<![CDATA[IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF FRESH ACID TURMERIC JAMU OF HOME INDUSTRY X AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE STORAGE BASED ON CURCUMINOID CONCENTRATION. Tamarind turmeric herbal medicine contains about 10% curcuminoids, consisting of: 1-5% curcumin, demectosicurcumin and bisdemethoxy-curcumin. Curcuminoids are a group of phenolic compounds as antibacterial, anticholesterol and antioxidants. Home Industry (IRT) X in Yogyakarta produces fresh turmeric and sour herbal medicine and is sold via delivery via an online application. Handling and storage at inappropriate temperatures can affect curcuminoid levels in herbal medicine, so it is necessary to do research on curcuminoid levels at various temperatures to provide information on IRT X in particular and herbal medicine manufacturers in general. Samples of herbal turmeric acid IRT X Yogyakarta stored at room temperature (25±2°C), refrigerator temperature (4±2°C), and freezer temperature (-10±2°C), analyzed the levels of curcuminoids on variations in storage temperature manually. quantitative method with UV-Vis Spectrophotometry. The analysis begins with the manufacture of standard curves and assays which are replicated three times. The results showed that curcuminoid levels were affected by storage temperature. Samples of herbal turmeric acid IRT X Yogyakarta which were analyzed by UV-Vis spectrophotometry method obtained a standard curve of y = 0.009x + 0.025 with a value of r = 0.997. The results of curcuminoid levels at room temperature were 4.74±0.13; refrigerator temperature 4.85±0.22; and freezer temperature 5.18±0.22. The optimum temperature in the handling and storage of the tamarind turmeric herbal medicine is at low temperatures, namely the refrigerator temperature and freezer temperature to maintain the curcuminoid content in the herbal medicine.]]>

<![CDATA[THE EFFECT OF EDUCATION ON PREVENTION AND EARLY DETECTION OF BREAST CANCER IN MAJELIS AL-‘ARABIYYAT MOTHER, PALU CITY. Breast cancer has a high prevalence. Breast cancer patients often come with an advanced stage so that the prognosis is poor, because at least women do early detection for breast cancer at an early stage. This study aims to increase public knowledge about the importance of routine breast self-examination (BSE) for early detection of breast cancer. The method used for problem solving in this activity is education followed by discussion. This activity was attended by 50 participants consisting of women reciting the Al-'Arabiyyat recitation. The results of the research on the level of BSE knowledge before and after education experienced an increase in knowledge from 6.67 to 7.72 using the paired sample t-test, the statistical test results obtained by a value of p = 0.011, this shows a change in knowledge about BSE before and after education. Conclusion: The effect of education is very effective in increasing the knowledge of assembly women about BSE as an early detection of breast cancer in majelis al-‘arabiyyat, the city of Palu.]]>

<![CDATA[PRE-DISASTER TRAINING TO ESTABLISH DISASTER RESPONSE VILLAGES IN SUMBERBRANTAS VILLAGE, EAST JAVA. A disaster is an event that can interfere with human survival, disasters appear due to natural or human factors. Based on some of the data obtained, there are several problems which are described as follows: (1) Do not care about the environment; (2) lack of knowledge regarding pre-disaster preparation; (3) do not know the principle of disaster preparedness; (4) do not know first aid that must be done to oneself or others. This group will collaborate with SDN 03 Telungrejo. This training is intended to establish a disaster response village in the village of Sumberbrantas. The target of training participants is elementary school children who will be given knowledge about disasters and how to deal with when a disaster occurs. The purpose of this training is to form training participants who are ready to face unexpected disasters. The methods and techniques in this training are lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations and simulations. The facilitator for this training is BPBD Kota Batu.]]>

<![CDATA[AGRO-TOURISM MANAGEMENT TRAINING IN SUNGAI LANGKA VILLAGE, PESAWARAN DISTRICT, LAMPUNG. Sungailangka Village is a village in Pesawaran District which has been named an agro-tourism village by the Lampung Provincial Government. This PKM Aims (1) increase the knowledge and skills of village government officials and the community regarding agro-tourism management, (2) inventory the potential of Sungailangka Agro-tourism Village. The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of the post-test from this PKM showed that the level of participants' knowledge about agro-tourism managemnt had increased by about 70 percent. The potential for agro-tourism in Sungai Langka Village includes the potential for agriculture, plantations, the environment, and home industry. The leading businesses in Sungailangka Village include a variety, including: (1) citrus picking tours and salak garden tours, (2) various kinds of chips (jackfruit, banana, and zalacca), (3) handicrafts (4) culinary: (bumbu pecel, cocoa powder), and (5) and goat farm (etawa goat's milk).]]>

<![CDATA[TOGA PONI: BENEFITS AND PROSPECTS FOR THE BEEHIVE SARI WOMEN FARMER GROUP. To achieve conditions for people who live healthy and prosperous, especially those who do not have large areas of land, hydroponics as a simple technology in farming is the right choice. This effort is the focus of community service activities in the Lebah Sari Women Farmers Group (KWT), Jembong Hamlet, Ambengan Village. Several activities are needed that can support the KWT program in accordance with conditions in the field that have a positive impact that focuses on the lack of understanding of family medicinal plants (TOGA) and planting procedures / hydroponic system techniques as a new flagship program, knowledge of utilization and processing of TOGA for resilience family health and increase the resilience of the KWT economy. Through socialization, counseling and assistance, efforts to provide an understanding of TOGA, hydroponic systems and the prospects for TOGA processing business are important factors for KWT to choose TOGA as a new agricultural activity that supports KWT and a strategic step in facing the current Covid-19 pandemic situation.]]>

<![CDATA[IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF GARDEN READ MOVEMENT ”PUSTAKA DAUN” THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AUTOMATED LIBRARY. Pustaka Daun is a reading park at the Politeknik Harapan Bersama Tegal which is managed by a group of students. The existence of this library is to enliven and enliven the tradition of traditional literacy. The traditional literacy tradition that discusses sitting together studying and discussing certain themes from a book then discussing it together. Until now Pustaka Daun already has quite a large collection of books. However, library management is still limited and has not been finalized, especially in the collection of collection books. Seeing this phenomenon emerged to help Pustaka Daun managers in managing their library automatically. For this reason, through Community Service activities will provide training to the Leaf Library administrators to manage the library automatically with SLiMS software. The software is a Contents Management System (CMS) web-based tool that can be used easily and is simply installed. Through the implementation of SLiMS, Pustaka Daun management process will be even more organized because everything has been automated by the system. Community Service activities are carried out by providing training using SLiMS, starting from installation to library management. This activities are carried out well thanks to teamwork between lecturers and students. The lecturer presents the material and students participate in assisting and assisting the participants who helped during the training. In addition, the Community Service team provided books to add to the Pustaka Daun collection. After attending the training, the management succeeded in implementing SLiMS in library management.]]>

Mathematics is a universal science that underlies the development of modern technology and has an important role in various disciplines and the development of human thinking. PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) is an international study in the context of assessing learning outcomes, one of which aims to test the mathematical literacy of students aged 15 Mathematical literacy is needed not only for mastery of my material. but also requires the use of reasoning, concepts. Mathematical facts and tools in solving everyday problems Given the importance of mathematical literacy skills, this training is a form of community service, especially for students aged 15 years. The method used is the approach method and the method of implementation. The output target of this activity is to provide mastery skills of 15 year old vocational school students of SMK in order to increase their knowledge and skills in Mathematics. The result of this training is the addition of new knowledge for students in math problems. close to their lives. <![CDATA[IMPROVING THE COMPETENCE OF MALANG’S ECONOMICS TEACHERS IN ITEM ANALYSIS. Comprehensive assessment used to measure learning outcomes is a very important component of lesson planning. In general, teachers often make mistakes in identifying the parameters used in measuring learning outcomes. In addition, the method of measuring learning outcomes with conventional methods through manual calculations can also affect the validity of learning evaluation results. This community service aims to provide training to teachers in Turen, Malang Regency on how to measure the evaluation of learning outcomes by using a more effective and efficient way, using statistical data processing software. The use of this statistical software will make it easy for teachers to be able to analyze the level of difficulty of the questions made, the effectiveness of presenting the answer choices, the analysis of the difference in each question and the analysis of the tricks. The result of this service activity is that the participants who are teachers are able to perform analysis quickly and accurately using statistical software. In addition, this training is also useful for teachers who are developing research instruments.]]>

<![CDATA[PRACTICES TO USE MOBILE-BASED VIRTUAL REALITY TECHNOLOGY FOR LEARNING MEDIA ASSEMBLING PERSONAL COMPUTER. The Vocational High Schools are still teaching assembling computers in the conventional way. However, this method is deemed ineffective and inefficient, because of the continuous development of computer technology and very expensive prices. The current covid pandemic condition is also a new problem that makes it difficult for students to practice assembling computers face-to-face. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to utilize virtual reality (VR) technology as a learning medium to simulate PC assembly. The first the PC assembly learning application was made using Java Android program which was adjusted to the basic curriculum for computer assembly. Second, if this application has been successfully created, training will be carried out for students. The training will be carried out in several stages, the first stage by registering, filling out a questionnaire via Google Form. The second stage, the provision of material that will begin with an explanation of the introduction of VR technology. The third stage, is the setting and installation of the PC assembly learning program with VR on the Android cellphone of each participant, followed by the participants practicing the use of the VR program with VR glasses 3 D. The results of the student questionnaire stated that they had previously known that VR technology could be used. as a medium of learning in schools worth 34%. The results of the questionnaire after PKM were held, the results of 88.25% of students felt that VR was useful if it was used in the education sector such as computer assembly.]]>

<![CDATA[EMPOWERING CREATIVE ECONOMY: DIVERSIFICATION OF PROCESSED CHICKEN PRODUCTS IN TANAH SAREAL, BOGOR. The demand for food of animal origin (PAH) is increasing rapidly in Bogor. The demand dominated by broiler products from the Pondokrumput chicken shelter and slaughter facility (TPnA), Tanah Sareal. The TPnA business unit is located in densely populated settlements and sometimes causes social, economic and environmental problems. There is a negative perspective on the neglect of the TPnA business unit in community involvement so that it has negative implications for the existence of the business unit. One of the efforts to reduce its negative impact is to invite the community around TpnA to participate in the processing of TpnA's fresh chicken production into the advanced processed chicken, among others by using the "ungkep" chicken technique. The prospect of the “ungkep” chicken market is promising and can contribute to improving the local community's economy. Chicken "ungkep" has many variations of the preparation to meet the needs of public consumption. Besides, the use of basic spices, spices and proper cooking techniques in chicken produces flavour, without the need for flavourings. This chicken product certainly meets the rules of safe-healthy-whole-halal (ASUH) and is durable. This community service activity was expected to contribute to inspiration, motivation, insight, and creativity. Another contribution is to provide increased knowledge, experience and added value to the business unit for shelters, chicken slaughterhouses (TpnA). Finally, this activity is also useful for local communities who do not yet have a small business base.]]>
