Abstract

This research is the evolutionary analysis of the literature on articles or writing that discusses the use of software in learning at Ahmad Dahlan University during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this article is a literature study with several-page articles or articles from the world wide web, which is conducting with a narrative type (exposure) related to the topic of using the software in teaching-learning in the Covid-19 pandemic. The writer uses the data analysis technique by filtering (applies filters), based on 2019-2020. With the provisions of the title relevant to learning software, and the topic. Criteria in claims relating to software, applications, learning, campus, and pandemic or Covid-19. Thus the writer can further refine the article and match the subject matter, which is at the heart of the conflict to use as reading material and references in this article review—based on titles relevant to computer learning software and the topic. Overall, the core of this discussion is computer software that is popular in a pandemic, specially selected and used in learning at Ahmad Dahlan University.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the leadership of female teachers in managing classes in Muhammadiyah schools in the Pleret region, Bantul, Yogyakarta (DIY). This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach to classify the leadership abilities of female teachers in managing the class. The research was carried out in Muhammadiyah schools in the Pleret area, Bantul, DIY. Respondents in this study were 60 teachers who teach at Muhammadiyah schools in Pleret, Bantul. The data collection technique in this study was to use a questionnaire that was distributed to all research samples who were randomly selected. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been carried out, it can be concluded that most of the female teachers in the Muhamamdiyah Pleret school, Bantul, have fairly good leadership abilities (83%) and 15% of female teachers have excellent leadership in managing learning. This is a natural potential possessed by Muhammmadiyah in Pleret Bantul, to continue to develop their abilities so that they become better in the future.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the impact of the implementation of managerial strategies undertaken by principals on the achieve-ment of principals' quality. This research using quantitative research and sample in this study amounted to 27 SMA Negeri in Bandung through panel data regression analysis during the 2016-2018 period. The results showed that managerial strategy signi-ficantly influenced the achievement of school quality. Managerial strategies in this study are measured into three strategies: 1) the effectiveness of school management, 2) strengthening the competence of graduates, 3) empowering teachers and staff. The effectiveness of school management strategies has a significantly positive effect on school quality outcomes, strategy of strengthen-ing the competencies of graduates and empowering teachers and staff has no significant effect on the achievement of school quality during the 2016-2018 period. As a recommendation, school prin-cipals should encourage graduate competencies through empo-wering teachers and staff to be actively involved so that school quality can be achieved.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of the zoning PPDB in improving the quality of education at SMPN 107 Jakarta. Data were collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques with the Countenance Stake model. Qualitative descriptive analysis technique through QSR NVivo 12 software. The results of the study were: (1) The antecedent component showed a match between the availability of PPDB policy tools at SMP Negeri 107 and the policy in the DKI Jakarta Government. The availability of facilities both online and offline had been fulfilled. It was necessary to improve the stability of internet by reviewing the providers used. Criteria based on capacity with age selection. The change in the determination of the capacity from 36 changes to 40 students per study group. Zoning was determined by using district and subdistrict; (2) The transaction component showed that the PPDB mechanism and process at SMPN 107 was in standard with Kepdis No. 501/2020. PPDB was carried out online through the ppdb.jakarta.go.id site. There was server problems and unstable internet networks; (3) the outcome component of the decline in the quality of student learning achievement. Heterogeneous characteristics of students made competition between students less optimal, resulting in decreased learning enthusiasm.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Continuous Professional Development (PKB) program by elementary school teachers in three Teacher Working Groups (KKG) related to the study of input, process, out put and out come using descriptive qualitative methods. The data were obtained through observation, interview and document review. The results of the study found that SD did not have a PKB work program. The indicators can be seen from the inadequate function of school management in planning, implementing, evaluating, organizing and planning the follow-up after PKB implementation. The results show that the aspects of planning, PKB implementation are carried out by KKG, evaluation system based on PKB SIM, while the follow-up plans for schools and teachers have not been carried out continuously and independently in scientific forum activities based on the needs of teachers and schools. The result is that the implementation of PKB has not had an impact on increasing self-development, the ability of teachers to make scientific work and innovation work. Another obstacle is the lack of budget support from the local government and the weak motivation of teachers to improve their competence. Therefore, a more Participatory, Integrated and Holistic PKB (PKB-PTH) implementation model is needed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the headmaster’s leadership style and the factors that affect the leadership behavior of the headmaster at the State Elementary School 2 Bencah, South Bangka Regency. This study was descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the headmaster, teachers of grade I (one) to grade VI (six), several students in grade V (five), and students in grade VI (six). The data collection techniques used in this study were observation and interviews. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and concluding—the data validity test techniques used by source triangulation. The results of the study showed that the leadership style used by the headmaster at the State Elementary School 2 Bencah tends to the democratic, aggressive leadership style. It can see from the way the headmaster solving problems and making decisions, which is always carrying out by arranging meetings, discussions, and forums with staff and teachers. However, the headmaster also always gives punishment to undisciplined teachers and rewards for outstanding teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the mental readiness of Muhammadiyah teachers in entering or facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 60 respondents from 5 Junior High Schools (SMP) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data were taken using a questionnaire and analyzed using a regression test. The results of the study indicate that the mental readiness of Muhammadiyah teachers in entering or facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is influenced by the behavioral readiness and health readiness possessed by the Muhammadiyah teachers. The significance value of the influence of behavioral readiness on the mental readiness of teachers is 0.019; while the significance value of the influence of health readiness on the mental readiness of Muhammadiyah teachers in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is 0.040.
