Abstract

Wealth is an essential need for human life; however, Islam emphasizes that the means of acquiring wealth must comply with sharia. Haram money, obtained through practices such as usury, gambling, and corruption, not only harms individuals but also negatively impacts society as a whole. This study discusses haram money from the figh perspective, aiming to enhance public understanding of the laws related to financial management in accordance with Islamic principles. In the context of modern economics, it is crucial to comprehend the consequences of using haram money, which can lead to social injustice and diminish individual integrity. This community service initiative involves socialization and education for the public, particularly the mothers of majelis taklim, about the importance of earning lawful income. The methods used in this activity include socialization through material delivery and discussions. Through an interactive approach, this activity aims to encourage behavioral changes in financial transactions and raise community awareness about the figh principles related to haram money.

The results of the study explain, first, the manifestation of mahabbah in the rolasan tradition is connected to other spiritual practices such as gratitude, qonaah, ikhlas and others.Second, the social construction of the rolasan tradition begins with the externalization stage, which is how knowledge derived from an individual's stock of knowledge is released to understand social reality. The next process is objectification, which is a series of various traditions, both oral and symbolic, such as "blessings," "tawur," and parades, which are then institutionalized in a tradition called "rolasan." The next process is internalization, where the Muslim community of Tegal Regency preserves and passes it down.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to enhance public understanding, particularly among the women of Majelis Ta'lim Utsman Bin Affan, regarding nikah sirri from the perspectives of Islamic law and state law. Many people perceive nikah sirri as purely a religious matter, neglecting its broader implications, particularly on the rights and responsibilities of spouses and children. Through interactive socialization and guidance, participants were provided with detailed explanations and engaged in discussions to facilitate better comprehension of the consequences of nikah sirri. These include its impacts on legal, social, and psychological aspects of family life. The activity showed significant results, with participants demonstrating an 80% improvement in understanding compared to their initial knowledge. This initiative not only increased participants' awareness but also encouraged them to share the knowledge gained with their families and communities. The education provided highlighted the importance of considering religious, legal, and social dimensions in choosing formally registered marriages. The findings indicate that the education offered by Majelis Ta'lim Utsman Bin Affan plays a crucial role in reducing nikah sirri practices and fostering greater public awareness about the necessity of marriage legality. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of religious values in shaping adolescents' character in facing negative influences, particularly LGBT, in both the school and family environments. The methods used in this research include in-depth interviews with Mr. Wawan Iwank Kurniawan, an Islamic Religious Education teacher at SMKN 1 Cikampek, and direct socialization to students in the classroom to enhance their understanding of the importance of religious values in dealing with such social issues. The findings indicate that religious values such as faith, worship, and morality play a crucial role in shaping adolescents' character. Parents, as the "first madrasa," play a primary role in instilling religious values from an early age, while schools contribute by reinforcing religious understanding through humanistic and relevant teaching. Although most parents at SMKN 1 Cikampek are aware of the importance of religious education at home, challenges in optimizing their role still exist. The collaboration between parents and schools has proven effective in strengthening students' character and countering negative influences such as LGBT.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing relevance of religious moderation in the context of Indonesia’s diverse religious and cultural landscape. The need to understand and apply religious values in a moderate and inclusive manner is crucial for maintaining social harmony and preventing religiously motivated conflicts. This research aims to analyze the contributions of Syaikh Mahfudz at-Tarmasi's thoughts on contextualizing hadith, particularly in supporting the principles of religious moderation, and to explore their relevance to the Nusantara society. The study employs a normative approach with descriptive-analytical methods. Data were collected through a literature review of Syaikh Mahfudz's works and other relevant supporting literature. The data were then analyzed qualitatively to identify key themes that promote religious moderation. The findings reveal that Syaikh Mahfudz at-Tarmasi utilized a methodology of sanad and matan criticism in interpreting hadiths. He not only scrutinized the textual authenticity but also considered the social and cultural contexts, resulting in a moderate understanding of Islam that aligns with the pluralistic nature of Indonesian society. The study's findings underscore the necessity of strengthening moderate Islamic preaching based on the values of rahmatan lil ‘alamin to enhance interfaith tolerance and counter extremism. This research is expected to contribute significantly to the enrichment of hadith studies in Indonesia and to offer practical guidance for implementing peaceful and inclusive Islamic teachings within a multicultural society.
