Abstract

Progressive motor vehicle tax is a tax imposed on private vehicles, both two-wheeledwithacapacity above 190 cc and four-wheeled, registered to the same owner and residence, aimedatreducing the number of vehicles. This research aims to evaluate the implementationofprogressive motor vehicle tax at the UPPD Samsat Sragen of ice. The type of this researchisqualitative and descriptive in nature. Data collection techniques were carried out throughobservation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques usedconsistofstages of data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusionverification.This research uses William Nun Dun's theory which includes ef ectiveness, ef iciency,adequacy, fairness, responsiveness, and accuracy. The results of this study showthat theevaluation of the implementation of the progressive motor vehicle tax at the UPPDSamsatSragen of ice has been going well on indicators: adequacy, competent employee resources, andsuf icient facilities and infrastructure. Fairness, the implementation of progressive taxinSragen has been fair, and the community does not feel disadvantaged by the progressivetaxpolicy. The responsiveness of Samsat has provided a Complaints and Suggestions servicetogather feedback from the community regarding the progressive tax policy amongothers.However, it is still not optimal in terms of ef ectiveness; the implementation of the progressivetax at the Samsat Sragen of ice has not achieved the desired goal of addressing the problemofvehicle growth. Ef iciency, various ef orts have been made to reach the expectedgoals, butsocialization has not yet been ef icient. Accuracy in the collection of the progressive taxhasbeen carried out consistently without any violations or illegal collection practices. However, itis still not optimal in terms of tax collection and taxpayer compliance in payingtaxesandreporting name changes. Keywords: Evaluation, Motor Vehicle, Progressive Tax

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and describing the marketingcommunication of the Wahana Cipta Sinatria (WCS) Homestay towards the SumberbuluTourism Village. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method to understand thephenomenon and obtain in-depth data holistically regarding the marketingcommunication of the Wahana Cipta Sinatria Homestay towards the SumberbuluTourism Village through the application of IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication)by Schultz. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews anddocumentation. Based on the results of the research analysis, Wahana Cipta Sinatria(WCS) carries out integrated marketing communications or IMC (Integrated MarketingCommunication), including advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicrelations, direct marketing. The conclusion of this study is that Wahana Cipta Sinatria(WCS) implements IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) marketingcommunications, including the use of social media such as WhatsApp, Instagram andFacebook in conducting promotions, interacting directly with visitors through personalselling, building public relations activities in marketing and sponsorship activities andconducting direct marketing to build trust and fedback.Keywords: Wahana Cipta Sinatria, Marketing Communication, IMC

Abstract

One manifestation of the development of communication technology is the birth of social media platforms, which have a significant impact, especially in the political realm. Kukuh Haryanto, Legislative Candidate for the Wonogiri Regency DPRD in 2024, is actively utilizing the TikTok social media platform to increase the intensity of his campaign among the public. The aim of this research is to describe the use of TikTok as a campaign media by Kukuh Haryanto as a legislative candidate for the Wonogiri Regency DPRD for electoral district I in 2024. The theory used in this research is the Mass Communication and Social Media theory of TikTok as New Media. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach method by collecting data through interviews and documents. The research results show that Kukuh Haryanto's use of social media TikTok as a campaign tool in the legislative elections in Wonogiri Regency in 2024 is said to have not been effective in bringing legislative candidates closer to the voting public. TikTok is a platform that is used only to introduce oneself, build personal branding, disseminate information, and increase interaction with voters. However, political campaigns through this platform have proven to be less effective in forming political support, the votes obtained are not enough to usher in Kukuh Haryanto as a member of the Wonogiri Regency Regional People's Representative Council. Abstract

Utilizing social media as a marketing communications medium has become a popular strategy. This is due to the ability of social media to reach a wide audience at a relatively low cost, as well as its ability to build deeper interaction and engagement with the audience, as is done by Instagram Nglapak Day. The aim of this research is to find out how to optimize media Instagram social as a marketing communication medium at the Nglapak Day thrifting event. In this research, researchers used qualitative methods. The collected data was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. The problem with Nglapak Day is that it does not optimize the use of Instagram as a marketing communications medium. The results of this research are alternative suggestions given to Nglapak Day for optimizing Instagram social media as a marketing communications medium which is supported by the Circular Model of SoMe theory according to Regina Luttrell in her book Social Media: How to Engage, Share, and Connect.

Abstract

The Utilization of Instagram Social Media as a Marketing Communication Tool for Wedding Vendors, Specifically in the Photography Industry with a Focus on Best Moments Wedding Photography Vendor, Continues to Experience Technological Advancements. The purpose of writing this Scientific Study is to understand how Best Moments Wedding Photography Vendor utilizes Instagram as a marketing communication medium to increase the number of wedding photography service users and the planning process. The author collects, analyzes, reviews literature, and conducts documentation studies of content posted by the Best Moments Wedding Photography Instagram account, as well as conducts interviews with the vendor owner. The research results show that the Best Moments Wedding Photography account utilizes Instagram as a marketing communication medium by following the G-P-A pattern: setting goals (Goals), marketing communication planning (Plan), and actions (Actions), simultaneously applying the repeated exposure theory by using Instagram ads features to reach potential clients more efficiently, resulting in an increase in the number of customers.

Abstract

The quality of students is one of the main focuses in the continuity of an Islamic boarding school. The quality of the students will influence the conduciveness of Islamic boaring school. smoothness of teaching and learning process, achievement standards, and even influence the reputation of Islamic boaring school in the community. The lack of students with superior quality at Jajar Mosque Islamic Boarding School presents its own obstacles to Islamic boarding school in realizing its ideasThe data collection method in this scientific work is open interviews and document study. Then the collected data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis method. The problem of Jajar Mosque Boarding School in obtain outstanding prospective students is that the marketing communications implemented are less than optimal. The result of this study are to provide altenatives marketing communications to increase the number of prospective highachieving students at Masjid Jajar Islamic Boarding School supported by Kotler’s marketing communications mix theory.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of online gambling on social relationships amonguniversity students. Online gambling has become a global phenomenon affecting variousaspects of life, including social relationships among students. The study employs a surveymethod to collect data from students involved in online gambling, along with in-depthinterviews to understand the social impacts they experience. The findings indicate that onlinegambling can lead to a decline in the quality of interpersonal relationships, social isolation,and emotional stress. Factors such as lack of social support and environmental influencesexacerbate these effects. Based on these findings, it is recommended that educationalinstitutions enhance awareness through seminars and educational programs, providecounseling services, tighten regulation of online gambling access, and promote positiveactivities as alternative forms of entertainment. Abstract

This research was motivated by the decline in sales experienced by Oto.com Solo Branch, so that the targets that had been determined could not be achieved optimally. After tracing the factors, the decline in sales was caused by the decline in the performance of the Oto.com Solo Branch Agent Relationship, which was triggered by miscommunication that occurred between the Branch Manager and the Solo Branch Agent Relationship Officer. As the highest authority in the Central Java area, the Area Manager has an obligation to resolve problems. Therefore, the right strategy is needed so that the problem can be resolved appropriately. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with interview and documentation data collection techniques. The research results show that the communication strategy implemented by the Area Manager is knowing the audience, compiling messages, determining and using media. Abstract

The phenomenon of women smoking is a behavior that is difficult to overcome in a socialcontext. The people of Solo consider smoking inappropriate for women. The research wasconducted at the Surakartea tea shop using qualitative research methods. Data collectiontechniques include interviews, observation and documentation carried out directly. Thetechnique for determining informants was carried out by purposive sampling of seveninformants. The theory of perception in this research proceeds through five stages; stimulation,organization, interpretation and evaluation, memory and finally the process of recall. Theresults show that the perception of visitors to the Surakartea tea shop is that there is a badstigma attached to women smoking. This is considered because cigarettes are not identical tothe character of women who are known for their elegance, and are considered to be contraryto the values of religious teachings. Second, smoking has a negative impact on health or theenvironment. Third, smoking behavior is influenced by surrounding environmental conditions.As a result of selection regarding gender with religious teaching values in the phenomenon ofwomen smoking.Keywords: cigarettes, women, phenomenon, perception
