Abstract

Parental attention is very important, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. So the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental attention during the Covid-19 pandemic on student learning outcomes in mathematics. This research is a quantitative research using survey method. The data collection technique used a parental attention questionnaire and documentation of the value of math report cards. Data analysis used linear regression analysis with one predictor. The results showed the average value of parental attention was 82.04 and for the percentage of 46.08% parents always guide their children in learning, 43.04% parents always motivate their children to learn, and 58.23% parents always provide learning facilities. As for the results of learning mathematics the average value is 82.40. Hypothesis testing shows that there is a significant effect between parental attention during the Covid-19 pandemic on mathematics learning outcomes. The contribution given by parents' attention to students' mathematics learning outcomes is 20.6%, the rest is due to the influence of other variables.

Abstract

Pemahaman merupakan hal terpenting dalam setiap proses pembelajaran terutama pada pembelajaran IPS. Pemahaman merupakan bagian dari ranah kognitif. Dalam taksonomi bloom disebutkan bahwa pemahaman artinya proses, perbuatan, cara memahami atau memahamkan sesuatu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini sendiri adalah untuk menganalisis kajian bibliometrik pemahaman pada pembelajaran IPS yang telah diterbitkan dalam jurnal internasional dalam scopus jangka waktu tahun 2010-2019. Ada empat tahapan pada penelitian yang dilakukan secara sistematis dan terstruktur dalam penelitian analisis bibliometrik ini, yaitu: (1) mencari artikel menggunakan perangkat lunak Publish or Perish; (2) penyaringan artiel yang akan dimasukkan dalam analisis bibliometrik; (3) memeriksa dan melengkapi metadata artikel; (4) melakukan analisis bibliometrik menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSiewer. Hasil dari analisis bibliometrik tersebut adalah: (1) kata kunci penulis yang palig banyak digunakan adalah pemahaman, pembelajaran IPS, pemahaman pada pembelajaran IPS; (2) perkembangan publikasi pada penelitian ini menunjukkan pola naik dan turun setiap tahunnya; (3) hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya kolaborasi antar penulis; (4) istilah judul yang paling banyak digunakan dalam penelitian pemahaman pada pembelajaran IPS adalah pemahaman, pembelajaran IPS. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian pemahaman pada pembelajran IPS setiap tahunnya dalam publikasi mengalami pola naik turun dan tidak ada kolaborasi antar penulis.Kata Kunci: bibliometrik, pemahaman, pembelajaran IPS, Publish or Perish, VOSviewer.

Abstract

Education requires innovation to be able to compete with other countries, one of which is in the field of scientific literacy. This study was conducted to determine the increase in scientific literacy of class V students of heat transfer material through blended learning. The research method used is a quasi-experiment that compares two different groups of classes. The design used is nonequivalent control group design or the presence of a control and experimental group. Cijambe I Elementary School as a control group using offline blended learning and Cijambe II Elementary School as an experimental group using online blended learning. The findings are that the increase in scientific literacy of students in the experimental class is higher than the control class, this is evidenced by the difference in the average in the control class is lower than the experiment. The value of the difference in the average experimental class was 16.94 while the control class was 0.93. The improvement of students' scientific literacy skills in heat transfer material through online blended learning compared to offline.

Abstract

Reading difficulties are type of disability that students experience when learning to read; In the form of behaviors and habits can be carefully observed because they have distinct characteristics. There are many factors that affect reading difficulty. In general, they can be caused by internal and external factors. The researcher wanted to investigate the characteristics of reading difficulties that students had, the factors that influenced them, and the mentoring efforts they made. This study uses a qualitative approach using a case study design. Research data collected from interviews, observations, document analysis and field notes. The subjects of the study are fourth grade students with reading difficulties, parents and teachers of student who have reading difficulties. The results characterize reading comprehension difficulties faced by students are, (1) difficulty identifying specific letters, (2) adding, deleting and replacing words, (3) difficulty identifying difficult words and (4) not good in reading. The factors that cause reading difficulties in students are related to psychological conditions, parenting patterns and management of education. Accompaniment that given are an emotional approach and habituation.

Abstract

This research aims to know the application of role playing model can enhance cooperation and student learning outcomes in Social Science subjects in class V D Tegalkalong SDN.  The research method used i.e., class Act (PTK). Subjects in the study are grade V D SDN Tegalkalong that add up to 29 students. This research was carried out in three cycles. The increased cooperation of the students characterized by an increase in the percentage of each aspect of the cooperation of pre stage action to cycle 3, cycle 1 as much as 54%, 71% of the number of cycle 2 and cycle 3, reaches 100%. Improved student learning outcomes are characterized by an increase in the percentage of each aspect of the results of the study of the stages of the pre an action until the cycle 3, cycle 1 reaches 78%, reaching 83% of cycle 2 and cycle 3, reaching 100%. So that corrective actions were stopped on 3rd cycle due to the already very reasonably meet the expected targets on this research.

Abstract

This research was conducted as a way to help overcome problems regarding students' difficulties in understanding the material and how to express good gratitude and requests for help related to speaking skills in grade I at SDN Sindang I. The instruments used are in the form of interview guidelines and validation sheets. Initial data collection techniques using interviews. Methods used research and development methods(Design and Development)using qualitative approaches. The results showed that validation of audio visual-based media development by material experts in round I by 74% and round II by 88%. While the results of validation by media design experts and users (teachers) are carried out one round and obtained a rating of 88% from media design experts and 91.58% from users (teachers). This shows that audio visual-based media belongs to a very valid category and can be used without revision based on conversion of validity assessment criteria.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di SD mengharuskan siswa terlibat langsung dalam suatu alur pembelajaran, agar pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna bagi siswa. Sehingga siswa lebih kreatif dan aktif dalam kelas guna mengeksplor kemampuannya dalam belajar dan menerima pelajaran yang disampaikan. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif berkaitan erat dengan suatu kreativitas yang sangat diperlukan untuk memecahkan suatu masalah dan menemukan konsep-konsep dalam pembelajaran IPA. Begitupun dengan motivasi belajar siswa yang merupakan salah satu faktor penentu dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang bisa diterapkan agar siswa mendapatkan pengalaman langsung yang meningkatkan kreativitas dan motivasi dalam belajar yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kreativitas dan motivasi belajar siswa menurut perspektif guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket, dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 52 guru kelas tinggi dari 10 SD di Kecamatan Buahdua. Diperoleh temuan penelitian bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kreativitas dan motivasi belajar siswa, yang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek ini memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap kreativitas dan motivasi belajar siswa di SD. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini, guru harus mempertahankan bahkan harus semakin meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, agar kreativitas dan motivasi belajar siswa terus meningkat.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan dituntut untuk selalu lebih baik seiring dengan perubahan dunia. Guru sebagai peran utama dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar diharapkan dapat menggunakan media yang dapat di terima untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Media pembelajaran berbasis visual akan membantu anak untuk meningkatkan minat belajar mereka. Penggunaan media secara kreatif akan memungkinkan audien (siswa) untuk belajar lebih baik dan dapat meningkatkan performa mereka sesuai dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai.

Abstract

This research purpose to compare problem-based learning approach using make-a match and conventional approach in improving students’ mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition, and how is relation between mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition. Quasi experimental method with the nonequivalent control group design was used in this research. All fifth graders of elementary school in Tanjungsari sub-district was population in this research, while the sample was taken from SD Negeri Tanjungsari 1, class V-A as the control class, and class V-B as the experimental class. The non-test and test instrument was used in this research. Learning with problem-based learning approach using make-a match is significantly better than conventional learning in improving mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition of student. There is a positive relationship between mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition of students.

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi merupakan pusat pembelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan hasil tes hambatan belajar, siswa masih mengalami hambatan pada materi pengolahan data dan kemampuan representasi matematis. Tes hambatan belajar dilakukan pada siswa kelas V dan kelas VI yang dipilih secara acak sebanyak tujuh belas orang. Hasilnya menunjukan terdapat enam tipe hambatan belajar. Hambatan-hambatan belajar tersebut kemudian mendorong peneliti untuk memberikan suatu solusi dengan cara menerapkan Didactical Design Research (DDR). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar berdasarkan hambatan belajar untuk mengatasi hambatan belajar. Desain didaktis disusun berdasarkan karakteristik model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Desain didaktis disusun untuk tiga kali pertemuan yang kemudian dijadikan sebagai rancangan solusi pada hambatan belajar materi pengolahan data kelas V sekolah dasar. Kualitas desain didaktis yang dibuat dinilai berdasarkan uji keterbacaan dan respon guru. Adapun hasil penilaian kualitas Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) yang disusun menunjukan sebagian besar responden menilai LKS dalam kategori sangat baik.
