st-century competencies and civic character. The success of this quality transformation is supported by the solidity of the foundation's vision and a supportive organizational culture, even though it still faces challenges regarding limited physical facilities. The research conclusion confirms that adaptive and exemplary-based transformational leadership is the main key to increasing the madrasah's competitiveness in the era of disruption.

Abstract

Civics education is not merely oriented toward normative knowledge of citizens’ rights and obligations, but also functions to instill moral values, responsibility, honesty, and public awareness through concrete practices in school life. One institutional practice closely related to civic values is the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds as public funds provided by the state. This study aims to analyze the strengthening of transparency in BOS fund management as a practice of Civics Education and moral education at SD Eka Tjipta 01 Telen. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, BOS treasurer, and teachers, as well as documentation studies of the School Activity and Budget Plan (RKAS) and BOS financial reports. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that BOS fund management at SD Eka Tjipta 01 Telen has been implemented in accordance with applicable regulations and demonstrates a commitment to building public accountability. The transparency practices applied contribute to fostering honesty, responsibility, and openness as core values of civic education. However, the participation of school stakeholders in interpreting BOS fund management as a learning medium for Civics Education still requires further strengthening to ensure optimal internalization of civic values.

Abstract

As a means of shaping civic character, civics education does not merely focus on normative understanding of citizens’ rights and obligations, but also develops democratic values, moral awareness, and participation through everyday practices in school life. One fundamental value in civics education is deliberation (musyawarah), which is reflected in communication patterns, decision-making processes, and relationships among members of the school community. Schools function as social institutions with a strategic role in fostering a culture of deliberation through leadership and communication practices exercised by the principal. This study aims to analyze the principal’s interpersonal communication in strengthening the culture of deliberation at SDN 2 Jatigunung. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observations of school activities, in-depth interviews with the principal and teachers, and documentation of school policies and programs. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that dialogical, open, and empathetic interpersonal communication practiced by the principal encourages teacher participation and strengthens deliberative practices in school decision-making processes. The deliberative culture that develops contributes to the creation of a democratic and harmonious working climate and serves as a form of civics education practice that instills democratic values, responsibility, and togetherness in school life.

Abstract

The implementation of Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Education (ECE) services demands complex cross-sectoral synergy, which is often hindered by managerial and resource limitations, particularly in community-based institutions. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of adaptive leadership in optimizing the management of education, health, nutrition, and protection services at KB PKK Putra Bangsa Purwosari. This research employs a qualitative approach to explore the principal's managerial strategies in responding to operational challenges. The main findings indicate that adaptive leadership operates through three strategic mechanisms: (1) the principal's ability to diagnose situations to distinguish between technical and adaptive challenges; (2) the mobilization of external stakeholders (Integrated Healthcare Center, Village Midwives, and PKK Cadres) to bridge resource gaps; and (3) the distribution of authority to educators to innovate services autonomously. These dynamics have successfully transformed the organizational culture to be more responsive and resilient in serving children's comprehensive needs. The conclusion asserts that a leader's flexibility in network building and community asset mapping are fundamental elements in ensuring the sustainability and quality of Holistic Integrative ECE services amidst facility constraints.
