Abstract

This study is based on the mathematical communication ability and mathematical dispositions of students which are still deemed insufficient. One innovation in mathematics learning that can help improve mathematical communication skills and mathematical dispositions mastery is a realistic mathematics education approach with a group investigation strategy that focuses on students’ involvement actively and it is associated with daily life in the overall learning activities. The sample in the study was the fifth-grade student of SDN 2 Ciwaru and SDN 1 Sumberjaya in Ciwaru Sub-District, Kuningan Regency. The results showed that a realistic mathematics education approach with group investigation and conventional learning strategies gave a significant effect on students' mathematical communication ability and mathematical dispositions, there were significant differences between realistic mathematics education approaches with a group investigation strategies and conventional learning in improving students' mathematical communication skills and mathematical dispositions, and there is no significant relationship between students' mathematical communication skills and mathematical dispositions using the realistic mathematics education approach with a group investigation strategy.

Abstract

The conventional learning methods have always been applied to science learning that makes students passive so that their thinking process becomes slow and not creative. Project-based learning is an alternative learning model that is suitable for use in science learning. This study realized to increase students' understanding and creative thinking skills in science learning, especially ecosystem component materials. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this study are the implementation of project-based learning using the zoom application is very popular and fosters enthusiasm for learning for students, there is an increase in students' understanding of the ecosystem component material where the pretest results show 73% of students do not meet the criteria while the posttest results from 87% of students get a good category. In addition, the products made by students show that project-based learning can improve students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Banyaknya konsep IPA yang harus dipelajari di Sekolah Dasar mengharuskan siswa paham apa yang terkandung pada konsep dalam IPA tersebut. Dalam pembelajaran IPA siswa harus lebih aktif dan terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran dan penemuan konsep. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi atau menimbulkan keterampilan proses sains dan kemampuan penguasaan konsep siswa dalam pembelajaran yang akan diterapkan agar siswa dapat berperan aktif dan mendapatkan langsung pengalaman belajar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran IPA adalah dengan menggunakan pembelajaran predict-observe-explain (POE).  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perspektif guru dalam pengaruh model POE terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan penguasaan konsep siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru di kelas tinggi yang berasal dari 13 sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikamalaya. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah proportional sampling sehingga jumlah sampel sebanyak 52 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa perspektif guru dalam model pembelajaran predict-observe-explain (POE) terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan penguasaan konsep siswa berpengaruh positif, model predict-observe-explain (POE) memberikan pengaruh yang sangat kuat terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan penguasaan konsep. Dengan adanya temuan ini akan berimplikasi terhadap kualiatas peserta didik terutama dari segi keterampilan proses sains dan penguasaan konsep siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas II SDN 125 Taruna Karya di Kecamatan Cibiru, Kota Bandung. Siswa kesulitan menulis dengan benar. Hanya beberapa siswa yang dapat menulis dengan rapi dan beberapa dari mereka tidak dapat menulis dengan rapi dan rapi. Oleh karena itu, penulis menggunakan media interaktif "libas" untuk membantu siswa mengatasi kesulitan menulis berulang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kurt Lewin yang memiliki empat hal, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, dalam setiap siklus Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus pertama peningkatanhasil belajar penelitian persentase sebesar 46%, pada siklus kedua meningkatkan Peningkatan sebesar 71%, dan siklus meningkat 60% siswa yang menyelesaikan. Karenanya dengan bantuan media interaktif “libas” dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis di kelas II SDN 125 Taruna Karya.

Abstract

This study aims to see ability master concepts and scientific attitudes of students that arise through the application of the Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create (RADEC) learning model. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The participants in this study consisted of 15 fifth grade students in an elementary school in South Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency. The data was collected through observations on the implementation of learning which included teacher performance, observations on student activities, observations of scientific attitudes and tests of students' conceptual mastery abilities. Observations are carried out during learning process, while student ability tests are given at the beginning and end learning, then analyzed through data reduction, presentation and conclusions. From this research, the results obtained are that the implementation of learsning given the treatment of the RADEC learning model carried out online effectively through the Zoom application, Mastery of students' concepts is well achieved as evidenced, and all these scientific attitudes emerge and can foster good self-efficacy which has positive values after being given the RADEC learning.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang hadir di lapangan yaitu berkaitan dengan hasil belajar IPS di SD Negeri Cigadog II. Hal tersebut terlihat bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di SD Negeri Cigadog II masih rendah. Sehingga digunakan model Group Investigation (GI). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus kajian model Group Investigation (GI) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS. Tujuannya yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan model Group Investigation (GI) yang sudah dilaksanakan oleh guru dan untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru akan model Group Investigation (GI).  Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen pedoman wawancara, pedoman angket, dan pedoman dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis data model Miles and Huberman. Sampel yang dipilih yaitu guru. Melalui hasil penelitian didapat bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS di SD Negeri Cigadog II sudah dilaksanakan berdasarkan kurikulum yang ada. Kemudian pemahaman guru terhadap pelaksanakaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan Group Investigation (GI) pun dapat dikatakan baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil angket dan wawancara yang dilaksanakan dengan guru di SD Negeri Cigadog II. Berdasarakan data yang didapat menyatakan bahwa dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini guru sudah memahami tentang penerapan model Group Investigation (GI) dalam pembelajaran IPS. Meski begitu, guru harus tetap meningkatkan pemahaman tentang penerapan model Group Investigation (GI) dan juga memperlihatkan kesiapan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model Group Investigation (GI).

Abstract

The purpose of this research to see representation of upgrading earning outcome dan creative thinking skills in social studies use the flashcard.  It was done in Mulyasari elementary school. This research was an action research using Kemmis adn Mc. Taggart design which in its implementation give some repaired to fix the problems. The seubject were students of class IV. The target of this research is 80% for earning outcome according to KKM and 80% for creative thinking skills. This research was done of theree cycle. In cycle III, the percentage of the  teacher performance in planning and implementing earning is 100%, the percentage of the student passed the standard of achievement while the other is 82,002, and the percentage of creative thinking skills is 87,1%. Based on these results it can be concluded there is upgrading for earning outcome and creative thinking skills on earning to use flashcard.

Abstract

The advance of technology information in the 4.0 era was grow rapidly and affected to the education system especially in the development of learning methods. This research aims to know about learning plan, learning process and students feedback in order to create the creative thinking skills of 5th grade student in social science through Google Classroom. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects in this study are 5th grade students of SDN Sukatani, Tanjungmedar, Sumedang. The research sample amounted to 20 students consisting of 7 boys and 13 girls. The research results show that the teacher’s plan to do e-learning through Google Classroom was well detailed. Therefore, the influence, feedback, and learning process of 5th grade students of SDN Sukatani while doing e-learning through Google Classroom  using the google classroom in order to improve creative thinking skills are categorized as moderate.

Abstract

Innovation learning by using MURRDERR strategy assisted by android-based so that becomes a solution to improve reflective thingking skills and students motivation learning in elementary school. This research used quasi-experimental method, with nonequivalent control grup design. The population is all class of V grade in Sumedang Selatan Subdistrict, with sample of grade V-A SDN Sukaraja 1 (grup class of experiment) and V-B SDN Sukaraja 1 (grup calss of control). Counclusions from this research are : 1) MURRDERR strategy assisted by android-based media is significantly better at improving reflective thinking skills than conventional learning. 2) MURRDERR strategy assisted by android-based media, and conventional learning can improve student motivation learning most increases significantly. 3) There is a positive relationship between the ability of reflective thinking skills with student motivation.

Abstract

The background of this research is the author’s interest in mastery concepts and scientific attitudes in elementary school. However, the fact is mastery concepts and scientific attitudes of students are still very low. The application of the RADEC model in learning activities is one of the new breakthroughs that can be made in order to increasing mastery concepts and growing up scientific attitudes. RADEC learning is directing students to construct their understanding independently through learning syntaxs that must be done systematically. The purpose of this research is to know the learning process using the RADEC model, mastery concepts of students and the scientific attitudes that appear in students during the learning activities through zoom meetings. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Respondents in this study were fifth grade students of SDN Sukaraja I. This study uses concept mastering questions and observation guidelines instruments. The results showed that: (1) The process of implementing RADEC learning was very effective. (2) Concepts mastering of students has increased after doing RADEC learning where all students have mastered the concept of “Benda dan Perubahannya” materials. (3) The scientific attitude that appears in students is the attitude of responsibility, accuracy, curiosity, critical thinking and cooperation. The five scientific attitudes continue to increase in percentage at each stage. The implication of this research is to make a practical contribution that the application of the RADEC learning model in learning activities can improve students' mastery concepts and scientific attitudes.
