Abstract

The phenomenon of deflation, which is characterized by a general decline in prices, is often considered a major challenge in modern economics because it can trigger economic crises, such as economic contraction and unemployment. In Islamic economics, deflation is not only viewed from a technical angle, but also from a moral and ethical perspective based on the principles of justice, balance, and public good. Islam prohibits practices such as usury and hoarding that exacerbate the effects of deflation, while encouraging wealth redistribution through instruments such as zakat, infaq and waqf. This study aims to examine the solution to deflation based on an Islamic economic perspective and its relevance in facing modern economic challenges. Using a literature-based qualitative-descriptive approach, this research explores the concepts of classical thinkers such as Al-Maqrizi and their application in the era of globalization. The results show that the application of Islamic financial instruments, the strengthening of the real sector, and the elimination of usury can create sustainable economic stability. This solution not only focuses on short-term economic recovery, but also promotes equitable and inclusive growth.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of cultural values in Minang-Mandailing marriage with the Anthropology approach of Islamic Law in the West Pasaman community. Marriage in the Minang-Mandailing community is not just a social bond, but also a manifestation of customary cultural values that interact with the principles of Islamic law. The West Pasaman community, which consists of various ethnic groups, shows a combination of customary law and Islamic law in the practice of marriage. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies in several villages in West Pasaman, which involves in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, religious leaders, and local communities. The results of the study show that there are changes in the implementation of marriage that are influenced by modernization factors, education, and the influence of state law, but still maintain traditional values that are closely related to family honor and social status. On the other hand, Islamic law provides a more egalitarian framework in the rights and obligations of couples in marriage. This transformation of cultural values is also reflected in efforts to harmonize the principles of customary law and Islamic law, which are sometimes conflicting but also complementary. This research is expected to provide insight into the dynamics of the relationship between customary law and Islamic law in the practice of marriage as well as its contribution to social change in the West Pasaman community.

Abstract

In today's era of technological development, electronic-based media is a highly desirable tool, especially for children. The majority of technology contains entertainment and games that often interfere with children's interest in learning. This requires teachers to develop more creative and effective learning strategies to achieve learning objectives. This study aims to describe the use of digital media-based learning methods in the form of animated videos in learning language vocabulary, considering that children generally love animated movies. The usual lecture method is considered boring by students, thus reducing interest in learning. This research uses observation and interview methods to analyze the effectiveness of Arabic vocabulary learning through animated videos. The results show that this method is very instrumental in increasing children's interest and participation in the learning process. Children are more interested in learning new Arabic vocabulary through animated media, which they consider more fun than traditional methods. In addition, this method also strengthens students' memory of the Arabic vocabulary learned. Based on these findings, the use of animated videos in vocabulary learning proved to be an effective solution in increasing students' interest in learning and understanding of the material taught.

Abstract

Arabic, which has played a crucial role in the history of civilization and science, now faces challenges in the academic and scientific world due to globalization and dialectal diversity. During the Abbasid Golden Age, Arabic became the primary language for disseminating knowledge through translation and scientific development. Therefore, the revitalization of Arabic, by exploring its glorious history, aims to re-enforce its role as the mother language. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review, with data collected from primary and secondary sources through academic platforms. The results of this study indicate that Arabic has a long history that began with the Semitic civilization in the Arabian Peninsula and developed rapidly during the Arab Jahiliyah period. Mecca became a trading center that introduced standard Arabic, which later became a lingua franca thanks to Islamic influence. During the Abbasid era, Arabic reached its peak as a language of knowledge with the establishment of the House of Wisdom. Its influence was also significant on Western civilization, where Arabic scientific works were translated into Latin and became an essential part of European university curricula.

Abstract

Promiscuity among young people often has negative impacts, such as early marriage or pregnancy out of wedlock. Pregnancy before marriage is a serious issue that confuses many parties, including parents, teachers and community leaders. In situations like this, parents often feel embarrassed and try to find solutions to save the family's good name. Marriage itself is an inner and outer bond between a man and a woman, with the aim of forming a harmonious and eternal family based on divine values. According to some scholars, the legal origin of marriage is mubah (permissible) if it is related to al-ahkam al-khamsah. However, in practice, marriage is often seen as a way to fulfill one's physical or biological needs. This phenomenon occurs more and more often in modern life. Pregnancy out of wedlock is a consequence of sexual relations before marriage. In Indonesia, women who become pregnant out of wedlock are usually married off immediately. Such marriages, known as "pregnancy marriages," may be with the man responsible for the pregnancy or with another man. This article will discuss social and religious approaches in providing counseling about marriage due to adultery, with a focus on strategies to increase legal and moral awareness in the Al-Barakah Ta'lim Council.

Abstract

The increasing volume of waste has become a significant challenge in efforts to maintain environmental sustainability. This article proposes the concept of "Trash Charity" as an innovative approach to address waste management issues while encouraging active community involvement. Trash Charity integrates social, economic, and environmental values by encouraging people to donate recyclable waste as a form of charity. This concept not only aims to reduce waste but also empowers communities through the economic value of waste management. This approach involves collaboration among communities, religious institutions, non-governmental organizations, and local governments to create a sustainable system. By emphasizing the importance of education and public awareness, the Trash Charity model has proven effective in increasing community participation, generating social benefits, and supporting the circular economy. The article also presents case studies and empirical data that demonstrate the positive impact of implementing this concept in various regions. Ultimately, Trash Charity offers a practical and ethical solution to waste problems, creating added value for the environment and strengthening social solidarity. This study recommends further development of this model for broader application as part of a national waste management strategy.

Abstract

Language is one of God's gifts that is a human facility to maintain his mind and control external influences that come into contact with him. Humans are social creatures who need interaction with each other. This interaction certainly requires language so that it can be understood by the other person. In general, humans do not feel that the use of language is a skill that requires knowledge. The use of language seems easy because the growth of a person using language seems to run naturally according to age development. For example, when a baby is one to one and a half years old, he begins to produce small forms of language that we can identify as words. The process of language runs mechanically and mentally, meaning that the language process is related to the mental/brain process of humans so that linguistic studies need to be complemented by interdisciplinary studies between linguistics and psychology which are generally called psycholinguistics. The object of psycholinguistics is the language found in humans.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the understanding of Hadith in Indonesia still faces various challenges, especially related to the application of the right methodology in the modern context. This research aims to analyze Muhammad Syuhudi Ismail's thinking in the methodology of understanding hadith, especially the textual-contextual approach he developed, as well as his contribution to the development of Hadith studies in Indonesia. This study applies a qualitative approach with historical-analytical methods, where data is obtained through literature study techniques on Syuhudi Ismail's main works. Then, the data was analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study show that Syuhudi Ismail has succeeded in developing a comprehensive methodology for understanding Hadith by integrating textual and contextual aspects in a balanced manner. The findings of this study imply the need for a more holistic approach in the study of hadith in Indonesia, which not only prioritizes textual aspects, but also pays attention to the social, cultural, and historical context in the application of Hadith in contemporary society.
