Abstract

Not having the geographic potential to be explored as a tourist area does not discourage the people of Mojogedang Village from improving their welfare. The objectives to be achieved in this activity are: To train Mojogedang Village PKK members to master marketing techniques through social media and internet networks by creating interesting content with digital marketing facilities so that they can generate significant income to improve the family economy in Mojogedang Village as a supporting area for Tourism Village in Mojogedang District. The approach technique is carried out using seminar methods and simulations directly utilizing the laptop and smartphone of each participant. With this dedication, Mojogedang Village PKK members can open their minds to competition, quality products, and the correct production process and develop themselves through digital marketing training, to improve economic welfare in the future. Abstract

In connection with the easing of the Covid 19 virus in Indonesia, the Indonesian Christian University (UKI) Engineering PKM TEAM conducted welding training offline for children with special needs. The purpose of the Service for children at the Panti Karya is to be able to provide training in welding and making trash cans easily and effectively as life skills for the children of the HEPHATA HKBP Panti Karya Foundation in North Sumatra Participants, to be able to implement cleanliness around the Hephata HKBP Panti Karya Foundation in North Sumatra as well as children who already have the skills to make trash cans from welding training can generate incoming funds for the HKBP Hephata Panti Foundation in North Sumatra. With this dedication, we can equip the children of the Karya Orphanage with life skills in making trash cans and welding to increase their competence.

Abstract

Disturbances in the eyes of the elderly will cause disturbance which have an impact on discomfort and other disturbances in carrying out daily activities. The figure of the elderly is part of family members and community members whose number is increasing in line with the increase in life expectancy. The number of elderly people in Indonesia is increasing rapidly every year, so that Indonesia is expected to experience an “elderly population boom” in the early 2 decades of the 21 century as a result of the baby boom several decades ago. BPS projects that ini 2045 Indonesia will have around 63,31 million elderly or nearly 20 percent of the population. According to UN projections, the percentage of elderly Indonesians will reach 25 percent in 2050 or around 74 million elderly. This community service activity is a form of application in the optics and wave physics course. The purpose of this screening is to find out the description of eye refraction abnormalities and lectures can apply it to the community. The location for the screening was held in the Sei Agul area of Medan, North Sumatera. The subjects were the ederly and the poor around Medan Barat District who ere suspected of having refractive errors. Screening was carried out using the Snellen Optotype and corrected using a trial lens. The implementation of this community service activity took place smoothly and efficiently. The results of the exmation of the elderly, which were almost large, were that the elderly were not found to have eye defects such as night blindness, cataracts or color blindness. This activity is expected to foster community motivation in carrying out their lives with the glasses provided by the lion clubs and remind them to carry out routine checks before experiencing cataracts.

Abstract

The trend of thrifting has exacerbated the problem of fabric waste in Indonesia. Therefore, sustainable efforts are needed, such as activating fabric waste processing activities in the community. The Gulon Asri Jebres waste bank is a place for community service activities carried out by the UNS interior design study program to develop interior products that have more value for fabric waste materials. This community service activity emphasizes the development of interior product designs made from fabric waste. Development activities are accompanied by lecturers and interior design students from the start of making sketches until later they become ready-to-sell products using a design thinking approach. The products produced include chairs, laundry baskets, curtains, cushions, and plant hangings.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation as a developing country faces many nutritional problems, especially in children. If nutritional needs are not met properly, it can cause children to experience growth and development problems that affect them until they become adults. This activity was held at SDN 213 Gresik which targeted students from grades 1-3. In carrying out the activities, the team used socialization and educational methods in the form of delivering material, holding games and coloring competitions, as well as demonstrations. The results of this KKN activity students are able to understand and know the guidelines for balanced nutrition, apply how to wash hands properly in the context of Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) and Application of My Plate Contents as a substitute for the slogan 4 healthy 5 perfect. In the Socialization of Balanced Nutrition Guidelines, PHBS and Application of My Plate Contents to Students of SDN 213 Gresik Grades 1-3, almost all participants actively and enthusiastically took part in the activity by paying serious attention to the material provided and also actively asking questions when someone wanted to know more.

Abstract

Assistance in the use of social media for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) provides advantages and convenience in carrying out promotions to increase sales volume. The method used in community service is introduction, creation and assistance by choosing the right application is TikTok Shop. The TikTok Shop platform merges with TikTok as a TikTok platform that can share short videos without any time limits and has a wide reach and network with high traffic. The advantages of the TikTok Shop are expected to be able to help Mui Cat Shop to increase sales volume so that the expected profit is achieved.

Abstract

The development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the current digital era requires product branding through social media. Strengthening MSMEs product branding by providing business assistance through the Business Work Lecture (KKU) program conducted by YPPI Rembang University. In this case, the MSMEs assisted is MSMEs Anis Tempe which is located in Meteseh Kaliori Village, Rembang Regency, Central Java. The problems experienced by MSMEs Anis Tempe are at the marketing (branding) stage, lack of ability in digitalization, not having a business license and not having a business logo. The solution to this problem is to carry out a community service program with development and assistance in strengthening product branding through social media as a marketing strategy and expansion, as well as creating attractive logos and product labels. The results of this service activity are creating attractive logos and product labels, having a social media account, including the location of MSMEs on Google Maps, and having a business license continue their business. Abstract

Japanese language skills are a mandatory requirement for Indonesian interns who will work in Japan. Based on interviews with the leadership of LPK INNA (Indonesia Nippon Anugerah) Padang, it is known that the average intern who goes to Japan has Japanese language skills at N4 level or at least N5. At this level, students can read hiragana, katakana and basic kanji, they are can listen and take in information that is spoken slowly. However, interns are still hampered in communicating spontaneously, they are not fluent and stammer in carrying out conversations. In this PKM, training will be given to strengthen Japanese speaking skills to interns at LPK INNA through the Japanese Conversation Practice application. This training aims to: provide an understanding of Japanese culture related to communication and work ethic, practice carrying out daily Japanese conversations, introduce the use of the Japanese Conversation application as a medium for independent practice. Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan adalah pembuatan mural untuk penguatan program sekolah adiwiyata dan media pembelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya anak Sekolah Dasar di Kalijambe Sragen. Dikarenakan (1) belum terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang bersih, rapi, indah, nyaman, dan menarik sebagai pendukung program adiwiyata sekolah, (2) Sarana/media pembelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya kurang maksimal. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah Penerapan seni mural dengan menggambar tembok sekolah sebagai sarana memperindah visual lingkungan sekolah, dan Pemanfaatan seni mural di tembok sekolah sebagai media pembelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya dalam kegiatan menggambar. Metode yang akan digunakan melalui pelatihan dan dan pendampingan melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif berpijak pada hasil observasi dan wawancara secara mendalam mengenai tema mural dengan metode direct practice menggambar langsung lukisan pada dinding sekolah. Target luaran yang akan dihasilkan adalah (1) Karya mural di dinding sekolah (2) Artikel publikasi di jurnal Adiwidya (3) Video visualisasi karya dari hasil penerapan seni mural yang telah dilakukan; (4) Publikasi pada media cetak/online/repository UNS. Abstract

Cloves are one of the richest sources of phenolic compounds such as eugenol, eugenol acetate and gallic acid and have great potential for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and agricultural applications. The aim of this community service activity is to provide knowledge regarding the benefits of cloves, which are applied in the form of cosmetic preparations, as well as providing training to partners so that their use is optimal and practical, and it is hoped that this can become a business opportunity. The solution proposed in this service activity is (1) providing knowledge about clove plants, (2) procuring materials in the form of medicinal plants for making preparations. (3) procurement of containers for the packaging process (4) conducting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training to partners so that partners can make them independently. In service activities, the method used is an approach to the collaboration partner "SMK Mandala Bhakti Surakarta" providing counseling about clove plants and training as a transfer of science and technology (IPTEK) to make cosmetic preparations as well as evaluating the results of activities by giving partners the opportunity to practice making preparation.
