Abstract

This research was based on the teacher centered implementation that still be used so it effected to the low activity and the acquisition of student of 4th grade  at SDN Pasirbenteng II in Rancakalong Sumedang about Natural Resources subjects. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, improvement activity and student comprehension about material natural resources using Mind Map method and Think-Talk-Write strategy. The instruments used were teacher performance observation sheets, interview guidelines, field notes, student worksheets and learning outcomes tests. The results showed that it has succeeded improved activity and student comprehension. Teacher performance in cycle 1 in planning achieved 73% and 85% in implementation. The 2nd cycle got planning 93%, and implementation 96%. In Cycle 3 got 97% at planning and 96% at implementation. Student activities, in cycle 1 got 54%, in cycle 2 got 60% and in cycle 3 got 82%. Then, student learning outcomes from the first data collected refer to 56%, in 1st cycle got 59%, 2nd cycle got 69% and then the 3rd cycle increased to 87% and it has exceeded the expectation target in about 85%.

Abstract

The research is in the form of systematic mapping carried out with bibliometric analysis on the topic of study on gamelan in the 2010-2020 period. This study aims to obtain a description of the bibliography on gamelan topics contained in database from Scopus. This analysis was also conducted in a structured manner through four stages: (1) collecting bibliographies through Scopus metadata with the help of PoP software; (2) filling in incomplete metadata in online EndNote; (3) checking bibliographic attributes; (4) conducting bibliometric analysis with the help of VOSviewer. According to the analysis, it shows that the number of citations most often occurred in 2013. The most publication tren occurred in 2019. Wulandari D.P is the one who has the strongest collaboration ties. The most widely used title term is 'gamelan'. The most dominant abstract term is 'gamelan'. Then, the most widely used keyword term is 'music'.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mendorong pada upaya untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam bidang pendidikan salah satunya adalah dengan pembelajaran online. Padasaatadanya virus covid-19 pembelajaran online diharapkan mampu menjadi salah satusolusi  agar tetap terlaksananya pembelajaran yang dilakukan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran online di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Sumedang Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif tipe survey dengan desain cross sectional design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen non tes berupa angket, wawancara dan catatan hasil lapangan. Adapun simpulan yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah 1) Pembelajaran online dapat berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas mengajar guru di Sekolah Dasar dalam pembelajaran. 2) Pembelajaran online dapat berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar dalam pembelajaran. 3) Pembelajaran online memiliki faktor pendukung terhadap siswa di Sekolah Dasar. 4) Pembelajaran online memiliki faktor penghambat terhadap siswa di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The research conducted in VB class of East Palimanan 1 Elementary School was motivated by the conditions in the learning of advertisements writing skills that were still low on the elements of the advertisement sentence. To overcome the difficulties of students in writing advertisements, an increase is made by applying the think talk write strategies and peer correction techniques. This research was conducted using the class action research method, with a research design model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, learning outcomes tests, and field notes. Student learning outcomes in this study assessed advertisements that were in accordance with the elements of advertisement, advertisement language and choice of words, advertisement images, in the first cycle students completed 15 (60%) students, the second cycle reached 19 (76%) students, and the third cycles reached 23 (92%) students who complete.

Abstract

The existence of limitations in teaching and learning should not make teachers lose the opportunity to develop methods and learning strategies that are carried out. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the character formation of students must still be considered. The use of media during learning can help teachers deliver material and audio-visual media is one of the learning media that can be used. The purpose of the studyawas to determine the understanding and assessment of teachers in implementing social studies learning using audio-visual media to improve the disciplined character of students during the pandemic. The research method uses descriptive quantitative with a survey research design. The population of the study was an "A" accredited elementary school teacher in Sumedang District using a questionnaireainstrument. The results showed that the teacher's understanding in carrying out social studies learning based on audio-visual media to improve the disciplined character of students during the pandemic was very good. The teacher's assessment of audio-visual media in developing the disciplined character of students in social studies subjects during the pandemic is very good.

Abstract

Berdasarkan wawancara bersama guru kelas V SDN II Ciuyah, permasalahan utama yang terjadi di kelas V yaitu kurangnya minat atau ketertarikan siswa dalam membaca karena teks bacaan yang terlalu banyak, kebahasaan yang terlalu tinggi, dan ketidakmampuan siswa untuk mentranformasikan suatu kalimat yang utuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti yaitu penelitian tindakan (Action Research) level 1. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan Focus Group Discussion atau FGD. Data-data yang telah didapatkan akan diolah dengan pengolahan data kualitatif dan disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif untuk memudahkan pembaca dalam memahami penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian perencanaan pembelajaran menyatakan bahwa RPP yang disusun sebagai perencanaan pembelajaran ini telah sesuai dengan langkah-langkah dari strategi DRTA dan mampu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan menentukan gagasan pokok. Sedngkan, hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran menyatakan bahwa setiap langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang disusun telah mengacu pada langkah-langkah strategi DRTA itu sendiri. Kemudian hambatan yang muncul dari pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi DRTA adalah informasi yang didapatkan oleh siswa tidak langsung, sehingga membutuhkan konfirmasi dari guru. Selain itu, guru kurang mampu membimbing siswa dalam setiap langkah pembelajaran.

Abstract

Environmental problems continue to grow. If it is not immediately resolved, the sustainability of the earth will be threatened. Therefore humans must have the ability to think creatively to overcome these environmental problems. The creative thinking must be developed from the age of elementary school especially through science learning. So a quasi-experimental study was conducted for determine the effect of quantum learning assisted by CCTP games and mind mapping games for creative thinking and to find out which is better between the two games in increasing creative thinking. The research sample was VA and VC grade students at Tegalkalong Elementary School located in North Sumedang District. The instruments used are creative thinking test questions and supported by several qualitative data. After learning as many as 3 meetings, the conclusion is obtained that: (1) Quantum learning with the help of these two games can improve the ability to creative thinking. The increase in creative thinking skills of students treated by using quantum learning helfed game of CCTP was no better than students who were treated using quantum learning helfed by mind mapping games significantly (μ1 = μ2), meaning that both games were not better with each other.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to see how RADEC learning is implemented via zoom meetings on heat transfer subject, as well as to see how students' critical thinking skills improve after learning. In this study, three markers were used to increase students' critical thinking skills: offering a straightforward explanation of heat transfer, solving heat transfer questions, and closing the topic. The participants in this study were one teacher who used a zoom meeting to educate using the RADEC model and six grade 6 students from SD Islam Al-Falah 1 Pagi. Observation, documentation, exams, and questionnaires were utilized to collect data. Students' critical thinking skills are assessed by tests, and student answers are assessed through questionnaires after learning. According to the findings of this study, the use of zoom meetings to apply RADEC learning is effective and has a favorable impact on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada penelitian ini yaitu pada saat pembelajaran guru hanya menggunakan pembelajaran yang konvensional dan tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran yang inovatif yang berdampak pada tidak tercapainya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas V SDN Panyingkiran III Kecamatan Sumedang Utara Kabupaten Sumedang, pada penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan bagaimana merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan hambatan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi peristiwa kebangsaan seputar proklamasi kemerdekaan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan level 1 dengan tujuan hanya memberikan hipotesis tindakan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Ada beberapa teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket/kuisioner, dan FGD (focus goup discussion). Dalam validasi data pada penelitian ini menggunakan member check, triangulasi, dan expert opinion. Berdasarkan temuan dilapangan yang memperoleh data penelitian menunjukan hasil yang positif pada angket dengan presetase 92 %, observasi 95%, dan untuk penguatan pada hasil menggunakan FGD.

Abstract

This study was carried out by the findings of researcher, where there was the second grade students at Bojong Koneng Elementary School who didn’t have the early reading skills. From the results of the initial observations conducted by researchers, this problem happens due to the use of teaching materials that are still conventional during the implementation of online learning, especially in the Covid-19 pandemic period. The purpose of this study was to obtain a solution to the problems that occurred at Bojong Koneng Elementary School. The researcher chose to develop technology-based early reading teaching materials as a solution. The research instrument used in this study is the guidelines interviews, expert validation sheets, and documentation. The final result obtained by the researcher, based on the validation of the develop technology-based early reading teaching materials has a very valid feasibility rate.
