Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Novick learning model using anyflip-based e-booklet media to students’ understanding of physics concepts. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir in the even semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This type of research is a quantitative research with an experimental research approach, with a one-grup pretest-posttest design. The sample in the research was students of class XI IPA 1 Academic Year 2022/2023, a total of 35 students using of purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were validation sheets and multiple choice question tests. Data analysis was carried out using the learning completeness test. Classical un and gain test. Based on the calculation of the pretest classical learning completeness is 0% while for the posttest completeness is 91.42% and the average gain value is 0.75 with high criteria. This shows that by applying the Novick learning model assisted by Anyflip-based e-booklet can improve learning outcomes students in the form of understanding the concept in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir on the material of optical instruments.

Abstract

User satisfaction is an important thing for the UPT Bung Hatta Proclaimer Library, Bukittinggi City. One indicator that can increase user satisfaction is the existence of a collection of local content that can add information about culture, especially local culture in Bukittinggi, but based on the results of interviews and initial observations there are still users who find it difficult to utilize the collection of local content. This study aims to describe the use of local content collections at the Bung Hatta Proclaimer Library UPT Bukittinggi City. This research is a type of quantitative research with descriptive method. The population in this study was taken from users who visited the local content collection located in the reference collection with a total of 131 people. Sampling used a random sampling technique, namely random sampling of 57 samples. Data analysis was carried out descriptively with the formula of relative frequency and percentage. The results showed that the use of local content collections at the Bung Hatta Proclaimer Library in Bukittinggi City was said to be able to meet the information needs of users in the medium category. Measured by indicators of collection utilization. Based on the results obtained, it shows a medium category with a score of 3.01 which is on an interval scale of 2.61 - 3.40 in the medium category with the smallest indicator of 2.96 and the highest indicator of 3.13.

Abstract

By utilizing the Scientific Learning approach in an effort to enhance the critical thinking skills of students at As Sidiqiyah Islamic Elementary School, Siak District, this research aims to achieve that objective. The research method employed is qualitative, specifically descriptive research. The evaluation of the implementation of the Scientific Learning teaching strategy in improving students' critical thinking abilities in the subject of Al-Qur’an and Hadits yielded satisfactory results. This is evident from the observation of learning outcomes and activities conducted. The improvement in students' critical thinking skills when applying the Scientific Learning teaching strategy reached a percentage of 85%, categorized as good. The students' critical thinking abilities were also assessed as good. Supporting factors in this research involve students' curiosity, self-confidence levels, opportunities, time, and the selection of effective teaching strategies. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include a lack of students' curiosity, low self-confidence levels, time constraints, and the selection of teaching strategies that do not align with the students' needs.

Abstract

This research and development is motivated by the problem where teaching materials or practicum modules are not yet available and to do the practicum, work procedures must be written directly on the blackboard on the day of the practicum. For this reason, efforts are needed to solve this problem by integrating the practicum module with a problem based learning model on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the validity of the problem-based learning chemistry practicum module on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions, (2) to determine the students' responses to the validity of the problem-based learning chemistry practicum module on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions. The research design used is the ADDIE model which is limited to 3 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development. The results of this study are (1) the validity of the practicum module obtained from the assessment of 2 material expert validators in the very appropriate category and the media expert validator in the very appropriate category, (2) The results of student responses to the problem based learning chemistry practicum module are in good category. with a percentage of 77.47%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out that th implementation of the Hollywood Squares strategy is to improve the larning outcomes of fourh grand thematic sudents at SD Negeri 016 Tambusai Utara. The background of thid research is that the n0n achievement of the learning objective is reflected in the daily test scores of students in thematic learning from 48 students only 18 students who rach the KKM, while 30 students are doinf remedial activities, the KKM is set at 75. The subjects receiving the action in this study students class IV oda semester 2021/2022 as many as 48 students consisting of 26 female students and 22 male students. The data analysis teachnique used is the model of collecting of collecting several student activity sheets, research, and question sheets. The results of this study werw seen from the first cycle of the first meeting, there were 22 students 46% who reached the KKM. In the first cyle, the second meeting also experienced an increase again, as many as 25 students 58%. In the action of the second cycle of the first meeting, it was known thwt student learning outcomes increased again from 48 students, 30 (63%) students had reached the KKM. At the second meeting, students learning outcomes were very satisfactory, from 48 students (93%). The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the Hollywood Squares strategy to improve student learning outcomes in the fourth grade thematic learning at SD Negeri 016 Tambusai Utara was successful.

Abstract

The formulation of variables is one of the important elements in a research, because a process of gathering facts or measurements can be carried out well if the research variables can be formulated firmly. This paper will discuss the definition of variables, characteristics, types of variables, and the formulation of indicators. The method used is library research. The results are 1) research variables are factors that play a role in the events or symptoms to be studied in the form of traits taken from a different values and vary. 2) In quantitative education research the characteristics of variables are measurable, distinguishing one object from another object in a population, and the value varies. Variables must be measurable, this requires research results to be objective, measurable, and always open to test. 3) Variable types include: (i) dependent variable and independent variable, (ii) moderating variable, (iii) interveining variable, (iv) intervening variable latent and manifest, (v) indogenous and exogenous variables (vi) control variables. 4) Variables will produce several research indicators, while research indicators will produce a number of items in the research questionnaire. The easiest way to determine research indicators is to list keywords from a number of theories contained in research variables. After determining the research indicators, the researcher then creates research items (list of questions) by following the arrangement of keywords or key phrases in the research indicators section.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi Perpustakaan Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer (STMIK) Indonesia Padang dalam menerapkan koleksi digital dengan menganalisis lingkungan internal dan lingkungan eksternal SWOT perpustakaan Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dari observasi dan wawancara dengan menganalisis indikator strategi yaitu analisis SWOT (Strenght, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) yang berasal dari lingkungan internal dan lingkungan eksternal perpustakaan untuk kemudian dikelompokkan menjadi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman sehingga menghasilkan isu-isu strategi di perpustakaan. Hasil penelitian strategi penerapan koleksi digital yaitu: (1) menambah jumlah staf perpustakaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia; (2) memperbaharui ketersediaan koleksi sesuai permintaan dan kebutuhan pemustaka; (3) memaksimalkan teknologi informasi di perpustakaan; (4) memperbaharui gedung/ruang perpustakaan; (5) meningkatkan keuangan dan meminimalkan alokasi anggaran dengan sumber keuangan yang ada; (6) menjalin kerjasama dengan organisasi/lembaga lain.

Abstract

The state of Islamic education in Indonesia actually faces a very worries fate, especially Islamic education faces various problems and gaps in more complex aspects. In the development of Islamic education, the education of the Prophet is the education adopted in the Islamic education system in Indonesia. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with case study method. Data were collected using observation, interview, and analysis techniques. This study focuses on student analysis in understanding the educational curriculum at the time of the Prophet Muhammad, as an effort to realize effective education and achieve educational curriculum goals, and students are expected to become the relay generation of educators who are exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the most frequently occurring things and bad student behavior faced by Indonesian language teachers in elementary schools and private schools according to the perceptions of class teachers working in the 20017-2021 academic year. Data was collected using a questionnaire developed by researchers based on an open and open approach. closed. question. The questionnaire was applied to 30 teachers in both types of schools. The most common bad behavior is chatting and joking with other people. Meanwhile, the most troublesome bad behavior is not respecting teachers. As a result, teachers must learn appropriate behaviors that will most likely maximize available instructional time while minimizing time and energy wasted due to student disobedience. In addition, these teachers are interested in learning the reasons for students' bad behavior.

Abstract

The background of this research is for the information needs of class XII students of SMAN 1 Peranap which must be met by the library, the lack of collections available at SMAN 1 Peranap, the lack of fulfillment of information needs by the library of SMAN 1 Peranap. The research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive research methods. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive methods by compiling and grouping data. Furthermore, the data is arranged according to the group of aspects studied. The research instrument used by the researcher was observation and questionnaires. The results showed that the availability of collections in the library of SMAN 1 Peranap was still quite relevant. Most of the users stated that the library of SMAN 1 Peranap needed to add or improve the collection or library language to suit the information needs of users or class XII students. The facilities and infrastructure provided by the library of SMAN 1 Peranap have supported the teaching and learning process activities.
