Abstract

This research discusses the dimensions of divine love according to Rabi’ah Al-’Adawiyyah and Jalal Al-Din Al-Rumi. The main focus of this research is to understand and compare the dimensions of divine love according to the two figures, which is seen as the highest expression of the human relationship with God. The research method used is qualitative, with the type of library research (literature study), descriptive, interpretative, and comparative analysis. The results showed that according to Rabi’ah Al-’Adawiyyah love is pure without reciprocation and sincere love without being accompanied by reasons, for him love is the perfect form of devotion. Whereas according to Jalal Al-Din Al-Rumi he argues that the first thing God created was love because it is with the assistance of love that everything on this earth can run and move with good harmony. The similarity of the dimensions of divine love according to both of them is that they agree that love is the core of human relations with God. And the difference for Rabi'ah Al-'Adawiyyah, love is the highest form of total submission, while for Jalal Al-Din Al-Rumi, love is a universal force that encourages all creation to unite with God.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the religious maturity of an individual relates to emotional maturity. This study uses the Library Research method, by collecting data and information from various books and related journals. After conducting the research, it was concluded that religious maturity is a person's ability to recognize or understand religious values, which lie in their noble values, and incorporate those values into attitude and behavior. Religious maturity is influenced by internal factors in the form of a person's level or absorption of religious values, one's interpretation of religious teachings, and one's emotional maturity. External factors influencing religious maturity include the way family and environment transfer and internalize religious values and teachings to someone. Parents, in particular, are the parties who help shape the emotional maturity of children, even before the child is born. A person's emotional maturity not only impacts themselves but also affects how they practice religious values. Emotional maturity is a state or condition of reaching a mature level of emotional development, and therefore the person concerned no longer displays emotional patterns appropriate for children. Factors that can affect a person's emotional maturity include age, physical and glandular changes, parental care, environment, and gender. The main impact of emotional maturity on religious maturity is actually the greatest influence on how one understands religion, which not only contains doctrines that must be obeyed but also values that must be believed and applied in everyday life.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the meaning of zakat in the Qur'an through Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutic approach with a focus on symbolism, text, and the process of refiguration. Through Ricoeur's hermeneutic theory, this study explores how zakat can be understood more deeply as a symbol of purification, social solidarity, and economic justice, and how the Qur'anic texts about zakat can be reinterpreted according to contemporary challenges and needs. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies. The main data sources for this study are the verses of the Qur'an related to zakat, classical and contemporary interpretations, and literature on Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutics. The data were analyzed using Ricœur's hermeneutic approach which emphasizes understanding symbolism and the process of refiguring texts. The results of the study show that Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutic approach provides a new framework for understanding zakat. Zakat is understood not only as a financial obligation, but also as a symbol that reflects the values of social justice and purification of the soul. Ricœur's theory of textual autonomy allows for a rereading of the zakat verses in a modern context, where challenges such as economic inequality and global poverty are increasingly pressing. The process of reinterpretation allows zakat to remain relevant and serve as an instrument of economic empowerment and wealth distribution in modern society.

Abstract

Basically, humans in their life journey always coexist with the educational process, each phase of their development period has its own characteristics and is not the same. So it requires different teaching methods in each phase. Psychology in education helps analyze these developments, so that they can comply with educational goals in order to achieve scientific targets according to their age. Not only that, teachers also find it difficult to determine the level and criteria for achieving assessments. To make it, teachers must create derived criteria from the material taught based on goals and expectations. Apart from guiding the goals and expectations of teaching materials, teachers also need to adapt to the various abilities of students so that the existing criteria are appropriate to the circumstances. This analysis stage is still in the early stages and of course requires a lot of time.
