Abstract

This research is based on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The goal of this research is to find out how the influence of cinematic video media towards students' critical thinking; to find out the different influence of cinematic video media and conventional learning on students' critical thinking skills; and to find out how the students’ respond to learning using cinematic video media. The design of this research is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is the class V elementary school students in Cisarua Subdistrict with a research sample of SDN Ciuyah II class V as the experimental class and SDN Cisalak II class V as the control class. The instruments used in this research are thinking ability test questions, teacher observation sheets and student activities, attitude scale questionnaires, and interviews. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that: There is a positive influence that shows an increase in the ability of students in the experimental class, the use of better video media on how to improve students' thinking skills, and most students in the experimental class respond positively to learning using cinematic video media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the description of distance learning activities, to know the design of scrapbook module teaching materials in integrated thematic learning and to know the expert validation of scrapbook module teaching materials in integrated thematic learning. This research was conducted because of the lack of creative and fun learning. The instruments used are interview guidelines, field notes format, validation sheets, lesson plans. Initial data collection techniques used interviews, observations and field notes. The research method used is descriptive research method, Model Design and Development or research and development with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the validation of the development of scrapbook module teaching materials by material experts, media experts and users showed that scrapbook module teaching materials in integrated thematic learning were categorized as very feasible to use based on the conversion of assessment criteria.

Abstract

At the elementary school level there is a science learning that discusses all about natural events, science learning requires the ability of student creativity so that learning can run well, to assist teachers in bringing out student creativity, teachers can implement outdoor learning learning. With outdoor learning, the teacher can involve students' creativity in learning science. This study aims to look at the teacher's perspective in the application of outdoor learning to student creativity in public elementary schools in the Cibeunying Kidul sub-district. The research method uses quantitative descriptive and the research design is survey. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire with the form Google, population and samples in this study were teachers who were found in 10 elementary schools in the Cibeunying Kidul sub-district, the conclusion of this study there was an influence between outdoor learning and student creativity.

Abstract

Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini karena masih terdapat siswa yang belum tuntas pada materi menulis saran di Kelas III SDN Panyingkiran 3. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut maka diterapkan Model Pembelajaran Bermain Peran Berbasis VCT Berbantuan Media Kertas Gulung. Tujuannya yaitu untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan observasi, wawancara, tes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, catatan lapangan, soal. Hasil penelitian ranah afektif siklus I diperoleh 63%, siklus II  80%, siklus III 100% mendapat kriteria baik. Ranah kognitif siklus I terdapat 43%, siklus II 63%, siklus III 91% siswa tuntas. Untuk ranah psikomotor pada siklus I terdapat  26%, siklus II 43%, siklus III 86% siswa tuntas. Dapat disimpulkan dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Bermain Peran Berbasis VCT Berbantuan Media Kertas Gulung dapat membantu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis saran siswa kelas III SDN Panyingkiran 3.

Abstract

With a problem-solving model, students will gradually grow to be complete, Students will gradually grow to be complete, meaning that student changes do not only occur in cognition but also emotions and mental movements with an internal understanding of the problems at hand. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation, improvement, and response of students regarding the use of animated videos in elementary school students' learning. . The research was using qualitative descriptive with a homeroom teacher and 4th-grade students that using instruments in the form of documentation, tests, and interviews. There are found several obstacles in the implementation of online learning such as smartphones, quotas, and internet networks. The results from this research, that the use of animated video with the learning model of problem-solving was implemented properly. There was an increased inability in the learning process, students actively asked questions and were able to conclude the material presented. In addition, the students' responses were very good, as seen from their enthusiasm and enthusiasm to ask questions without fear of being wrong and embarrassed. Here it appears that there is a change in a very good direction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui pengaruh dalam kemandirian belajar terhadap prestasi belajar. Metode yang dipakai pada peneltian ini adalah survey dengan analisis korelasional dan berdasarkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk melihat ada tidaknya pengaruh antara kemandirian belajar dengan prestasi belajar serta seberapa besar hubungannya. Penelitian ini mengambil populasi di SDN Balimaster 01 di Kota Jakarta dan 27 sample di kelas IV-B. Instrumen yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket 30 item pernyataan dan wawancara 11 item untuk guru dan 10 item untuk siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa faktor penghambat kemandirian belajar adalah siswa merasa kesulitan dan kurang memahami bagaimana cara menggunakan rumus matematika, terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kemandirian belajar dengan prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 23% dipengaruhi faktor kemandirian dan 77% dipengaruhi faktor yang lain, upaya guru untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika yang memberikan metode pembelajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that applies continuously and universally. Because mathematics is obtained based on reasoning. The mathematical concept that is learned through reasoning  is  very  helpful  for  humans  in  matters  of  daily  life.  The  scope  of  the mathematical material taught in elementary school is geometry, one of which is many facets. To master material as much as it is regular and irregular, it requires the ability of mathematical  understanding  to  master  it.  Determining  a  lot  correctly  needs  to  be believed, because there are some students who are not confident in the results that have been calculated. One of the efforts to improve students' mathematical understanding and self-efficacy is to use the CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) approach. This study used a group control pretest-posttest group design, with a fourth grade sample at SDN 3Arjawinangun Cirebon. This study aims to determine the effect of the CTL approach to comprehension  and  self-efficacy,  knowing  the  effect  of  conventional  approaches  to comprehension and self-efficacy and knowing the correlation between comprehension and self-efficacy. The results of this study are posttest scores on the ability of understanding and self-efficacy in the experimental class and the control experienced an increase from the results of the value of the pretest of comprehension and self-efficacy. In addition there is an increase in N-Gain on the results of the pretest and posttest results. But there is no correlation  between  the  ability  of  mathematical  understanding  and  self-efficacy.  The conclusions obtained from this study are 1) there is a positive effect of the CTL approach on the ability of mathematical understanding and self-efficacy, 2) there is a positive effect of conventional approaches on mathematical understanding and self-efficacy abilities, 3) there is a correlation between mathematical and self-understanding abilities efficacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan atas ketertarikan penulis terhadap berpikir kritis siswa dan problem based learning untuk proses pembelajaran di masa pandemi ini. Pembelajaran yang bersifat pemecahan masalah pada abad ke-21 ini penting diterapkan pada siswa Sekolah Dasar dan penggunaan metode problem based learning untuk proses pembelajaran di masa pandemi ini dirasa akan efektif untuk pelaksanaanya. Dengan  menerapkan problem based learning (PBL) dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran ini merupakan cara yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dimiliki oleh siswa di abad ke-21 ini, anak akan diasah guna mendapatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tinggi meskipun dalam pembelajaran yang terrbatas.a Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pembelajaran Problem Based Learning siswa kelas V menggunakan media Zoom Meeting pada materi benda tunggal dan campuran, untuk mengetahui berpikir kritis siswa kelas V menggunakan media Zoom Meeting pada materi benda tunggal dan campuran setelah pembelajaran PBL. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V di SDN Sawahdadap II Kecamatan Cimanggung Kabupaten Sumedang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran PBL yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran pada materi benda tunggal dan campuran di kelas V ini mempunyai hasil yang sangat baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V ini. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang kurang ketika pembelajaran jarak jauh memberikan implikasi kepada guru agar lebih aktif dalam menerapkan PBL, dengan menggunakan PBL kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang ada akan meningkat, sehingga model PBL ini dapat menjadi salah satu model yang cocok diterapkan ketika pembelajaran jarak jauh ini agar siswa tidak merasa bosan dengan pembelajaran yang searah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemahaman guru terhadap model problem based learning, bagaimana pemahaman guru terhadap penguasaan konsep ekoliterasi siswa, bagaimana pemahaman guru tentang pengaruh penggunaan model problem based learning terhadap penguasaan konsep ekoliterasi siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket/kuesioner tentang pemahaman guru terhadap model problem based learning terhadap penguasaan konsep ekoliterasi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survey. Populasi penelitian yaitu 101 guru dari 7 sekolah dasar di wilayah Kecamatan Cicalengka, Kabupaten Bandung. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik cluster sampling (sampel area). Sehingga ukuran sampel adalah 50 guru. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukan pemahaman guru terhadap model problem based learning adalah dengan kategori sedang dan cukup memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembelajaran IPA dalam menggunakan model problem based learning. Pemahaman guru terhadap penguasaan konsep ekoliterasi siswa dapat dikategorikan baik. Dan pemahaman guru tentang pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap penguasaan konsep ekoliterasi siswa adalah berpengaruh positif. Penelitian ini berimplikasi (1). Adanya dari pihak guru maupun sekolah untuk lebih meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khususnya pada pembelajaran IPA, (2). Adanya upaya guru kelas untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan membuat model atau metode pembelajaran yang dapat menambah pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students conceptual and procedural abilities in solving problems in multiplication operations and to know the factors that cause students to experience solving problems difficulties in multiplication operations in third grade students in  SDN Sukamaju, SDN Panyingkiran I, and SDN Panyingkiran II. This reseacrh uses descriptive methods with the subject of reseacrh is all third students in SDN  Sukamaju, SDN Panyingkiran I, and SDN Panyingkiran II that amount to one hundred people. Data collection techniques and research instruments that used are diagnostic test, interview guidelines, and teacher performance guidelines. The data analysis technique that used is descriptive statistics. The result of the research indicate that students’ conceptual abilities in the multiplication counting operation material are still fairly low. Students make a alot of mistakes when they’re completing test question. The most mistakes that student do in diagnostic test is in the final result and the least error is in the use of mathematical symbols. Students’ procedural abilities in solving problems in multiplication operation is fairly low. If viewed based on the stages of problem solving, the most ability that mastered by students is the ablity of understand the problem and the least ability is the ability of check back the solution and expend the problem. The factors that caused students to experience difficulties in solving problems in multiplication operations, includes by the factors that cause errors in working on diagnostic test question, internal factors and external factors.
