Abstract

The ability to speak Arabic is crucial for individuals learning the language, particularly for religious, academic, and professional purposes; however, many learners struggle to achieve fluency due to a lack of understanding of the cultural and social context. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with literature review as the data collection technique to explore how social communication and da'wah contribute to improving Arabic speaking skills. The hypotheses proposed are that social communication has a positive influence on improving speaking skills, da'wah as a communication medium contributes significantly to the development of speaking skills, and the combination of the two has a greater impact than either method alone. The results show that social communication creates an interactive environment that supports speaking practice, while da'wah enhances students' understanding of language structures and vocabulary appropriate to the social context. The combination of these two elements has proven effective in improving Arabic speaking skills, so this study is expected to contribute to the development of more interactive and applicable Arabic language learning methods.

Abstract

Before the First Industrial Revolution, the concept of property in society was generally limited to physical objects with clear economic value. However, this revolution brought a significant paradigm shift, introducing copyright as a new form of property with legal protection. This study explores how Islam views copyright, using a historical-normative approach to demonstrate that the concept of property in Islam actually accommodates copyright as a valuable asset. Although the discourse on copyright in Islam has only developed in the contemporary era, the works of scholars such as Wahbah Zuhaili have provided a clear basis for the importance of protecting intellectual property. This research aims to dig deeper into the existence of copyright in the Islamic context, as well as how changes in social and economic values have influenced this understanding. Thus, this study offers important insights into the interaction between Islamic law and the development of copyright in the modern world.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the roles of Hukum Taklifi and Wadh’i can be applied in establishing Islamic economic law and their relevance to modern economic transactions. Hukum Taklifi provides moral guidance by defining obligations, prohibitions, and allowances in the economic context, such as the obligation to pay zakat and the prohibition of usury (riba). Meanwhile, Hukum Wadh’i regulates the conditions for the validity of economic transactions, including contract clarity and asset ownership. Through a case study of the application of these laws in murabaha contracts within Islamic banking, this research highlights that these laws not only ensure the validity of transactions but also play a crucial role in maintaining fairness and transparency in the modern Islamic financial system. A descriptive approach using library research methods is employed, focusing on Islamic jurisprudence literature to provide an overview of how Taklifi and Wadh’i can contribute to the establishment of Islamic economic law in the contemporary era.
